Review 1：When we checked in our room was not ready at 14:00 so we had to wait for a while.

Review 2：Spa facilities were very good. Nice outdoor pool with hot water. Food was excellent. Stuff was very friendly. Hotel was very clean and classy.

Review 5：Rooms are poorly furnished, i can say cheap the least. There was cigarete smoke sting comming from the ventilator in the bathroom , imposible to enter half the time ! Breakfast was OK, nothing special though, i asked for eggs to be prepared separately for me it took 15 minutes for the staff to figuire that out.

Review 10：I did not like the fact that I gave a shirt for laundry and told the receptionist to tell the other from the laundry staff that I want the shirt to be ready for 19:30h. At 20:00h I had to call to the reception to ask them where is my shirt and then they gave it to me in my room at 20:15 but I was already late for my dinner reservation.

Review 11：The spa center is amazing! The deluxe room in the renovated part of the hotel in witch we stayed was extraordinary good furnished with great bathroom and very large sizes. I just loved it!

Review 16：We were in an apartment, section A – and there was no adequate air-condition. The day was hot and it was oppressively stifling inside. Obviously this is a well known problem – because an additional air-condition is installed into the bedroom. When complaining at reception – we were advised to live the door of the bedroom opened – so the living room could get cooler too…. The same was the situation in our friend’s apartment… The bathroom in that A section is inconvenient – it’s more a wet room, than a bathroom – there is no proper shower cabin, and when taking a shower, everywhere gets very wet… Very hot and stifling was in the restaurant as well, which it seems is designed for economical, value for money all inclusive….I think that the hotel deserves a proper restaurant with a good air-condition.

Review 17：The spa at the hotel is excellent. I like the fact that there are number of pools. The quality of the massage is excellent. The Pulse fitness is good too.

Review 18：That i should pay for my child additional cost of 15 Euro per day, and that was not included in my booking reservation. What a surprise. I thing if i made reservation with booking and describe exactly how many pepole are we and the age of my child, everything i have to pay, should be included in the price of booking reservation form.

Review 21：Everything was perfect, but due to occurred storm, some saunas and jacuzzi (almost all) were stopped, and there was nothing to do, but we understnad, that it was unordinary case. But of course that SPA is the best spa in Velingrad.

The room was not well organized - fridge is in the sleeping room, couch and wardrobe in the living room were too close to the door of the sleeping room making it difficult to enter with large suitcase. There was no balcony, and no good view from our room. Doors in our room were unable to close.

Review 24：We stayed at Royal Spa Velingrad on 02nd February 2015 for 1 night. Despite the negative outcome received from our friends who cancelled their stay a few days earlier we decided to visit the hotel as planned. On the arrival we witnessed a dispute between customers and receptionist about the unacceptable apartment’s condition. Those customers left the hotel as well. We checked-in and were escorted to our room in a quite long walk. It was a big disappointment when we opened the door and saw that the room had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Just to mention that our reservation was made at least 2 weeks ago. We went back to the reception desk and we had to wait in the Lobby until the room was ready. Our second attempt was successful, but now we noticed that the additional bed we asked for was not prepared so we called the house keeping again. The room had a cheaper appearance, moreover, it was not finished with cables stuck out and low ceilings like a basement. The SPA was far away from the room and we had to cross the Lobby to access it. It was big, but compared to other Victoria SPAs we found it basic. The water was not hot enough. The only thing that was o.k. was the breakfast. At check-out there was no option to pay by credit card and we were asked for cash payment. As a summary this was a big disappointment for us and the service was suitable for 3star hotel at most. There are lots of better SPA hotels which are also not overpriced like this one. This is a real tourist trap.

Review 30：Furniture is a little bit cheap for this class hotel. Many items from IKEA. There was no view from our room. The air in the room was humid and need to keep window open during all time. There is no free consummation in the restaurant, just prepaid buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Common areas like gaming rooms were closed to the guests due to a small conference of 30 people. They were given reserved tables in the buffet restaurant and that limited the service and room for the hotel's guests. The Spa center was not properly maintained. There were no salts in the salt sauna for at least 2 days. It seems that the hotel needs better management and overall training of the staff.

Review 40：I made a reservation 5 days earlier and it was confirmed. On my arrival they offerred me a room that has nothing to do with the one I had reserved. No balcony, a standart room, instead of a luxury one, plastic coffee spoons ot the floor, no sitting area... the staff was unfriendly, even unkind. I asked them for another room, it turned out they did not have any options, according to my request. No excuses at all... No restaurant a la carte....only smorgasbord....awful smell in the lobbies and hallways...

Review 70：New and clean hotel.The spa center is really big and the pools also.In the summer the swimming pool in the garden will be open.Thats why we are plannig to visit Royal Spa in the near future.The location is fantastic,just neht to the forest. i can say that the quality of the food is very good and the variety is huge.I reccommend it also for people with children.There is a room with different electronic games and another place for children beteween 3-6 years.

We booked a double room which was massive and had fantastic facilities and furniture and also a balcony pointing to the city. The Spa is absolutely fabulous. So many saunas, "relax" rooms, and variety of swimming pools... very good gim. Fantastic massages, some innovative.Very good hotel and service.It really worth it.
