Reviews for Drury Inn & Suites Flagstaff
Review 1:I wouldn't call it a bad experience, but I will say the following items need to be considered by travelers. 1. Limited number of towels in room 2. Bath towels are small in size 3. Towels are rough in texture. 4. Limited supply of toiletries in room 5. Food quality at happy hour is fair 6. Food quality at breakfast is fair 6. Cost is on the high side. ,
Review 2:1. Comfortable suite 2. Comfortable beds 3. Ample parking 4. Pet friendly 5. Free WiFi 6 Clean facility throughout 7. Friendly staff
Review 3:Dirty carpets in hallway. The pillows are tiny and by the second night they we lumpy and flat.
Review 4:Clean room, spacious bathroom, very friendly staff from check-in to bartender to housekeeping. The breakfast and dinner was tasty with many different choices.
Review 5:The powdered eggs that are served for breakfast, to watery, but yes i do understand the convenience of those eggs for a buffet style breakfast. That's the only thing I would say anything about.
Review 6:The Inn is located in midtown, convenient and close to all things one would need, if needed. Indoor pool definitely a plus no matter the weather, snowed on my trip. Also went to Bearizona drive thru wild lfe park, also a plus, great day.
Review 7:The evening reception is not really the quality of an Embassy Suites. Liquor comes from a gun rather than a bottle, drink choices are limited to the few posted on a sign rather than what a true bartender would offer, food was bland. The setting for breakfast and evening reception was less homey than what has been experienced at Embassy Suites as well.
Review 8:Location is great. Easy walk home from downtown nightlife. Seems great for families with breakfast included and hotdogs/chicken fingers included at night. That alone would make the stay much more affordable if traveling with children. Management did a good job getting involved doing whatever was necessary during breakfast and the evening reception to keep lines moving.
Review 9:I booked 2 rooms for our family of 8. I called the hotel to confirm the rooms would be near each other. When we checked into the hotel, the rooms were on 2 different floors! When I questioned the staff, and reminded them I had called that morning to confirm the location of the rooms, I was told there was nothing that could be done. Having the rooms so far apart completely changed the dynamics for our "family" vacation... it was very disappointing. I also think the rooms are over priced.
Review 10:The staff was so nice. I was traveling with a group needing around 20 rooms - most of the guests were students, and the staff was so accommodating to us.
Review 11:Nothing too bad to mention
Review 12:free dinner and breakfast, and popcorn in the lobby and 3 free alcoholic beverages . HBO channels, parking garage, size of room.
Review 13:Bathroom was too dark, due to no ceiling light;; reported it twice; the first time bulb was replaced, but it immediately blew out again and I reported it a second time, but was never taken care of. Light is important in bathroom for me where I get redi using mirror (face, hair). Shower was too dark; so light issue was a big problem.
Review 14:Convenient stay to attend mtgs at Conf Ctr; Cont'l Brkfst was hlpful to avoid run around. Overall stay was comfortable.
Review 15:2 day stay. Out on second day from 10am till 3pm and room was uncleaned upon return. Housekeeping came at 4pm. One drawer of dresser wouldn't open.
Review 16:Free breakfast and 5:30 snacks and drinks. Location. Room size and complimentary toiletries. Attentive table busing during free meals.
Review 17:Excellent location for NAU tour; excellent amenities for adults and 18 year olds; most helpful staff I've ever encountered at a hotel; the best happy hour foods and breakfasts I've been offered in many years. This is THE place to stay in Flagstaff.
Review 18:Indoor pool was a little cold and towels very thin.
Review 19:The free drinks and food at night and the breakfast. Refreshing surprise at a hotel these days. Very friendly staff.
Review 20:nothing
Review 21:Location very close to the downtown, covered parking with direct access to the hotel, free and easy wifi. Don't miss awesome Macy's Coffee House at 14 S Beaver St (6am-20pm) for excellent coffee, cakes or lunch (just 5 min warking from the hotel).
Review 22:Street noise though soft was still audible at night. I had to search for something to put here because everything was fantastic.
Review 23:Location was awesome with a spectacular view of the snow-capped mountains.
