Review 2：A fantastic hotel, ideally situated for the beaches and attractions near to and in Oostende. The staff and management were very welcoming and overall made us feel valued. The room was pleasant with comfortable beds. The breakfast gets a full 5 star appreciation with just about everything you could wish for. A delightful stay in a delightful hotel

Review 9：Although the room was comfortable the ensuite bathroom had a see through glass panels sliding door! Even being with my sister, a minimum privacy should be expected especially when you are on the toilet and when it is next to the bed!!! When we complained we were told there were no other room but they would make sure they would put some panel, or paper or whatever. When we returned at the end of the day, nothing had been done. This is a joke and even though we stayed at The Imperial 2 years ago and were satisfied we will not return.

Review 11：When i left i looked under the bed and found amongst others a used condom The breakfast coffee was much too light in my opinion. Yoghurt, fruit, nuts... there was no way of having a healthy version of a breakfast. The pieces of melons available tasted bad and artificially flavoured.

Review 17：Not enough air conditioning devices for all the guests. We asked to late, nothing available, so ended up having 2 very hot sleepless nights, staring at the gory backside of the neighboring building. Pillows were rock-hard. No alternative pillows available. Parking was a stiff walk away from the hotel. They certainly overcharge for what they offer.

Review 31：• At 8h staff members are starting to clean bedrooms (noise…bye bye holiday sleep)..Breakfast is closed at 10 am sharp which is too fast if you are on holiday.. a staff member is holding you at the entrance until there is a free place and the dining space is way too small in respect to the number of guests. (why not changing the unused library downstairs into additional dining space? ).. They are also understaffed as they constantly need to put all their efforts in the cleaning tables for the waiting guests. Consequently, they have not sufficient time to accommodate the buffet.. • The tv screen is rather small. The 20 euro additional fee for the sea-view does not match expectations as the distance is too far...Don’t do it..Is the imperial hotel a bad hotel ? no it isn't. Is the imperial hotel a hotel you would recommend ? no : it is outdated and not well organized.

Review 45：The Wifi link comes and goes so you have to keep registering. The breakfast is limited with not a lot of choice and the tables are too close to each other and the chairs are too big for the size of the room, which makes movement in the breakfast room difficult.

Breakfast is included with the price. I got a good deal when booking so it was excellent value and it is very near the beach and promenade.

Review 55：Over priced for the quality paid £206 for two nights. Had a double room which was two single pushed together and very uncomfortable. Shower head in bathroom with nowhere to put it so had to sit in bath. Nothing like the pictures on the website very basic for cost. Would not stay here again as there are cheaper places to stay which are of better quality.

The staff did not speak English very well or could not answer simple questions about Oostende. Totally overpriced and low standard hotel.

Review 107：There's no shower curtain. The bathtub is pretty narrow for European standard. Very limited amount of crosissants for so many guests during a busy period - 10 small pieces in a small basket. Room is quite warm. Not everyone likes the room temperature set centrally. Parking is far especially for people with big luggages staying for a longer period. They have to walk quite far from parking to hotel and vice versa.

Review 109：I had to pay upfront for the room. Invoices could only be printed out between 07.00 and 09.00, and I had to leave early, so asked to pay in the evening before. I couldn´t get a refund for any of the last 3 days, when I had to shorten my stay, the receptionist told me in an unfriendly tone.

Review 130：The corridors felt a bit crowded and narrow. The room is also a bit small and gives a sense of discomfort. I also preferred that they removed bible from the room and provide upon request. The stall shower is very small. The options for TV channels are limited with poor quality. The breakfast room is small and I needed to wait for several minutes till chairs were emptied. Also during breakfast it seemed that they were understaffed! I had to wait for knife, tea cup....

The hotel is visited by tourists as well as by regulars, proof the quality and regularity of their service. A special note for the front rooms on the seventh floor which have a nice little terrace. What can I say more: I booked already my next visit.
