Review 1：I didn't like that that the entry was difficult to find, at the time of night I arrived and I could smell cigarette smoke while I was sleeping. It awakened me, as a matter of fact.

We were given a room that was supposed to be smoke free but, it smelled like smoke and the walls were discolored from smoking in the room. There was dust through out the room as if it was never cleaned. Just a complete dissatisfaction.

Review 18：It was very clean. Was disappointed that there was not a hair dryer or refrigerator in the room. However, we were there only for a short time. And I guess for the price that it was a nice accommodation.
Review 19：It took over 40 minutes to check in and I was there at 5:30. There was only one lady. She was trying to check in, answer phone, and find out if rooms were clean. We were checked in to room 130 only to find out the room had not been cleaned. We tried to ask housekeeping when the room might be cleaned. She only spoke Spanish. I went back to the lobby and a customer came down to interpret what the lady was saying. They then checked us in to another room. I asked for management there was not one there. When I left next morning, I asked for manager, still manager was not there. The room smelt awful. I never stayed any where that was this bad!!!
Review 20：So much is great about this hotel, but the beds linens are not comfortable and even a bit scratchy. Hard to complain about the price though, it's a great deal and great location.

No way to not have the fan run and it was noisy enough to wake up anyone sleeping in the main room. We also saw a roach in the main room. Very unhappy with this Red Roof Inn. We've stayed at others without incident.

Review 39：This place was sneaky good. Literally - it's kind of hard to find off the Interstate exit. However, once you do it's a great little find. Rooms were reasonably priced and very clean. The best parts of Chapel Hill are about a 10 minute drive away, and overall this is a great place to stay if you're in town for a night or two and are on a budget.
Review 40：Check out is 11am. At approx 10:30 maid knocked and I asked her for a few additional minutes that we were still in the room. A second made knocked and then used her key and walked in on my boyfriend who was standing there naked. He was mortified and I was furious.

I had to walk to laundry and beg for more, the rude lady only have me two. I had to but my own at Wal-Mart. One staff member did everything she could but manager was unavailable the whole weekend.

Review 51：Upon arrival, cliental was disturbing in parking lot, concerned for my safety and realized i could not stay. Multiple men in parking lot very dubious at best. Multiple men hanging out in balconies jesturing to others to come out of room upon pulling in. Went to desk to notify I could not stay there and feared that I was at risk for rape as well as personal safety. Desk clerk young lady who just said sorry in a calm voice. Was also concerned for her safety, but she seemed non-chalant. Over 7 of the men suddenly appeared in front desk area for no apparent reason and I left immediately. They were staring and gawking at me. Quickly as i left, one of the men jumped into his vehicle and followed me and I had to run stop lights and make multi-turns to not have him follow or find me. I spent quite I bit of time reporting this incident officially to red roof. I am shocked to find a blazay text from your company. The police obviously should have been notified for me to receive this text! I will never stay at a red roof. I am an experienced ER NURSE, travelled in the Middle East, Central America extensively. The episode on your property was inexcusable. I am street smart and this hotel should be investigated and likely shut down. At the least, I deserve more than this generic text. My experience will be shared with any who needs to travel in this area.

Review 55：You definitely need a sign indicating the road that must be turned down to get to the hotel. It was after dark, and there was no street light and no street sign and no Red Roof sign at the entrance to the road to the hotel. I drove by 3 times, though I could clearly see the hotel, I could not find the street to get to it and went 5 miles down an adjacent highway to find a way to turn around and search in the darkness for what appeared to be an old access road (no street sign and no hotel-this-way type of sign) which I hoped would lead to your hotel and it did. My GPS was worthless as it told me to turn right but I could not due to a curb. Very frustrating!