Review 24:Nothing I recall
Review 25:Room and facilities were comfortable. Lots of electrical outlets, commode high which is important to old men like me. Breakfast & evening snack very convenient, went every dao.
Review 26:This hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved it. And it was reasonably priced too. The staff were lovely, the room was huge and the breakfast tasty.
Review 27:The staff and Manager were very kind and helpful. My daughter became ill during our stay and they extended our room for another night with no hassle. When I needed to borrow a tea cup the manager went out of his way to find me one! Great Service!
Review 28:The kids loved having popcorn. We all enjoyed the pool/spa. The breakfast was the best of our trip. We would stay at this hotel any time we were in Flagstaff!
Review 29:Great parking deck and covered hall to hotel but a long walk. I use a cane, the door to the hotel was hard to open with luggage.
Review 30:Close to campus. Easy parking. Clean
Review 31:We love the location. So close to everything we like to do in Flagstaff. Can park the car and walk everywhere. Staff are friendly and professional. Rooms are nice. Breakfast and happy hour spread is wonderful!
Review 32:Maid service was not to par. Did not receive extra towles when asked multiple times. Did not vacuum under the sofa sleeper; bed left out and not made.
Review 33:Freindly front desk and kitchen employees!
Review 34:The only thing I didn't like was that dogs were allowed in the dining area at breakfast. I don't mind dogs at the hotel, but they should all be on one floor. We were on the 6th floor and there was a dog barking when left by the owners.
Review 35:The free popcorn was a fun freeby in the afternoon. The rooms were roomy and clean. Staff was great.
Review 36:What we liked about the Drury. That you are a pet friendly hotel. The breakfast is wonderful, popcorn and fountain drinks in the evening along with the happy hour food.
Review 37:Plastic & styrene cups only in rooms, no dishware in suites. No eggs for breakfast 3 mornings in a row. I know they are expensive right now. but it is pretty much expected for breakfast. Elevators small with only 2 available.
Review 38:Lobby & Lounge areas with TVs & popcorn. Suite room was nice size & comfortable. Breakfast options were good other than absence of eggs.
Review 39:We ordered pizza for delivery. The delivery man was allowed to come up to room I would have preferred a call from the desk , so I could meet him in lobby. As a single woman traveling with a teenage girl that was uncomfortable for us. Next time I will alert the desk staff of a delivery and ask to be called down, also I will not give room # to restaurant and will alert them to stop in the lobby Thanks
Review 40:Location to NAU campus, friendliness of staff, Manager walking around speaking to everyone very nice, comfort of room and bed. Free WiFi and the parking garage very convenient, plenty of towels much appreciated
Review 41:Staff was wonderful! ! Cait had us checked in very quickly and was very helpful suggesting restaurants and getting a cab for us! Room and bed were very comfortable! Was very pleased with the full free breakfast! We will be going back in August! !
Review 42:I left my clothes by accident but called the next day and the staff found them and r sending them UPS...but im not upset anymore:)
Review 43:The breakfast and dinner was very good and front desk staff were very nice to talk to
Review 44:Can't think of anything.
Review 45:The staff was unbelievably great! Very helpful in every aspect. Happy hour and breakfast made this a tremendous value for such a nice place.
Review 46:Breakfast was good but not excellent. Muffins were rather small. Small selection of fresh fruit (only apples and bannanas).
Review 47:The facility was comfortable and home-like. The staff was extremely hospitable and accommodating. Location was perfect.
Review 48:Temp controls in room resulted in poor nights sleep breakfast and afternoon snack food were of unacceptable quality. Had to go out for breakfast.
Review 49:location, staff very courteous
Review 50:The ONLY thing that might deter us from booking again was the pillows. They were like little nuggets and neither of us could sleep well. We wish the hotel would invest in appropriate pillows.
Review 51:Loved the location, the staff and the amenities such as the "kickback". The room was very nice and I loved the taste in décor. So, so great!
Review 52:lack of seating for dining, owing to high traffic entrance into dining area - lack of comfort due to high traffic entrance into dining area - outside door blew in cold air into dining area
Review 53:offer of free room upgrade free parking off site free WIFI was good
Review 54:The hallways, sky bridge and such could use a little more attention to cleanliness. They aren't filthy, but could be cleaner.
