Review 1：the pool was closed and there was a working area outside where the beautiful view was suppose to be. We were not informed about this and were so disappointed, and did not want to stay. The main purpose for booking at this place was the outdoor area.

Review 3：Friendly staff, beautiful indoor swimming pool, very relaxing after a hard day's work. Extra comfortable bed, incredible view of the river, peaceful surroundings. Very good breakfast included. Absolutely loved it!

Review 4：Fake orange juice at breakfast (made from powder) - this is NOT 4 star service, I have had fresh orange juice at hostels even. If using powder it should be labelled "orange drink" not "orange juice" because to be juice, it has to come from the orange not from chemicals

Review 5：It's a perfect afternoon place because you can relax by the pool which overlooks the water and watch the sun go down. There's a great heated indoor pool and a small gym. The place is clean and quiet.

Review 6：Not enough chairs around the pool for guests, not enough chairs plus tables for breakfast, not enough food for breakfast, no room service, not enough waitress for dining. Not sure how this hotel is 4 star when it doesn't have details to the major issues.

Review 12：El cable de la TV un verdadero desastre. Están frente a Buenos Aires y tienen sólo dos canales argentinos que son malísimos. El personal DEBE SER MAS AMABLE. Hay que enseñarles eso. Pedimos LATE CHECK OUT y nunca nos dijeron que teníamos un almuerzo incluido. Lo dijeron cuando estábamos haciendo el check out. No me gustó eso.

Review 14：Traffic noise from motorcycles that raced up and down the main road along the waterfront facing the hotel. Because of the late hours they normally kept, the noise would continue until past 2 am and 3am. This was our only complaint, and unless you are a really really deep sleeper or had amazing earplugs, this would be an issue. Wouldn't matter where you stayed in Colonia...it was just a late night motorcycle culture!

Review 18：There were quite some small however disturbing issues in the room: - Wall painting coming off - empty bottle on top of closet - dirty toilet seat - Wall plaster damaged - Mosquito spots on the ceiling - floor not well cleaned (dust under bed and hair on the floor) When these were mentionned at check-out, I didn't get any further tan "I'll inform the management", somehow disappointing ... I hope the management will take some initiative since the hotel has lots of potential

Review 59：It has everything to be the best choice. Anyway, as a new hotel they must improve some details. The restaurant and the breakfast area need more staff. Dirty dishes were spread al around the tables. Yo had to manage to get your clean cups, glasses and dishes looking around all the tables. The staff is very nice but not enough. The swimming pool is very nice and clean but you cannot find shadow anywhere and half the deck chairs are broken.

Review 60：The distance from Old Town was too great for walking more than once a day so cabs were necessary. I prefer to walk. The noise from the street motorbikes was horrible but did stop around 11:00 pm. The noise from construction across the street was very loud but that is the price you pay for growth I suppose. If our room had been on the pool side rather than the street side, these noises wouldn't have been so noticeable. We were in an apartment suite thinking that maybe we would have a meal in but there were no grocery stores in the area so it turned out to be not a good idea and breakfast was not included in the apartment price.

Review 61：Front desk staff very helpful in recommending great food in the area. Natalia has a great personality and is a asset to the hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but very efficient.

Real Colonia is in a great location and is only a 10-15 minute walk into town. The facilities are great and are very well maintained. Absolutely loved our stay there!!!
