Review 1：The Mansion is wonderful - very comfortable and exceptionally clean, plus close to town. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. I will definitely recommend the Lord Mansion to all my friends and family and will stay there again.
Review 2：The location was perfect...no need to use the car during our stay. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and impeccably kept. It was very enjoyable to just sit, read a book, or have a glass of wine. Our room was charming and luxurious. Breakfast and afternoon snacks were delicious. The staff was accommodating and provided for any guest needs. Bikes were available for use during our stay.
Review 3：Only think I didn't like was that you had to pick a specific time for breakfast (8:15 or 9::45)...I just don't know how early I'm going to want to get up when on vacation so it's hard to choose. And if you don't choose then you loose. Nothing is left out for breakfast. They do leave snacks out at other times during the day though.
Review 4：Very nice b&b...good breakfast, comfy bed and nice room. You couldn't hear anyone else unless they were in the hallway. No kids allowed (I don't think) so it's the perfect place for a romantic getaway.

Review 6：I liked the central location...being greeted upon arrival by staff...Savine's grand tour of the house...beautiful antique furnishings in stunning rooms...country house atmosphere...meeting other guests before a roaring fire...bathroom with heated marble floor and rain head shower with four jet sprays... a coffee nook...a huge kitchen with home baked cookies, cheese, crackers, ice tea, popcorn...a chocolate liqueur in the evening...wonderful multi-course cooked breakfast served family style. The Captain Lord Mansion is a very welcoming place and I would gladly stay there again.
