Review 1：Breakfast was a bit ordinary.
Review 2：Spacious room with high ceiling. Trees outside window ( Room 1 ) full of singing birds rather than traffic noise. Nice touches like monogrammed sheets and fluffy white towels
Review 3：My room was facing the street and it could be a bit noisy. Uruguay apparently has the loudest motorbikes on the planet.

Review 19：We stayed just one night at Hotel Romi, using Colonia as a stopover during our trip from Montevideo to Buenos Aires. It was an excellent choice and we wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is located in a typical old house that has been tastefully renovated. Our room (11) was a bit small but we stayed very little in it, as Colonia is quite beautiful and the weather was perfect for sightseeing. Hotel Romi is just four blocks from the bus and Buquebus terminals: a mere ten minute-walk.

Review 21：Fantastic location, less than 5 mins walk from both bus and boat terminals and about 8 mins walk from old town. Nice continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice open, light, airy feel in hotel. Great value.
Review 22：Stuff does not speak English at all. Sometimes they seemed to be a little annoyed by us don't speaking Spanish. But in the end it was okay and we got everything we needed.

We could print our booking of Colonia express for free which was very cool because Colonia express have charged four dollars otherwise. Also the lady at the reception told us we should book online because otherwise the price would be 20 dollars more.

The rooms are large with lovely polished wooden floors and original double doors and double shutters on the windows, and immaculately clean. There is a .modern computer for client use. The breakfast was a good continental one and very prettily served. The staff were procession and friendly.

It's just a couple of blocks walk from the boat terminal so it was great to save on a taxi, drop off my bag and then walk the six or so blocks to the old city, through some lovely tree-lined streets. Lots of restaurants, banks shops and money exchange places on the way. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cuando contraté a través deesta página el precio era de $360 por habitación doble y al cancelar enel hotel, terminada la estadía, ya que no aceptaban pagos anticipados,nos cobraron $ 1.400. Una verdadera estafa.
