Review 1：Our room was really outdated. While it is was still comfortable, everything about it needed a facelift.

Review 13：The room we initially booked had loose floor tiles, a line of ants that dissapeared into a hole in the shower wall, black mold on the cieling and insects crawing around on the wall. So we requested a different room and at first it seemed ok, but the carpet was so filthy it turned our socks black. It also had sticky spots. There was water damage on the furniture to the point that the laminate was peeling up and the press board was flaking on the floor. There was dried blood on the comforter. We also found cockroaches and more ants. I was able to glance into one of the linnen closets by an ice machine and there was a big water hole in the cieling also framed with black mold. Alot of the outside metal fixtures were covered in rust an bubbled paint. Town was so booked we just decided to deal with it and make the best of it. This hotel is in need of a serious renovation and the owner and management should be ahamed of themselves embarrassed with what they are selling to people. I left my housekeeper a tip because they probably don't pay them very well.

Review 29：Older place. The fire place didn't work, maintenance fixed it. Hadto hunt down the tv remote. Found it in the window seal. Spa water wouldnot get very hot. The a/c switches were broken. You had to work itjust to get it on. Then guess what setting it was on. Parking wasinadequate. The coffee maker didn't work right. The dinette area waswater damaged and moldy looking, the original mini fridge was replacedwith a larger one that didn't fit in the space. It was off to theside. The shower knob handle was held on with a rusty screw which madeadjusting the temp difficult.

Review 31：Could use updating, but for the price, it was just fine for me.did not like to have to get a key before using sauna. Would have been nice at check in to ask if we wanted to pay the deposit and get the key then instead of finding out after you get out of hot tub and go into the sauna area.also, there is no age limit on hot tub, so kids of any age can be in there. That's not relaxing when little kids get in and out and splash around.

Review 34：Our experience was good. The only blah things would be that the room was dated, lighting was very dim, the bed was a bit too firm for my tastes, and it did have an older hotel smell. I couldn't figure out the WiFi but I didn't ask the front desk either. There is no free breakfast but there is a restaurant in the hotel, we never tried it so I can't say if it's good or not.

Review 35：I booked this hotel for my husband and I's 3rd anniversary. We wanted something with a Jacuzzi tub, since this was our first vacation since being married and we were without our children. After booking this hotel I read the reviews and was very nervous about what I was walking into. Much to my suprise we were greeted by a chipper guy at the front desk, he was very informative and very nice. Our room was in the main building, surprising after a good majority of the reviews stated we would be put across the street in the older section. The room was massive! A bathroom, a separate room with the Jacuzzi tub and sink, and the main room with a king bed, sofa, love seat, and a fireplace. It was a great room for the price. The location was great for walking, though the walk backnis tiring it beats the $10 charge for parking. The indoor pool was not as packed as I imagined it would be, although the sound of the waterfall was a bit deafening.

Do try to identify her, as she deserves extra"kudos" for guest services & caring!

Review 51：Not enough parking we stayed in room 134 got back to our room at 11 from being in pigeon forge and had to park across from the office on the other side of the road and had to leave our car there then walk across and far away from our car.

Review 52：Really close to town, very quite and peaceful, loved being able just to relax, sitting area at the river was really nice. Yes its outdated and was kinda worried at first about our stay but all in all we enjoyed ourselves, clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and we will be back!!

We were able to see a mama bear and her two cubs right behind our room the day we arrived! Staff is very friendly. Location is optimal to simply walk down to the heart of Gatlinburg. Excellent price and cute little set up of the property in general.

Review 68：The room had been sprayed heavily with some sort of deodorizer, as if to cover up an odor. It was so strong it choked me up when first entering the room, and cause an allergy attack. Had to keep a/c running even in the cooler Fall weather.

We told the front desk, they said they would have the room sprayed while we were gone for the day. I am not sure this happened because when we returned the bathroom wasn't cleaned but beds had been made. No evidence of dead bugs found.

Review 78：We love this hotel, we come here every time we stay in gatlinburg.... this trip though I did ask for 2 smoking rooms and asked for a certain room but they didn't even acknowledge it when I checked in.... And then we found out we had 2 non-smoking rooms.... it was a little cold sitting on the patio...

Review 79：The gangster bear that kept tearing garbage out in the parking lot. The staff that wouldn't come pick up the garbage or take the trash cans away. The staff basically told me the bear lives in the area and would be back. Well don't you think that if you took his food supply away, he might move to another area. I was not happy with this situation at all. What if someone had gotten hurt? The staff was very special and not in a good way.

Review 81：Over a dozen stink bugs and lady bugs all over the room. Staff finally came and sprayed . When housekeeping came to clean rooms next day they left the dead bugs all over the room. Following day we kept killing bugs and again housekeeping did not clean them up. The staff at the front desk kept telling us there was nothing they could do about the bugs and just keep our door shut. We did and still had bug issues.

Review 84：Traveling with 5 lb dog so we were put in older motel across the street that hadn't been updated since the 70s. IT was smelly, ugly, no water pressure, a 5 ft tall shower head and 2 women with a outdoor entry with a warped door didn't feel safe

The picture of the balconies on the hotel's site does not reflect the balcony you will get. There are only 2 rooms that have the balcony pictured. Very disappointing since I cancelled a reservation that I had with a nicer hotel to have a balcony over the "river". The Juliette balcony shown on the front rooms on the site is what you will get!!!! Barely big enough to stand on. I was so looking forward to coffee on my balcony each morning! Photos uploaded. Sliding doors do not lock. You are provided a metal rod to put in your door for security.

Review 100：The hotel, location, etc. would have been excellent but it really needed refurbishing. Putting new spreads did not get it. The walls were somewhat dingy and there needs to be more lights inside. Pressure wash the walks, stairs, and clean the tile inside on the floors.

Review 105：For congested Gatlinburg, location is excellent--I rated it less than that because of the town, not the location within the town. Staff were helpful in switching rooms to accommodate a two-person stay, when I originally booked for a solo stay.

Review 111：I booked a month in advance for a weekend in mid October and only paid 140$! When i walked into the room i was absolutely amazed how nice it was! Bathroom was spotless, bed sheets freshly cleaned, and floor felt freshly vacuumed. The weather was frigid but the heating unit did exceptionally well in keeping us warm. My most memorable moment as far as the hotel experience was checking in. The desk tendent was so delightful and welcoming! I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to make it my place to stay next time I visit Gatlinburg!

The trolley stops right in front of the hotel and can take you and bring you back from anywhere in Gatlinburg. Rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable.

If could give this place a negative score I would.. Beware beware!!!!