Review 55:Every staff member we interacted with was Awesome!! They were very helpful, fun and seemed to care. If you plan to eat breakfast and dinner at the hotel, you will get more value for your money. The "happy hour" had Great food and the breakfast was good as well!! And the popcorn smells Great!!! We will be returning!!! Thanks for a Great stay!!
Review 56:The rooms were clean and modern but all of us (myself, wife and 2 young kids) found the beds to be a little uncomfortable.
Review 57:One of the nicest & newest hotels In Flagstaff. Great location by the north end of campus on Milton, walking distance to downtown.
Review 58:Second-floor lounge area could use a thorough cleaning. I spent a few hours jamming on my laptop at one of the tables near the elevator and was pretty grossed out by the beverage stains that look like they've been amassing on the walls for years.
Review 59:Pet-friendly, within walking distance of downtown. Free drinks and food with stay.
Review 60:Dated furnishings. Too easy for cats to get stuck under beds and lazy boy chairs.
Review 61:Hotel has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Good location in Flagstaff. Friendly staff. Pet-friendly. Free Wi-Fi.
Review 62:The room was too warm and adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to have an effect so we kept the window open (it was December)
Review 63:They have a very reasonable pet policy (just a $10 cleaning fee), the breakfast was pretty good, it's very close to NAU and downtown Flagstaff, friendly staff
Review 64:The pillows were a little too big but still slept fine. We plan to stay again in the future and may bring my own pillow. Also, it would be nice to have a diaper changing table in the public restroom on the first floor.
Review 65:We could walk to Macy's coffee shop and to Lumberyard Brewery as well as many other places. Also, we noticed there is a grocery store within walking distance. The view from our room was wonderful of the mountains too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the front desk to those working in the breakfast area. Parking is convenient especially when they have the bridge walkway on level 2 from the parking garage. Also, they had a small refrigerator and microwave in the room we stayed in. These were nice little extras that we were not expecting.
Review 66:More expensive than others but the comfort was worth the extra $.
Review 67:Close to everything! Clean, big rooms, happy hour and breakfast. Almost felt like home.
Review 68:Cocktail hour with enough food for dinner. Food was terrible. All though free, next time I would walk across the street to the restaraunt.
Review 69:Clean large room. Hot breakfast. Friendly staff
Review 70:Having to make up the 3rd adult bed when I had paid for a 3rd adult, and the fact the price was not competitive with other local hotels of the same quality.
Review 71:Beds were comfy and rooms clean. Reception staff friendly on arrival. Location.
Review 72:Drury Inn and Suites was recommended by a friend and I am happy I listened to her. I will definitely stay at this location again and any others. The rooms are spacious and the ammenities are great!!! From the "happy hour" in the evenings and the breakfast in the morning!!!
Review 73:Impersonal Undercover parking in adjacent building, a distance from room. Past its best. Not good value for money.
Review 74:Large room Fairly close to town centre
Review 75:Nothing to dislike.
Review 76:The location is great, with easy walking access to the beautiful NAU campus, as well as nice places to eat (especially the Coppa Cafe). The young lady at the front desk was cheerful and very helpful.
Review 77:Nothing
Review 78:Friendly staff. Dog friendly propert with plenty of places to walk the dogs, cleanup bags provided. Large, clean rooms were attractively decorated. Free high speed internet. Free hot breakfast.
Review 79:Some of the front desk staff were more willing to help than others. When asking for suggestions and directions, one employee spoke to me as if I already knew the area. Upon further questioning/clarification she gave a lot of attitude as if I was bothering her.
Review 80:The hotel was within walking distance to practically all shops and restaurants. The staff was generally friendly. The room was clean and they accommodated special requests for allergies. I was very pleased with the breakfast, popcorn, and happy hour amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
Review 81:Awkward entrance for vehicle, parking can be an issue and better mattresses and pillows.
Review 82:Evening wind down with adult beverages and lite food fare. Popcorn machine and cold sodas, and nice hot breakfast, all included in the price of your room. Also pet friendly which we were not aware of previously. Walking distance to historic downtown.
