Reviews for Scottish Inn Waco

Review 1:Seriously, the place should be condemned. Piles of trash and debris right by our door, cobwebs and spiders in the room. Obviously hadn't been cleaned. Dirty towels in bathroom, food splatters all over the walls, floors filthy, holes in door and broken electrical outlets, broken toilet paper holder, furniture that wouldn't even make it in a thrift store.

Review 2:Sheets were at least clean, and can walk to McClaine Stadium

Review 3:Overall, the room appeared worn out and dirty. The carpet was very frayed, the furniture was worn out, the grout and caulk in the tub was moldy. There was no toilet paper in the room. It wreaked of cigarette smoke. The mirror was just leaning against the wall instead of being hung on it. There were a lot of water stains on the ceiling.

Review 4:The air conditioner worked and there was a heavy dead bolt on the door.

Review 5:Sheets smelled clean, like bleach. That's always a good thing. No bed bugs or other bugs for that matter. Staff was friendly. There was fruit for breakfast so we grabbed a banana and hit the road after our stay. Great distance from the new stadium, would definitely recommend this area to anyone coming to a baylor home game.

Review 6:Based on the cleanliness of the lobby and exterior, had my wife been with me, she would never have gone into the room. The coffee was cold and had a bad taste.

Review 7:The hotel was an easy walk to the Baylor football game. The room was fine for me as I only needed a place to sleep.

Review 8:Breakfast was store bought honeybuna and bananas. The room felt like a low budget motel and the bathroom door wouldn't lock bc someone had broken it open at some point. We paid high dollar for very poor accommodations.

Review 9:The location was the only positive. Strangely, when I made my reservation it said I got the last available room and yet there were a total of 3 cars there that weekend. How does that work?

Review 10:There is no phone service and the wi Fi is not very good.

Review 11:The staff is very friendly.

Review 12:The wifi signal wasn't good

Review 13:Was first assigned to a room that was already occupied. The smoke alarm was torn off the wall. Some of the lights had no bulbs.

Review 14:no coffee pots, no phone, broke tv they charged my credit card twice.

Review 15:The room smelled bad, like maybe there was a plumbing problem or a mold problem. The furniture was old, and none of it seemed very clean.

Review 16:Dirty, felt unsafe, yelling going on in parking lot and doors slamming at 3am from people downstairs.

Review 17:needs major remodeling

Review 22:Highway noise

Review 23:After reading reviews I got scared. But when I got here it was fine. It's not the Windsor crown, but for then price it's pretty good.

Review 24:It was old and smelly. Way to expensive. Towels were so rough it hurt my skin. No blanket on the bed just an old smelly quilt. The whole experience there was terrible. would not stay there again or ever re commend it to my enemy.

Review 25:Nothing

Review 26:Our room was a total dive. Where do I begin. Stained furniture, holes in the wall, mildewed shower stall. The place need to be condemned. I should have booked a hotel outside of Waco for homecoming. It would have been worth the drive.

Review 27:Close proximity to Baylor campus.

Review 28:The rooms were not very clean. I wished that I wore contacts so I could take them out and not have to see the filth! Our toilet was clogged and overflowed, they could not fix it but gave us access to another room (even dirtier) so that we had a bathroom. Morning couldn't come soon enough!

Review 29:It was the only available room in the area for the dates we needed. The rates were very low and that goes with the saying, "You get what you pay for."

Review 30:My wife would not use the nasty shower/tub. The bathroom door frame was busted. The road noise was horrific. We woke up to a flooded bathroom floor after a little shower outside. Even the toilet paper was wet. Water came in thru the vent we think.

Review 31:Absolutely nothing.

Review 32:Hole on wall, dirty carpet, terrible mattress, it made a lot of noise when moving, broken door security chain, etc. etc... We won't never stay there again
