Review 1：The motel advertised to have WIFI; however, their wifi didn't work. The connection was very week and kept dropping every other minute. Also, we could only get connection in the bedroom closer to the office, but not in the room with ocean view. This motel also provides minimal services. It only provides two soap bars, no shampoo, no tea, 1 bag of coffee for 4 people. The room is clean enough, but a lot of old motel smell. The room also has no phone. If you only care about the view, but nothing else, then it's ok.

Review 3：Bed frame broke on day 3 of 7 and was never fixed even though we were told it would be replaced by day 4. Room needed to be thoroughly cleaned, carpet was disgustingly filthy. It was claimed to be a no smoking no pet facility but our neighbor had three dogs and was smoking in the room often.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is literally one step from the beach and is a long the Seaside boardwalk right nxt to the aquarium.Within walking distance to town, food, stores. Hotel sells firewood for beach fires. Place was clean, lots of towels, soaps, etc. Hotel is outdated. The two bedroom was spacious. The cottages are quint. It was labor day weekend not too loud. Gonna book for nxt year!

Review 47：The place is old and rundown. When I booked this place on line Ididn't realize it was the same dump I stayed in 16 yrs ago. It wasold then, and not much has changed, that I can tell. It seemsunderstaffed, because the manager is constantly running around likecrazy. She seems overworked and just a bit put-out if you ask her forsomething. The ice bucket is just a small plastic container without atop. The bottom 'fitted' bed sheet is not fitted. Just a sheet.The shower curtain is so skinny and old it doesn't spread across theshower opening. No complimentry shampoo. It's just old.
Review 48：The location is probably the best part. All rooms have an ocean view.Also, the price, compared to all of the newer hotels in the area. And,it has a parking lot, which is free. The refrigerator is pretty big andthey do have a microwave. Plenty of hot water for one person in theroom. Flat screen tv w/plenty of channels. Sound is limited, though.Maybe to keep noise down.

Review 59：The service we received was terrible. We were not given a check-in time so we had to wait 20 min for our room to be cleaned. The room smelt like it had been smoked in which gave me a migraine. The parking is the worst, I was lucky to find a parking spot but 99% of the time the parking lot was full. Not to mention tiny. All around a bad experience. Not worth the money.

Review 76：We had a big mix up with booking.com it showed we had booked s room fortwo nights. I got two confirmation emails from booking.com even. When wearrived she didn't show we had any reservation at all! We wereterrified we wouldn't have a place to stay. She looked on heraccount for booking.com and it showed we had booked it just never madeit over to her end. She called several hotels to try and find us a roomand they were all full. She made one last ditch effort to a hotel sheknew kept an emergency room available and was able to get us a room.This room was 140 dollars more than we had planned to stay. She handedus some cash and apologized up and down. She said she had a room thenext night available for our two night stay and to just bring her thechange when we checked in the next day. She paid the cash difference forthis room, trusted us with her money, and was so nice to us. We willdefinitely be back!

Review 89：The location is amazing! They even sold us a box with everything you need for a fire, on the beach, for $5. There were whales not too far off shore rolling in the waves at sunset. We stayed in unit 9. It reminded me of a very old and quaint apartment from years past. No hide-a-bed, very comfortable queen bed in living room and separate bedroom with another queen. Full kitchen with plates,etc. The placement of this unit gives you a view of the beach from your livingroom! Free parking and easy walk to downtown.

Review 91：Location is excellent, right on th beach and close to the centre of town. You can walk everywhere and you don't need to use a car. Staff is friendly and flexible. The view from the room is spectacular. Even though this motel is older style, you have everything you need and everything is kept clean. There are some modern upgrades like flat screen TV and bathroom fixtures. All in all good value and would come again.

Review 94：checkin is supposed to start at 3 and they didn't start it until 4 so we had to stand in line for an hour. also i had called ahead to make sure there was wifi because there was a specific reason I would need it and it never worked the entire time I was there, the motel manager called a person to come fix it and he came and left without fixing it and I never heard anything untill the next morning when I was leaving he came with a huge paper about what was wrong. I was disappointed with the service and the attitude towards me as the customer, and I never got any wifi.

Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Cable and WiFi. The gal who either owns or manages the place was super sweet and accommodating. We came down last December and stayed at the comfort in. Ocean Front motel did cartwheels around the generic comfort inn. So what if the Comfort Inn has a free breakfast? We shopped at Safeway, loaded up our mini fridge with healthy easy snacks and water. We bought a candle to mellow out the "older" smell of the room, which wasn't horrible, I just like candles period. We also brought along our own coffee and used paper towels for filters. You'll need to bring your blow dryer and shampoo/conditioner. I will definitely come back and stay at the Old School Ocean Front Motel!

Review 125：Super friendly and helpful lady at the front desk. The motel has a good old-fashion vibe about it. We even had actual real keys for the door! The view from the room was amazing, and we were right on the beach. I also liked the noon check out time. It gave us some extra time to relax in the morning.