Review 83:Both beds were made when we walked in looked great until you sat on them to notice all the dog hair and spots that looked like the prior guest had given the dog treats and the dog ate them on the bed and pillows. Few piles of dog hair in the room and the bathroom had not been cleaned either.
Review 84:Staff was great, they were quick to work on the issue, perfect location, parking is perfect!
Review 85:Cheap pre-made breakfast and kick-back...being a healthy person you would hate the selections because the kitchen is not a full kitchen!! As the manager told me "we don't crack an egg" everything is canned, frozen, microwaved and processed!! Why because it's a self-service hotel. Another thing I didn't like is the discrepancy in the reservation prices between Booking.com and the hotel's check-out total fee! When I asked the manager who's fault is that he said it was the site's fault for miscalculating the taxes. Flagstaff is a wonderful town but I feel that the hotels are not up to my personal expectations. If you don't mind the can-to-microwave kind of food then this hotel is for you. I'd rather book in another hotel for the same price to recieve a better quality for breakfast and dinner.
Review 86:Free wifi Location Comfy beds Nice reception
Review 87:When we got into the room and put all of our stuff away, i noticed on the floor there was a little pile of dog hair..ok nasty but what ever i knew it was a pet friendly hotel. Went to lay on the bed and i look at the sheets to find a bunch of black dog hair ALONG with stains on the sheets!!!! I go look at the other bed and sure enough more dog hair and more STAINS even on the pillow cases!!! It looked like the dog was eating a bone or some kind of treat on the bed. Keep in mind BOTH beds were made to perfection. Pillows stacked nicely comforter in its place perfectly folded. After they left we started taking showers and guess what was on the floor, more hair and you could see the foot prints of the last guest. I am pretty sure the person who was assigned to cleaned the room was in a hurry and figured nobody would notice. WRONG!!!!
Review 88:My family and i had been out hiking all day, we were all tired and just wanted to take a shower and a nap before dinner. I went to the front desk to see if we could check in an hour early (2pm) and the lady at the front desk was very nice and allowed us to get our room early. When i called about the beds they were very friendly and did have somebody come change sheets on both beds and offered to move rooms which if we had not already unpacked i would have taken her up on the offer. We have stayed here before and i will say the last time was wonderful!!! So close to down town which is great if you know the traffic situation.
Review 89:Slow elevators! We love dogs, but not crazy about dogs in rooms or possibly a bed that we slept in. We wanted a "real" breakfast, so went to a fabulous restaurant in Old Town Flagstaff, instead of the free hotel buffet.
Review 90:Got a nice upgrade for free with Balcony because our reservations were mixed up. This was our final night from a 2 week vacation visiting six states. We have stayed at this hotel several times and we keep coming back.
Review 91:Nothing, would stay again.
Review 92:A welcoming clean comfortable establishment. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Husband enjoyed the popcorn machine in the lobby. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold choices. The Managers reception in the evening was a surprise, so much food that we did not need to go out for dinner. Highly recommend this particular accommodation.
Review 93:Trying to get on the main road in Flagstaff. Right next door to a College.
Review 94:Great breakfast bar and evening food with plenty of selection. Air conditioning very quiet. Close to Target and Walmart and Walgreen's
Review 95:Loud and slow elevators.
Review 96:Spacious room.
Review 97:Inside was outdated and dirty.
Review 98:Outside grounds and building.
Review 99:We had a very slight problem with our room but when it was brought to the attention of the staff, it was immediately rectified.
Review 100:The staff was great! Very attentive to our needs! The room not only included free breakfast, we got free cocktails AND dinner! It was fantastic!

Review 116:comfortable bed, good breakfast
Review 117:Personnel at check in very nice and informative. Manager very nice and friendly

Review 119:it was great all around!
Review 120:No towel rack by shower

Review 123:Excellent staff
Review 124:None
Review 125:Staff were very nice, the kick back every evening was great. These hotels could teach others a thing or two about value for money.
Review 126:Room was a bit small for 4 people.... Beds were not Queen Size
Review 127:Very Clean Great Location Pet Friendly Great Breakfast
Review 128:The rooms are dated and ditry
