Reviews for Emerald Inn Expo

Review 1:I had gotten two rooms and they were Filthy. The rooms and beds didn't look like they had been cleaned at all. We were moved to another set of rooms which were cleaner. One of the rooms door handle came off from inside. The clerk tried to fix it with a paperclip! Was offered another room but we had kids with us and had already had to move once and it was late. I normally don't have issues with this motel but I was truly not happy with this stay. I asked about maybe a discount on the rooms or maybe even one for another time for all the hassle of 1st dirty rooms and then broken door handles but nothing was offered just another room.

Review 2:Nothing really pretty content .

Review 3:The receptionist was very helpful with directions and suggestions . We were there for a veterans reunion and will be back next year for same . Looking forward to staying there .

Review 4:Cockroaches in the room Lizard in the room Bed bugs Blood stains on all pillows Mould Broken lights Rotten food scrap next to bed Dirt lining the point carpets meet walls The smell of urine

Review 5:The only thing I liked was leaving the key at reception and driving 4 hours away from the Hotel

Review 6:The room smelled a little, the Wi-Fi didn't work, the bathroom door swung the wrong way, the breakfast wasn't very good, and the AC took forever to cool the room.

Review 7:Location was good.

Review 8:Has the same name as the true Whitten, got confused in check in, shower is really short, wifi was not working , and the cleaning staff was at my door and 8 in the moring. Other then that is was a nice stay.

Review 32:front desk ... snarled at me room was totally delapidated .. tub had rusted chips .. flooring filthy .. bedding was old and had cig burns .. dust and grime everywhere .. terrible experience .. and i am a very tolerate guy ...

Review 33:zero .. i am pretty sure they stuck me in with the weekly rentals .. if i had spent 30.00 i would have accepted it .. but for the $68 i was a shame .. pitiful

Review 34:It is an old motel. There was cigarette holes in comforter. I asked for a smoking room but think the cigarette holes were a tad much. Furniture was very old and worn.

Review 35:It was a big room. Had an icebox and microwave. Pretty comfortable bed.

Review 36:The shampoo was pathetic. Bring your own.

Review 37:The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily. The facility was obviously older but every effort was made to establish a professional yet budget friendly inn. The breakfast was complimentary with the usual waffles, cereal, and sweet rolls.

Review 38:Poor maintenance. Door stuck (had to shoulder it open) for 3 days before fixed. Never told us about free breakfast or free wifi. Entire hotel was old and tired = furnishings, upkeep, etc. This was a convention hotel and NOTHING was planned by hotel for the attendees. Sink in bathroom behind door was hard to access. Would not return nor recommend.

Review 39:Convenient to Expo center. Roomy.

Review 40:You were charged extra fees for stuff that was worn out or not working when you checked in.(example... I was charged $15 each for towel they said were worn out and faded pink. The towel was only used to dry my face off and the other not sure what they were talking about. They need a check in sheet like apartments so a person can write down the stuff that wrong and take it back the day one check I'm so they won't be charged for previously worn and torn stuff.

Review 41:I liked the fact that it was conviently located close by Abilene Regional Airport.

Review 42:handicap friendly

Review 43:Hotel had bar attached which was frequented by biker's. There was a fight late at night in the parking lot outside our room.

Review 50:soak dispensers on the wall like a public restroom, even to use as shampoo.

Review 51:Smoking rooms available

Review 52:Needs remodeling. Bath room door falling apart.
