Reviews for Rosen Centre Hotel

Review 1:Charged for a pet when I was NOT traveling w any pet. It took me two different calls to have the charge removed. And the reception staff did not believe me until I insisted!

Review 2:Mgr on duty the evening I checked in. She was wonderful

Review 3:For the price it would have been nice if they served free hot breakfast.

Review 4:Excellent location to all the major shopping and attractions. Nice staff and beautiful facilities.

Review 5:We have been coming here for years - love the location..LOVE the convenience of "REDS" in the lobby. However - you advertise "Hagen-Daz" ice cream by the deli (hand scooped - that is false - it is NOT Hagen-Daz - not very nice to mislead people!

Review 6:The hotel has excellent location for anyone visiting the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). The room was as expected, not the highest standards, but decent for its price.

Review 7:The rooms were a little small for a party of four. For the price you paying, I would have thought the rooms would have been larger. Also, the parking per day which was $15.00. I ended up paying the extra $5.00 for valet because of the long walk from the garage to my room.

Review 8:I really liked the cleanliness of the hotel. There rooms were very clean. I also was amazed at the number of restaurants and the small cafe. The check-in process was the staff was very professional.

Review 9:I asked for a low level floor with view of International Drive and when I got to the hotel they asked me what kind of room I wanted and gave me a view of the hotel's ceiling. Worst view ever.

Review 10:Great if going to the Convention Center. However, beware, it's a loooong walk using the Skywalk. The room service's service was good, the wings terrible. The bell boys were all very nice and friendly.

Review 11:Breakfast restaurant was expensivel for the variety of choice of food and service was poor and very robotic

Review 12:The beds were very comfortable the room was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely.

Review 13:Nothing

Review 14:The staff was very attentive. I loved the room service and resort like amenities. The pool was relaxing and plenty of room .I would definitely stay again.

Review 15:Free shuttles to theme parks are advertised but they don't run very frequently and the times are very restrictive. I had seen a free shuttle to the Florida Mall advertised which staff knew nothing about. The breakfast buffet is a bit of a rip off as it's self service but there's a service charge added to the bill and the price of the buffet is steep at $16.95. I'd sooner eat outside the hotel.

Review 16:The hotel and room were clean. The pool area was nice.

Review 17:It was very noisy, I'm a light sleeper so I didn't sleep well. I would definitely bring ear plugs next time. The bed was hard so that didn't help with sleeping. We ate lunch in bar one day and it took over an hour. The waitress kept complaining about being the only server and how busy she was, but there were only a handful of other people there.

Review 18:The location was most important, having a skywalk connected to the convention center was awesome. We ordered room service breakfast and it was amazing and huge! They also let us check in an hour which we really appreciated.

Review 19:The price. This used to be a very lucrative hotel, but now it being out competed by nearby Hilton and Hyatt (former Peabody). Those hotels are the same price and have better amenities.

Review 20:Location wise, it was in a calmer section of I-Drive. Not too far from Sea World or the other parks.

Review 21:The lobby bar service and cocktails were the worst--Ramada Inn in the 70's quality. Plus no queen beds--it was the first time we slept in a double bed since the 70's too.

Review 22:So close to the exhibition hall, and wonderful meeting place before and after the show.

Review 23:Parking was not free and had to pay an additional $15 a night .... It should be free for guests!!! I'm already paying to stay there !

Review 24:Hotel location was perfect. Close to everything

Review 25:Restaurant prices No free shuttle services to the theme parks. Parking was located in the rear of the hotel and you had to walk mile to get to the hotel elevators.

Review 26:The hotel offered a variety of amenitities and restaurants. We didn't care for the prices in one of the restaurants but the poolside bar and grille and the gift shoppe had exceptional service and great prices. I would stay here any day! Great hotel!

Review 27:The location was awesome, the 24hour deli was convenient and offered everything. I loved the variety of restaurants, the bed was so soft, the staff was more than helpful, and the decorations and holiday spirit filled the air. I didn't want to leave. All of my requests were met. I will come back again!

