Reviews for Bellevue Guesthouse

Review 1:Located at the entrance of the Sequoia National Park. Breathtaking view from the guesthouse! The best breakfast ever, served on the terrace with view on the valley. Very kind hosts! We felt very welcome.

Review 2:The owners are incredibly supportive, and interested in making sure that we are very very comfortable. They are also quite fun to be around and showed a lot of interest in what we were doing in our work during this visit.

Review 3:As a whole it is overpriced; we did not like the room with walls completely covered with nudes

Review 4:The house is in a wonderful location, it is nice to wake up in the morning and to be surrounded from the nature; the owners are kind; good and varied breakfast

Review 5:What wasn’t clear to us when we booked is that they only have one “set of” guests at the time – i.e. we were the only ones there for the two nights we stayed – this means a very personal hospitality – thus if you like this – as we did – this is a really nice place. And the breakfast was very nice – very nice indeed :-). Only minor is that the beds are not huge – we were 4 people in two beds – it worked out fine.

Review 6:Warm and welcoming hosts... fabulous views... terrific breakfast... very comfortable beds... peaceful, beautiful, natural surroundings. I also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds flocking the hanging feeders on the back deck while having my morning coffee!

Review 7:Everything is awesome!

Review 8:Such a unique experience. The food was amazing and the owners are so wonderful.

Review 9:Stunning setting and very warm welcome from hosts. And yes Eva, it was the best breakfast we had in California!

Review 10:not friendly enough to come back

Review 11:breakfast is fantastic

Review 12:Nothing

Review 13:The guesthouse is only 2 km away from Sequoia National Park. The hosts were incredibly helpful and professional

Review 14:The peace and quietness of this place. The wondeful landscape. The friendness of the owners and the quality of the breakfast.

Review 15:Breakfast Location

Review 16:Peaceful, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Delishious breakfasts Location

Review 17:If you are looking for a hotel this isnt your place. If you are looking for view and a wilderness adventure in a family's home then this is the place for you.

Review 18:Loved the hosts and location to the park. The breakfasts were fresh organic and lovely.

Review 19:Nothing comes to mind.

Review 20:Bellevue was perfect as a jumping off point for visiting Sequoia/King's Canyon Nat'l Parks. The accommodations were quite comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and the B&B owners were delightful. We'd definitely stay there again!

Review 21:The description indicated that the room had a fridge but it didn't. We put a few items in their fridge. Not a major problem.

Review 22:Ozzie and Eva are great hosts, the evenings were spent in great conversation with them, very interesting and delightful people. The breakfasts were excellent, not just the usual roll and some cereal. The location was perfect for the park. The view from the deck is beautiful and in the evening you see millions of stars. The room itself was on the small side but there is an entire sitting area to spread out in.

Review 23:-Second story room did not cool off to a comfortable temperature atnight and we did not sleep much or comfortably the entire night (thiswould probably not be a concern in winter/spring/fall, but insummer with almost 100 degree days, the ac needed to be turned on tocool off the upstairs where the guest rooms are located). Earlier in theevening I brought up my concern but was assured it would cool off as theevening progressed. Unfortunately the cooling was not sufficient enoughto ease the heat on the second floor. -Noisy and rattling ceiling fan inbedroom when turned to high speed -Did not feel as comfortable to movearound as freely as in a hotel room knowing we were in someone'shome (this was more a personal concern than anything done by thehomeowners)

Review 24:-Location -Hospitable husband and wife owner/operators -Continentalbreakfast was fresh and considerate -After we checked in, we were leftto ourselves

Review 25:Nothing. Not a problem for us but noteworthy for potential customers, the restaurants and services in Three Rivers are a short car drive from the Bellevue.

Review 26:Our hosts could not have been more welcoming & attentive but not intrusive. They will share wonderful knowledge of the area and serve a mighty breakfast. We would not hesitate to visit again

Review 27:There isn't anything I didn't like. I would go back there again. It was fantastic.

Review 28:The hosts were marvelous-very friendly and helpful. Their attention to our comfort was most appreciated. The breakfasts were delicious. They made you look forward to the morning. The location was very convenient for visiting the park and for visiting places outside of the park. The view from the house was breathtaking. It was so pleasant to sit and listen to the birds and look at the mountains and listen to the sound of the rushing water in the river.

Review 29:When I got home Eva sent me some pictures of a mother bear and cubs in her yard. I MISSED THEM!!!! Rats!

Review 30:Eva and Ezzy are like family. They are wonderful host and hostess. Food wonderful; setting exquisitely set in the hills outside of Sequoia. We are chatty so we could have sat and talked alot. As it was, we were greeted upon arrival, chatted a bit and went off to bed. We were headed to the Sequoias the next day. Ezzy got out maps, guidebooks, chains for the car - basically everything we might need to have a great day. After a wonderful breakfast and lots of great Summatran coffee were were off. Gorgeous day. Back to the Bellevue at night. Sat and chatted for awhile. I went off to bed, have worn myself out but Bill stayed up with them to midnight chatting. Ezzy is a retired chemical engineer; Bill is a civil. So two kindred spirits met. Next morning, after a wonderful breakfast and more talking (these two are so interesting to talk with) we had to bid adieu and drive home. Not without tips on a great fresh fruit stand, murals in Exeter and a promise to swap bread recipes. It really was like staying with relatives who you just don't see very often. Hope to go back and take my kids. Older kids. Little kids here wouldn't be a good idea. They have lots of souvenirs from their travels out. A little too tempting for little fingers. My kids are 18 and 21. They would love to go to the Bellevue.
