Reviews for Efes Konaklari

Review 1:Perfect is perfect and cannot be improved upon.

Review 2:Nursen is the most amazing hostess and despite not speaking English we managed to communicate enough for her to mkae me so very very welcome. I was upgraded to a deluxe suite, which was divine with a lovely window seat where I could sit and gaze at the comings and goings of the village. The bed enveloped me and the pillows were something special. The breakfasts were indescribable and each day there was something different and scrumptious. What a delightful village and thenperfect place to spend a couple of days just chilling out and recharging the batteries. I even got a free ride to Izmir Airport. Above and beyond the call of duty. An absolute oasis made extra special by a superb, welcoming, warm and generous hostess. Thank you Nursen.

Review 3:The Efes Konaklari is in Sirince, a unique mountain village with extraordinary charm & sophistication. The Efes Konaklari with its beautiful classical Ottoman style architecture & styling is without exception the best boutique hotel we stayed at during our 4 weeks travelling Turkey, Our host, Nursen welcomed us with open arms & showed every care & consideration to make our stay the most wonderful experience. We cannot recommend this beautiful hotel & its owners & staff more highly. We were treated not only as welcome guests but also as valued friends. Every day of our 3 day stay we were surprised by small acts of genuine care & consideration. We will be coming back to this wonderful place.

Review 4:Great hotel, runned by gentle, caring and smiling people! The village is full of restored Greek houses and has a very unique local style! And the hotel's breakfast was really amazing! I stayed there with a friend and the hotel's owner decided to offer us two separate rooms in the price of just one room! Amazing!

Review 5:Finding the hotel is a little difficult and parking is tight, but we managed both. Restaurants either closed for season or closed early, but we found a lovely TA recommended casual diner and had a lovely meal, all done by pointing.

Review 6:Welcoming family run hotel with the most helpful folk you'll meet, even though we communicated with little common language. We're upgraded to a larger, more comfortable room because it was available and our heavy luggage was carried up to and down The stairs. Sad to leave....should have stayed longer.

Review 7:That we didn't stay longer! Seriously, this place was one of the best bed and breakfasts we have ever used.

Review 8:The inn is a cute little place with stylish and beautiful furnishings. The size of the building means it feels like you are there by yourself even when others are there. The breakfast that was included was an amazing variety of Turkish food that was different and fresh every day. The hosts also take it to the next level when it comes to making you feel welcome. The Turkish hospitality of the village is even more pronounced here as Ismail and his wonderful wife are sweet and responsive to your every need. When my daughter was sick, he took us to the hospital and helped us navigate the emergency room. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. My parents were visiting with us and they were overwhelmed by how wonderful the entire experience was.İsmail ve eşi inanılmaz vemükemmel bir oteldir. Ben bu otel tavsiye ederim. Kahvaltı farklı gündelik ve çok lezzetli oldu .

Review 9:No pegs for the towels in the bathroom. Chandeliere hanging too low so we kept hitting our heads into it.

Review 10:Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, clean and modern rooms. Nice bathrooms! Well kept garden. Wonderful service. Short skriving distance to Efesus and Virgin Mary's House. We'd happily recommend it to anyone.

Review 11:Everything was perfect, absolutely nothing to complain.

Review 12:One of the greatest experiences in our life... Very beautifully restored mansion of the 19th century, serene village bringing you back to the atmosphere of a warmer forgotten past...we were welcomed like family members coming back after years abroad. Nursen and Ismet who run the business are 2 of the warmest people we have ever met. The breakfast fantastic, better then home. We will definitely come back!

Review 13:Poor bathroom. Expensive for the location and quality of the place

Review 19:Hospitality was amazing. Total comfort. Stayed in the Angel room. Proberly the best nights sleep in Turkey.

Review 20:This is a wonderful hotel in the small hilltown of Sirince near Ephesus. The charm of this hotel comes from the personal touches of the owner and her staff. While there is no 'front desk', someone remarkably appears as you arrive by car and takes you to your room in one of the two buildings. The room is beautifully designed and reflects the region but adds luxury elements such as a foot sink and a rain shower head. An overwhelmingly delicious breakfast is served at the hotel's restaurant 100 m away. The owner is the real jewel of your stay. She is very friendly and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We ate dinner at the retaurant as well and even though we were full from dinner and had decided to leave, we eyed the baklava and honey cake on the way out and she encouraged us back to our table for complimentary dessert and tea. In the morning she read our 'fortune' from the grounds of our Turkish coffee!! Great fun. There is a couple of places to park right at the hotel, but the streets are very narrow and winding and visitors may feel more comfortable parking at the parking lot at the entrance into the town and then walk their bags the 150 m to the hotel.

Review 21:The location is a bit far from Ephesus, you need to take mini bus fromSirince village to Selcuk(15min bus, every 20min), then change bus toEphesus. The breakfast is very Turkish style( variety of cheese, olive, dry fruits, cucumber, bread and jam), the only hot is egg and tea, ifthere's bacon, sausage and baked bread would be a lot warmer.

Review 22:The hotel is very quiet, you can sleep tight at night. The owner lady isvery friendly, makes guests feel welcomed.

Review 23:The hotel was unattended at all times. Although we were promised our breakfast at 7:30 on departure day, nobody showed up and we had to leave without breakfast. Not very professional

Review 24:It was clean

Review 25:when we had to leave

Review 26:The people was of the utmost kindness. we spent two fantastic days

Review 27:Lack of directions on how to get to the hotel or how to check in.

Review 28:Breakfast. Their breakfast and their service beats 5-star hotels. Room decor.

Review 29:Nature, Friendly staff
