Review 1：The ceilings were leaking in the hall near the pool entrance there were no "wet floor"signs. Paint was chipping off in the hot tub.The shower head was broke but worked on one setting.Staff was not friendly.The layout of the room was not very cozy.
Review 2：We Loved the beautiful views and being able to walk right out to the lake!The jacuzzi was nice.The Tv & remote worked great.The bed was clean and very comfortable.
Review 3：Went to breakfast and almost chomped down onto extremely moldy bagels. Luckily I noticed fur on the food but I think something like serving moldy food should be taken care of. I told reception and they were prompt to fix it and it didn't change my good opinion of the place but just a downside. Also some of the comforters were dirty and need to be washed between stays I think. No one wants to cuddle up under someone else's dirty/stained blankets!

Review 7：we got to our room and door was partially open and our back slider door was unlocked.the room wasn't as clean as expected there was coat of dust on heat/air unit.there was finger smear prints on top of coffee machine.there were dead smooshed bugs on wall all the mirrors were dirty there was toothpaste specks on sink faucet.water spots in shower vacuuming was skipped .there was cup or pop can ring on nightstand and there were 2 chemical cleaning bottles left hanging in our room on the rack.pillows looked fluffy but as soon as you laid on thewm they were very flat had to use 3 and there was no parking left when we got back from casino had to wait over 10 mins for eggs

Review 11：They did not tell us no handicap rooms had fireplaces even tho I had requested accessible room when I booked. The so called fireplace was a joke. It was just a picture of a fire, no heat or noise or anything. The breakfast was nothing special and you had to walk up a very steep hill to get to it. My husband could not make it with his legs and by the time I got it down to him it was cold. WIFI was out the whole time we were there and nobody seemed to give a darn. We left after 2nd night.

Review 15：In checking in, the young man was doing his job when a woman behind the desk kept trying to help which wasn't helpful. Parking when we got back at night was to park anywhere in the grass. At least there was someone from the desk telling everyone where to park. Not a good thing with the cold, snowy and sleety weather.

Review 17：I asked the front desk personnel three times to send someone up to clean the sticky child's fingerprints off the sliding glass door (that hadn't been cleaned before I arrived). It never got accomplished, even when housekeeping cleaned my room (WHICH I HAD TO BEG TO HAVE DONE). I think housekeeping vacuums the hallways once a week, and it didn't happen during my three-day visit. Though the location allows pets on the first floor only, there was a dog barking on the fourth floor outside my room.
Review 18：The property was obviously renovated this year, as their marquis advertised (new linens, furniture, fireplace, bathroom fixtures) and very pretty and comfortable. The location on the beach facing Mackinac Island was terrific, which was one of the main reasons I booked my reservation at this location.
Review 19：It's nothing really bad, it was no ice machine on the 3rd or 4th floors and the lobby was not in the hotel building.

Review 21：The building layout is strange with the lobby and breakfast area a long walk across the parking lot. The shower water temperature was not regulated well. Sudden change from almost scalding water to cold water made me step away for a few seconds before it got back to where I had set it. Internet speed was really slow. They need to beef that up. Need more outlets so we can charge our devices.

Review 26：We stayed in St. Ignace to participate in an event that had 2,000 people attending - the hotel was at full capacity and did a great job during the weekend. Ample parking for everyone as we all had trucks with trailers. They even adjusted the start time for Saturday breakfast to accommodate our early pick up time!

Room was clean and neat. The pool and hot tub area is large enough for bigger groups. Breakfast was good with a few hot items.
Review 33：It is an older place that was obviously riding on its laurels of past glory. The hotel has signs of neglect everywhere, from worn carpeting to the less than clean appearance of the bathroom. The air conditioner had a very loud rattling buzz.

A-C unit rattled all night and blew warm humid air half the time. Walls are paper thin and the beds were hard as a rock. And last but not least the mini fridge barely held a 12 pack and there was no microwave.

Being a family with young children, theres always a lot of stuff to bring while traveling. So we weren't able to use the bell hop cart beyond those stairs. Also, there wasn't a lot of staff around. Review 64：people went out to smoke at the decking by the water. There are no smoke receptacles for the butts, so they are laying all around. The trash can is right by the entrance door from the beach, which has bees and flies swarming around and is very smelly. There isn't anything to clean feet or shoes when coming off the beach, so sand comes into the hotel, and is in the elevator and stairs. The whole back "yard" is full of goose poop. I would not bring my grandchildren here.

Review 86：Pretty much everything! No sink in bathroom, had to go to dinette area, just to wash hands. Microwave is a joke, sitting on top of fridge, sliding around every time you use it. The freezer had so much ice in it you couldn't put anything in it. Had to unplug lamps, to plug in phone or computer. Bathroom was very stinky with a broken ceiling fan. Tried to relax in the pool hot tub with 8 unsupervised kids under the age of six, splashing and jumping in. Not very relaxing!! Oh, then there was the fire alarm at 1am. I had to call the front desk to let them know about it. People were waiting out in the parking lot in their pj's waiting for an "all clear", which never came. I called later and was told, (with a laugh) it was just kids messing around. Really at 1am? My trip to the island was tainted by a phone call from hotel staff telling me my credit card had been declined, so I worried about that all day. Turns out the clerk put the wrong number in the computer.I've had better experiences at Motel 6.

There's a pool but you're asked to use the gym next door @ the Holiday Inn.

Review 110：Beach was 'ok'. If grass could be removed for more sandy area along lake side would be very nice Lots of bird droppings. Nothing hotel can do about it but be sure to wear shoes! The gentleman that took care of our room was friendly and attentive to our request for towels, etc.location was easy on and off.