Review 28:Price. $200+ is a lot. They didn't charge my roommate properly when she checked out after me. I was charged the whole thing. They fixed it when she called them.

Review 29:Best location for the convention center. Many bar/restaurant options right in the hotel. Nice room. Great views from the front of the building.

Review 30:Liked the cleanliness and quality of room/fcilities

Review 31:It was a little expensive.

Review 32:Linens, shower, sink and the whole room was tidy and clean like I would expect it to be. Water pressure was great. Wi-Fi was strong with no glitches. Very close proximity to Orange county convention center.

Review 33:It's clean fantastic staff wonderful hotel

Review 34:The bathroom kept making noises filtered from the next door bathroom

Review 35:Shower pressure and water heat were terrible, pillows were terrible, beds are way to small and uncomfortable.

Review 36:Food choices, bar, pool, and starbucks

Review 37:Very good hotel, everything was quite well

Review 38:15 usd self parking

Review 39:Perfect location, very nice view, clean room

Review 40:none

Review 41:location, location, location, attentive staff

Review 42:Location was great. Room clean and updated. Staff friendly and helpful. Discount on Sea World tickets a bonus!!!

Review 43:Wifi worked the first day but I could not connect for the remainder of my stay.

Review 44:Good location and comfortable room. Friendly staff

Review 45:Friendliness d helpfulness of the staff.

Review 46:Coffee bar not open any of 4 days, expensive breakfast buffet with poor food

Review 47:Friendly staff

Review 48:Wish we could have had late checkout

Review 49:Everything was really clean and maintained

Review 50:The room was beautiful. I asked for a view and they gave it to me.

Review 51:Expense--food expensive

Review 52:Staff were extremely kind and helpful.

Review 53:The wifi is super slow and it was easier just to go off the data package

Review 54:I enjoyed myself and was very comfortable

Review 55:I DID NOT LIKE THE PARKING YOU HAVE TO WALK ALONG WAYS IFVYOU SELF PARK.

Review 56:I LOVE THE LOCATION AND THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE HOTEL.

Review 57:Room old . Ac noisy. Bed uncomfortable. It shoukd cost 1/3

Review 58:Location

Review 59:Paying to park

Review 60:The bar by the pool

Review 61:The cleanliness & friendliness

Review 62:All of the staff was nice and helpful.

Review 63:Two full size beds we request a King size

Review 64:Shower drainage was slow.

Review 65:Location, location, location......

Review 66:Everything

Review 67:nothing

Review 68:price, location, size of the hotel. elevators fast and on time, pool area.

Review 69:Restaurant Options, Amenities Available, and location on the International Drive strip.

Review 70:I was able to locate an affordable hotel in a short period of time. Not to mention, the hotel was clean and elegant.

Review 71:Parking garage was quite a walk from hotel lobby.

Review 72:My kids loved the pool.

Review 73:How far we he to walk from parking to lobby of hotel

Review 74:Rooms are large and comfortable. The decor is a bit tired.

Review 75:Too far away from elevators Room 1630

Review 76:I called 3 days before my Saturday arrival to change my reservation from Sat - Wed to Sun - Wed. I was told it was too late to change, so I said that was fine since I was taking the red-eye and would arrive at the hotel at 8 AM to check in. When I arrived, my entire 4 day reservation was cancelled because I did not show up by 7 AM Sunday. I had to stay 2.5 miles away from the convention center where I was working at a trade show. A major inconvenience and added cab expenses. This was the worst business trip I have ever taken because of the manner in which this was handled, or mis=handeled.

Review 77:The amount put on hold on our credit card was way in excess and quite a hassle to sort with them..they really need to stop putting more than the booking cost on hold

Review 78:Location to convention centre and I drive

Review 79:Everything else. Room was moldy, bed was not even slightly comfortable, the cleaning lady took all my toiletries & didn't replace them, my toilet randomly began overflowing one morning while I was in the shower, staff weren't really that helpful (& certainly weren't apologetic that it happened). I will never stay there again & will ask my organization to never use that hotel again.

