Review 1：The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We put in a request to check in early to our room and they arranged it so that we could. They asked a family to switch rooms just to make this happen! What service!
Review 2：The only thing we didn't like was the view. There wasn't a view at all. The other hotel and the office was a sore thumb but over all it was perfect

I couldn't evaluate the "breakfast, as they technically do not offer one, only packaged stuff. But they did offer coffee, hot chocolate and teas. Something fresh, fruit and baked goods, would have been only a little more trouble and very welcome!

Review 52：This was a nice spot for our family of 5. Steps from the beach. Ruth is an excellent host. We borrowed a potato masher and the used the charcoal barbecue one night. It was nice to have a fire log burning in the fireplace. A great location for a winter get away. We will definitely be back.

Review 58：If you want to stay at a hotel that has genuinely friendly staff, then Hillcrest is the place. The receptionist was friendly, warm & smiling, her helper grabbed both my husband's and my bags and ran them up to our room on the 1st floor in the rain & up stairs with being asked or wanting anything for it besides our thanks. The room though smallish was cosy but not cramped everything fitted well. We stayed in a room with a spa which is huge could easily fit two people unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try it as we arrived after 10pm. They had a no spa after 10pm rule so the noise wouldn't upset people below us which was perfectly reasonable. Hillcrest & Seaside were both a pleasant surprise as we were aiming for Astoria & it was booked out so we got the last room available in Seaside which I had never heard of. We went for a walk to the beach in the morning which was only 2 mins away & then on to the Pig 'n' pancake for breakfast, another gem, good food & with a great little souvenir shop inside. I would most definitely stay here again.

Fresh fruit, cookies / treats for the kids, coffee and hot chocolate for you whenever you want, 10% off at great restaurants, they even went out of their way to get us wine glasses. Right on the beach also.. If you are coming to seaside to roam the beach and take in the town, then for the price, you can't really lose here
Review 61：The staff were amazing and very helpful, they went out of their way to make our stay a great one. Everything was clean, well lit at night, they provided beach towels and blankets that saved us from having to wash our towels. We will stay there again if we are ever up that way!!

Review 68：This is a very clean hotel, that has an inviting atmosphere. Our room was a queen, with a large whirlpool tub, and a gas fireplace. We also had coffeemaker, microwave, and fridge. There were plenty of towels, and really nice personal items such as shampoo, conditioner, etc. The bed was quite comfy, and there were extra pillows. Our room was upstairs, and very quiet. Not much of a view, but within easy walking distance of beach, restaurants, and shops. I would definitely stay here when in Seaside.
