Hotel Garden sells fast on our site. The Grand Hotel Garden is 800 feet from Malmö’s main square, Stortorget, and about a 5-minute walk from the Central Train Station. It includes free Wi-Fi, gym and sauna access and a rooftop garden.
All guest rooms include a cable TV, a work desk and ironing facilities. Some also have a sitting area with a sofa.
In addition to free sauna access, the Grand Hotel Garden provides free entry to the Forum Fitness Centre, located across from the hotel. After working out, guests can relax in the charming rooftop garden, surrounded by fruit trees and herbs.

Review 1：Smell (smoke) of the room. Holes on the wall. Construction noises - so loud I could not stay in the room during the day.

Review 3：The hotel should offer free parking to guests. In this part of Malmö, weekday parking charges per 24 hours are around 200kr. This should be factored in when working out a 'good deal' versus a rival hotel offering free parking.

Review 16：For a hotel of this category the bathroom was an impertinence - ugly smell, leaky bathtub with wide open gaps to walls so that bathroom was flooded each time when taking a shower and no ventilation at all. Older and worn out room with dirty carpet. TV did not work and had to be fixed by service team.

Review 24：Because of the building structure, some of the rooms are way far from the elevators. It took me a lot of time to drag my luggage to walk through the corridor. The WIFI connection can be tricky in some rooms. (I stayed there three times)

Review 33：Very good hotel right in the center of Malmö. 5 minutes of slow walking from the train station were the train to Copenhagen stops and 2-3 minutes from the main squares. A good view on the Saint Petri Kirke. A shopping street is right there, many shops and places for eat and drink around. Very good and clean rooms with garden view, but the rooms are not so large and there is no much space for your stuff. But the bed is very big and really comfortable! Also excellent breakfasts with a lot of tasty local food as well as traditional breakfast things. Many different seasonal fruits also served.

Review 47：This was my sixth stay at this hotel in the past two years. I have tried quite a few in central Malmö. This is the best reasonably priced one I have found on all counts. So I keep coming back. The single rooms are small but adequate. The single bed is 1.40 m. Unlike in most Swedish hotels nowadays, the mattress is not hideously soft, which is a major plus. And, unlike at least three other hotels in central Malmö I could name but won't, this hotel does not smell of drains, which is a huge plus.

Review 48：The hotel needed some tlc. The bath moved when you stood in it and the panel was hanging off and rusty. The rooms were 3 star but the reception and lobby were 4 star.

We entered and it was not done up and a suitcase was standing in the room - it looked still lived in - I was amazed at how the staff just gave us a new key but didn't really apologise, after all there could have been someone in the room. Not good to not know which rooms are ready and because of this I wasn't convinced about how clean the place was. Think the staff should have been much more sorry!

Review 77：Staff service is like light in the dark. Without that you see nothing you like nothing in the dark. So is the staff of this hotel. A friend of mine who booked for me was very disappointed by the staff. He told me that he had had 39 email exchange to establish and confirm my stay. One week before arrival he told me that I should pay upon arrival. Fine, then I went to my local exchange office and exchanged Euro to their local money for payment. Unfortunately three days before arrival my friend told me not to pay upon arrival because hotel has charged my stay to his credit card. Really strange staff. Not recommended at all.

Review 78：I have exchanged 26 emails with staff and 13 emails with booking customer service for this reservation. Very brief summary as below: I have booked one month in advance 2 rooms for two friends of mine. I booked for immediate payment. Payment was not charged because they/staff needed copy of my credit card via email. They said I was not trusted customer. I wonder why should i trust them and send my cc copy via e-mail. So i did not send it but I told them that they have my cc info on the booking system.... emails, bla bla bla, emails....then I sent an email to BC customer service. They/staff of hotel had agreed with BC customer service that I (my friends) would pay upon arrival...oh god relieved.....but no, soon after they charge money for one room....emails...contact BC customer service again...then they said ok we charged for one room the other one will pay upon arrival...fine, good.... 3 days before arrival at the hotel an email was sent from my bank I have been charged from grand garden hotel another sum of money... Jesus Christ how do these guys work in here??? I wont take your time any longer but I have 39 email exchange to ensure these reservations, and at the end there was nothing as bad as I expected but, there was everything worst than i expected with this hotel and its staff.

Review 80：Located a short walk from Studentgatan flygbuss stop, decently priced for Sweden, staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was open until 10 during weekdays and 11 during weekends, which is perfect for party people. Room was clean, and cleaning staff was very efficient.

Review 134：Delightful to return to this beautiful hotel for a couple of nights. I knew it would be my first choice when visiting Malmo. The facilities are fabulous and comfortable. My main reason for selecting this hotel again is the charmingly professional and delightful Staff. They really make the stay most memorable. As for location? Excellent. A ten minute stroll from Malmo Central. I WILL be back.