Review 80:Good location. That's it.

Review 81:Only basic non high speed available for free. You had to pay for the fast speed. Now a days it is a must and most hotels give high speed wifi included in the room rate

Review 82:Couldn't sleep at all the whole 9 nights we were there, we was moved 3 times but the air conditioning was so old and noisy it didn't make no difference where you were you could still hear it very loudly.

Review 83:There was always something going wrong with my room couldn't get any sleep if it wasn't the smoke detectors beeping you could hear the neighbours alarm clocks going off rooms where cleaned very late the only reason we stated was for convienience

Review 84:Housekeeping staff ignored my request for privacy and entered the room in my absence. Housekeeper also removed the "do not disturb" signage and did not replace it despite multiple requests.

Review 85:Manager was very responsive to my concerns and provided free dry-cleaning for my personal clothing that was mishandled by housekeeping. I like the extra door lock feature, especially for single female traveler.

Review 86:Nothing.

Review 87:This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, in my entire life. Every single aspect was top notch. I really felt that I was treated well as a guest.

Review 88:The first night I was there I had the "Do not disturb" sign on my door, but the next day the housekeeping people STILL knocked on my door. Good thing I had the extra lock/hold on my door or the maid would've just walked right in! I told her I didn't need anything, and I had the sign up for a reason. Then when she came back later, I was in the room and laying on the bed. I told her I didn't need the bed made or the bedding changed, but she kept trying to ask me questions, and she didn't speak English which was hard. Very nice lady, but it would be nice if they understood somewhat what was going on.

Review 89:I liked the comfortable beds, and the Samsung tv in room 1028 was exceptional. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and I felt comfortable checking in and out. Room service was impeccable, and I'm glad they offered that service because two nights in a row I was tired and didn't want to go out to get anything to eat.

Review 90:THe noise of everyone on the floor with people yelling and knocking on the door all the time. Maintenance came n knocked n came in n same with housekeeping even before check out asking if we were going to check out. Go no sleep after 6:30 am. Totally upset and ridiculous!!!! So many people knocking and yelling n not being considerate of others and especially the staff coming in after knocking. Yea they knocked but didn't even have time to get to the door. Had the lunch buffet and wasn't impressed especially for the price. Pool bar is hardly open either. Very disappointed for the money we paid!!!!

Review 91:The thermostats in the rooms being controlled by sensors. I understand why but, at night the room got stuffy. This doesn't help someone going through menopause or the spouse. Parking fee for guests staying there was high.

Review 92:Rosen pizza. Good crust.

Review 93:The staff were rude and not helpful at all. They lost the reservation twice and gave our room to other customers three times because their booking system was not organized. Accordingly we had to check inn 3 times before we got a room that we could keep. The room service ladies walk in on you sleeping and they dont clean at all. The room was dirty for a week even when we asked them to clean it. The internet wasn't working in our room. It was an uncomfortable stay. Never again!!!!

Review 94:The hotel looked nice and fancy. Location was appropriate for our stay.

Review 95:To have to sleep in a car all night with my 7 year old son being nothingwas available because of college football week. I should sue your asses. That was the worst day of my night + they wouldnt even try to find analternative place to stay. You would never get my vote. Ill advise myfriends and family to never ever book with u your hotel.

Review 96:Im not inpressed being I booked a reservation and I get there and myreservation was cancelled because of credit card when I had the cash.

Review 97:Be careful and watch your charges. There were only 2 of us, but the hotel had us down for 4, and tried to charge us an extra $100 per night even though we told the concierge there were only 2 of us. She stated "it doesn't matter". Checked my credit card charge that evening, was overcharged anyway, caught it right away and it was taken care of quickly with a phone call.

Review 98:Christmas time trip. Hotel was great, clean, and never needed anything. Great value!

