Review 1：These are nit-picky things that didn't disrupt our stay in the slightest: there are a couple of bulbs that need changing in the lounge and the bedroom; the milk supplied expired on the day we checked-in but, being unopened, was not wasted.
Review 2：I love the charming home-away-from-home feel and the relaxing country atmosphere that this cottage has. It was very conveniently located within a 5 mins walk in one direction to Mt Dandenong village (IGA, Wild Oak restaurant and cooking school, NAB atm, and Kelly's Bar and restaurant) and Olinda village in the other direction (pharmacy & ANZ atm, Olinda Cafe, Dudley's cafe). Brett and Melinda were very welcoming hosts.
Review 3：Everything is broken from the front door handle to the sliding door in the bathroom. Ruined our anniversary.The owner described the faults as 'quaint" we replied "broken not quaint".
Review 4：No so much "not liked" but found the door locking security a bit feeble, however trustworthy neighbors and a trustworthy neighborhood are somethings not everyone gets used to.

Review 10：One of the holland Blinds is loose and does not stay down. It was a bit disconcerting in the middle of a scary movie to have it spring up behind us but funny in hindsight

Review 12：There was a loud alarm clock set for 6.45am which was pretty irritating for a Sunday morning, scared the living daylights out of us as it was unexpected and annoying, so that was a shame.

Review 19：This is a fantastic cottage for those looking for a relaxing, rustic setting for a holiday. The thought that has gone into restoring the cottage (without over-restoring and turning it into a cliche) and installing comfortable facilities (without compromising the heritage value of the cottage) is evident. The grounds are also very good, creating a quiet and tranquil atmosphere. If I lived in Melbourne I would make this my regular holiday venue to de-stress.

The fireplace and spa were perfect as was the size- just perfect for a romantic weekend away. it is walking distance to shops and cafes as well as a lot to do close by. The cottage was presented beautifully- bed was super comfy. As well as a generous breakfast feast, the kitchenette also had extra bits like sauces, salt, pepper, curry powder etc. We will be back!
Review 38：The lock on the door was a bit of a trial, but renovations were in process to the complex so potentially this will be replaced and no longer an issue
Review 39：The cottage was well located, in walking distance between two villages. Although a basic old cottage, it was well appointed and provisioned. The bed was very comfortable, the spa and fireplace were lovely romantic features. There was more birdsong than traffic noise.
