Review 1：A friendly hotel. The dinner menu was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff helpful. I had asked for a room on the back away from the road and although we we were initially shown to a room on the front this was changed when I pointed this out.

Review 2：Expensive drink (Baileys) from the hotel bar for a very small quantity.

Review 3：The hotel proximity to the village (La Roche). Good breakfast buffet (not huge, but enough). Friendliness of staff.

Review 4：The twin bed is not that comfortable, go for a double bed (if available-since this is a highly preferred property).

Review 6：The reception staff were friendly and helpful, but the serving staff were discreet to the point of disappearance, which made ordering anything a bit of a chore. In bad weather, and with only racing bikes as transport, we chose to eat at the hotel instead of going into town. But it probably was a wrong choice for us, because we needed filling, simple food rather than the more gastronomic fare on offer here. Taxi next time.

Review 7：Warm, comfortable hotel at the end of a long, cold, tiring day. Beautiful riverside location, nice old building with modern extensions. Locked our bikes in a secure storage room, accessible from inside the hotel.

Review 8：No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities within room. We did ask but they told us they didn't have one!? Dinner was also very expensive and no vegan friendly option (though there was soya milk for breakfast! Which was amazing)

Review 40：Renovation of rooms has become necessary. The bath tub in our room unfortunately had no shower curtain, which made taking a shower some of a problem.

Review 42：I have to say that overall excellent impression was a bit damaged by more than poor status of the mattresses - I think it is in the interest of the owners to have them changed without delay. One night one can still afford to sleep on them, but it is a disgrace