Review 99:Parking kind of expensive, the tv was a bit far from the bed.

Review 100:Large rooms, comfortable beds and close to everything. Also like the extra vanity area outside the bathroom. Fast elevators.

Review 101:We could easily hear through our room door all people passing by. Alsothe staff didn't take our breakfast order from the door in theevening, so we were left without food, however it was Easter weekend andthe hotel was fully packed. The next day everything was ok.

Review 102:Amazing location to visit parks: 15 min walk to Aquatica and SeaWorld, equal distance between Universal and Disney. The hotel has goodfacilities for the price: great pool area, free WiFi, nice rooms.Everything was clean.

Review 103:first they were not able to have a king size bed for me( i am 6'6) the odor in the room was so bad i had to change rooms the next day (they could not accomodate me that night for another room i was told) The pillows were the cheapest I have ever seen. I stay in hotels 200 nights a year.

Review 104:Our room was next to the service entry door on the 7th floor and it was very very loud. They woke us up with banging and lound noises very early in the morning. We were very disappointed.

Review 105:Lobby was very nice and the bellmen were extremly friendly.

Review 106:Parking at the hotel is $13 per day, which is not factored into the advertised price and added automatically to your tab. Another 1% per day surcharge is added for some reason related to the convention center next door, and this is also above the advertised price. The hotel is still a good deal, but this kind of false advertising soured my experience a bit. The WiFi in our room only worked about half the time.

Review 107:We paid about $114/night (everything included) for a room in a clean, modern hotel in the middle of International Drive. That price and location can't really be beat.

Review 108:I am not used to share my room with cockroaches. The shower and the floor was full with hair from the person(s) before and the smell in the room was just terrible

Review 109:Oom 2410 A/C was extremely noisy. Counter tops on both nightstands we're sticky and had sticky rings which no one had cleaned. Could use some softer pillows Lobby had overwhelming smell of pizza all morning and all night. Better ventilation needed.

Review 110:The room in which the seminar was held was a comfortable temperature. Not freezing which was extremely pleasant

Review 111:One party of our group arrived to be told that she was being relocated to another hotel as guests who had booked via conference website were being given priority

Review 112:Excellent proximity to conference in Orange County Convention centre and Peabody - less than 5 minutes via a sky walk.

Review 113:There was coffee in the room - but I asked for a kettle and tea bags to be able to make tea for the 5 days I was staying. The reception desk said that I would have to pay for them. This is the most expensive hotel I have stayed in and the only one that refused to supply tea in the bedroom on request - indeed in most others - it is freely available. I found this very irritating,

Review 114:I like the option of the pizza and market on the level 1 this is especially necessary when you are coming in after midnight - although no room service throughout the night, The people within the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Review 115:But since you asked:Some staff excellent others not so nice at all. Needed engineer & after 30 min wait - I cancelled. Security staff excellent - when around.

Review 116:Overall enjoyed stay.More amenities than expected.

Review 117:Problem with the bill- tried to charge me more than the rate arraganed by the booking company. Charges were not fully explained- I got different answers everytime I asked. Be careful with the initial sign in- read the on screen document carefully- better yet- ask for the form to be printed out so you can read carefully. Charges (room fee and charge for incidentals) were not done altogether and this raised a flag with my bank who was concerned about fraud.

Review 118:Decor- stunningly beautiful inside and out, close to transporation, close to the Convention Center, Lots of food choices, Lots of places to sit and relax in the hotel, Staff helpful in terms of sightseeing,

Review 119:Room was not handicapped friendly - I.E. no grab bars in the shower. Ihad requested handicapped equipment. There was only one lounge chair inthe room - my wife had to sit in the computer chair.

Review 120:Staff was extremely cooperative and friendly.

Review 121:Put a bigger tv in the room, put better information for tourist sitesand things within walking distance if there are any

Review 122:I like the resteraunts and the pizza place and store around it.
