Review 1：No personnel after 6 pm. No light in corridors, poor functioning automatic light switches. No shower curtain, only hand shower. Very small, uncomfortable room.'140 different beers. bar' less pretty than described on website. Hard bed with very uncomfortable cushions. Small timeslot for breakfast.

Review 15：The hotel is very clean and in a quite location with easy access to main roads. The rooms are simple and clean and the owners are very nice people. Would recommend and will stay again

Review 19：We arrived just before midnight without previous notice and the hotelemployee got out of her bed to open the already locked door. We wereimpressed. The hotel is very close to Knokke and Bruges. The location isbeautiful near the Damme canal.The road from Knokke leading to Brussels is very close .This although being disadvantageous because of the noise, especially in the garden, makes it easy to reach the hotel.

Review 21：A great little hotel for cycling in the Begian country side, good value pasta type foods. If you want more up market type food there are plenty of local eating places

Review 22：The room we had was small, bathroom only had bath with shower attachment, but no shower screen or curtain, not good in this day and age. The toilet paper dispenser was dificult to use resulting in more paper being shredded than used, whats wrong with a normal toilet roll, this would be much better.Large clear glass window in bedroom with no net curtains O.K. on upper floors but necessary on the ground floor.

Review 23：Hotel was clean, exterior gardens were kept immaculate. Breakfast was not the usual buffet style but each table was equipped with the usual continental style food, which was good. Handy to get to Damme and coast resorts.Thought that the hotel would have a proper restaurant but only served snacks.

Review 24：We booked a triple room for our stay. Clearly the room was not made for three beds. The room was functional but a bit dated. The Hotel Welkom wasn't very welcoming.

Bicycle storage shed under cover and securely locked. Sociable bar area with outside terrace for drinks and food. Owners very helpful with local cycling maps and information. Very hot water for bath/shower at all times. Excellent full selection for breakfast at your own table.
