Review 1：Our specific room (only this one) had no privacy if curtains open, which take a bit of the confort away And no real door between bathroom and bedroom, just a very annoying salon bar swinging door (very heavy) and again for privacy in toilet could do better Sad as otherwise everything was perfect, still definitely recommend it though

Review 3：We booked the family room prior to arriving, once we arrived at the guest house we had a 1 minute welcome and were quickly hurried off to our room. Once we walked into the room we were hit with an awful damp smell. The bedding was also damp and smelt horrible since it was kept in a small dark room without any windows. The bedding also made us itch uncontrollably. The breakfast was also cooked in a small kitchen which again was small and although HAD windows weren't opened and the old oil smell from the previous breakfasts which were cooked remained in the surrounding area. All in all if you are only there for the view I would recommend this guest house, otherwise save yourself the trouble and unnecessary expenses and get yourself a proper place.

Review 11：We really enjoyed the lovely, empty beaches further along the road at Dana Bay. There was also an enterprising restaurateur who ran a shuttle bus to and from his six restaurants and I'd recommend the Villa Pointe restaurant where the kudu osso bucco was delicious.
Review 12：Very messy desktop with assortment of sockets,candles, mosquito plug, etc. Silvering coming off edges of mirror in bathroom. Eighties style ceiling light which looked like it had dust from the eighties still on it. One cup and two saucers for drinks and very dusty plastic container holding tea bags etc. Generally grubby feel to the room - don't book room 2

Review 23：It hasn't changed at all and is looking a bit tired. The breakfast last time had lovely homemade scones and choice of preserves. This time it was pretty basic. The shower in my room took a while for the hot water to come through! The floor hadn't been cleaned and had to go looking for a cup and saucer and green tea.
Review 24：I stayed here 8 years ago so was looking forward to returning. There is a short 10 min walk to the shops and some restaurants however much further to the waterfront. The breakfast was okay.

Review 56：Ken and I loved staying at Mossel Bay B& B. Katelain, the manager, was a huge plus. She was helpful, patient and a delight to chat to The owner was clever, attentive and helful. The pool was clean, warm and wonderful. The breakfast area was on a deck overlooking the ocean and the food was very good.
Review 57：They need to improve their cleaning standards. In our room there was a dirty glass of wine, garbage in the bathroom bin and a used shampoo package... During the night, other guests knocked in our room door as they found a cockroach in their room and couldn't find any staff to help...

Review 60：Piet ,the owner was simply marvellous. A great character and indeed a very good host. He made our stay quite memorable. The location had stunning views of the bay and the rooms were huge and very comfortable. Food and amenities just perfect.
Review 61：The room smelled like a basement- humid and no air. The bed was not comfortable and was very short. There was no door for the bathroom, including the toilet! Couldn't wait to leave this place.

And the bathroom door consisted of these 2 saloon doors (like my parents had in the 70s too) - which made a huge racket every time you walked through them. But this is minor. :-)
