Review 1：Nothing really - maybe the carpet was a little old, but really I'm looking for something to write. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 2：Great hotel in a lovely tree lined street, 5 minutes walk to the old town. We had two deluxe rooms looking out over the street with little balconies and they were huge, with a separate lounge area. We could also look out over the pool. Breakfast was excellent, in particular the fresh fruit. The staff were extremely helpful. The pool was great for the kids. We stayed 2 nights and could easily have added another day to enjoy the great restaurants and just relax.

Review 5：This hotel was in a beautiful historic building, excellently situated in Colonia. It had been very tastefully and successfully modernised.

Review 6：Woman on front desk - unsmiling, barked at me when I arrived, snatched passport out of my hand - literally - and ignored me when couples arrived after me, leaving me to wait for my key while she attended to them. Room was the smallest in the hotel - all the rooms were open when I arrived so I could see in - they were all twice the size of the one I was given. I was only there one night so couldn't be bothered to do anything about this. But honestly, it gets so old paying the same as a couple and getting the worst room, especially in the off season when rooms are empty. Breakfast was very heavy on sweet things with no hot options. Wasn't made to feel welcome in any way whatsoever - very disappointed in this hotel as I chose it based on stellar reviews.

Review 11：This is a beautiful, colonial-style hotel located in the historic part of Colonia. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and confortable. Also, breakfast was amazing! We will definitely stay at Don Antonio again if we come back to Colonia in the future. Great place!

Unexpectedly it had its own swimming pool in apretty garden setting and a spacious terrace above it. The tree-linedstreet, the quiet neighborhood (yet 1/2 block from the main Aveneda)made walking to all points of interest and restaurants in the historicaldistrict very easy and inviting. All room facilities worked well; roomswere clean and well appointed. We viewed several other posadas andhotels in Colonia - none could compare.

Many rooms overlook a nice patio withflowers and the (small) pool. Excellent breakfast buffet, the best I hadin Uruguay. Wi-Fi in the room worked well.
