Review 1：the room wall was dirty and the value of money is not matching the facilities and cleaness . the room was very cold because the hotel was closed for three days!!!

Review 2：The room and everything in and around it. Small table ironboard, seriously leaking shower box (the whole bathroam got soaking wet), bed to close to the wardrobe, so you can't get your suit in and out in a normal way. Nice music set in the room, but it didn't work. No airco and the window opened to the inside of the hotel, so no cooling possibilities. etc.

Review 19：Location is perfect, just two steps from the two main squares. Very elegant hotel, good design everywhere, notably liked the large dining room with glass ceiling. My room - actually a studio - was very, very good, on the top floor. Quiet. Excellent bed, large bathroom. Everything very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed very much my stay and can only recommend.

Review 20：In the beginning the baby crib wasn't in the room. The man at the front desk wasn't pleased to go and get the crib. He only wanted to go and get the bed if we noted it as a comment in our reservation on booking.com. Not good for a first impression in a hotel. Luckely the other lady at the reception was very helpfull and insisted on arraging everything.

Review 21：Great breakfast, lot of choice, fresh. A cook baked the eggs in front of us. Great bed, a big room! We have a 5 month old baby, we had a baby crib, a buggy, a maxi cosi,.. And still plenty of space to move around! Never seen this!

The hotel itself had character and was a refreshing change from the usual business hotel experience. Cant fault the hotel or its staff. Very impressed. Poor sleep rating was not the fault of the hotel or the room which were as near perfect as I have experienced on a business trip anywhere in the world.

Unfortunately noise from the kitchens started about 3.45am with taps being turned on (noise like kettles being filled), tables being set, staff chatting. I was woken up by the tap noises, and the clatter of plates and cutlery being set, and then couldn't get back to sleep because the noise was continuous.

Review 64：NO GOs:as a complete contrast to this ambitious, upmarket 4-star-house:To my opinion THE ESSENTIAL of EVERY stay at EVERY hotel these points are a MUST: a clean, well maintenanced room where you can get re-creative sleep and also moderate levels of temperature and noise; specially during night times. These points are definitely improper to the room we got accommodated:1. There's no AC available. So you get the choice at night: closing the windows for getting a bearable but even not sleeping adequate noise level and get over 28°C in less than two hours even at midnight. Or you leave windows wide open at bearable but not comfortable temperatures for sleeping, but can't sleep re-creatively even wearing earplugs. I've asked the receptionist at first day of our stayfor AC and her only succinct reply has been: "Summers in Sweden usually are not hot. After sunset it'll cool down but we can borrow you a fan.”We did spend incredibly noisy nights giving us the feeling being placed atCopenhagen's Tivoli amusement park including not always good smellsof cooking of surrounding gastronomy of your house coming inside caused of the opened windows. A stay in the afternoon in summer in the room is simply intolerable.2. In the room, and specially at the bathroom there has been a lot ofobvious stress marks (black scratches on the wall and partiallypainted over unprofessionally, worn out furniture, and a heavy leaking mixer tap). But most disgusting are clear signs in a lack of cleaning and maintenance of the bathroom: a lot of dark mould formation at the silicon at a lot of different places there.I’ve pleased the hotel management for a statement and the answer sounds to me really silly and I have to admit after getting this reply without any try of concession I can’t take them seriously anymore. Hotel’s manager statement:“I have been up in the room to look at it and I'm sorry to say that you areright. The bathroom is very bad.

Review 65：WELL DONE: Polite, friendly and helpful staff wherever and whenever we had contact with them. Excellent car parking service (pick-up-service directly at the counter) and a tasty, rich and good of choice breakfast in a very quite atmosphere. Directly located in center of Malmö, so all places of interest can be reached easily by foot or bike. (Renting a bike does cost 60 SEK half a day). Generous room and bath, XXL-king size bed, but oversofted and economic lifetime has come to the end. Wi-Fi and Tea/Coffee/Water free of charge. Unfortunately there are no more “Brownie points”

Review 69：It was incredibly hot at the time we were there and there was no airco in the room Our room was adjacent to the street, which was incredibly noisy in the morning - startin g 4 am!! closing the window was an terribly choice since the temperature in the room was still sauna-like. When we stepped out to go to breakfast, we noticed the public areas were cool with airco - if I had realized that I think I would have slept on a mattress in hallway. That way I would have caught some sleep and no be drenched with sweat and woken at 4 am by delivery truck after delivery truck. A pity for an otherwise good hotel because in the end one remembers how good one's night sleep was: in our case: the worst since years!! The staff didn't ask about our night sleep but about breakfast. I'm guessing they knew.

Review 70：Hotel Master Johan is a good luxe hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom are beautiful. The breakfast buffet is good and the buffet itself is offered in a cosy kitchen-area.

Review 76：The bathroom was built in an unfortunate way, which meant the whole bathroom floor was flooded when you took even a brief shower. We spent ten minutes mopping the floor with towels, because it was very slippery otherwise. This was really, truly, the only unfortunate thing about the hotel.

We left for a few days to visit stockholm and decided to stay again and cancelled two night accommodation in Copenhagen. The breakfasts are also fantastic together with very comfortable rooms and facilities.

Review 81：Such a beautiful place, perfectly located next to all the central attractions of Malmo. We had a small room on 1st floor, facing a beautiful interior atrium. Very comfortable and with all we needed. Despide the breakfast being served right under our windows, it was all quiet, very nice low volume ambiental music coming to the open windows. Breakfast also delicious. It was a wonderful experience, we would return here any time, when in Malmo.

Review 82：Avoid the "BASIC" rooms - it may be hard to sleep with the window closed (too hot/stuffy) or open - the room becomes too noisy and there is not much air, either, since the room overlooks a roofed-in(!) interior courtyard. They are overpriced, and in my opinion barely acceptable in a 4-star hotel. Hotel interiors are becoming a little dated.
