Review 1：The arm chairs in the room are warn out and uncomfortable. No tea or coffee in the room.

Review 2：The location is very convenient. Close to the city centre, to the train station, to grocery store which works until 11 pm. The staff was polite and respectful. The check in was very fast.

Review 3：My booking has gotten lost when booking wrong day, canceling it, and then booking correct day (one day earlier). But staff was very helpful and resolved it quickly.

Review 5：Nice hotel in the proximity of the train station. Very helpful staff - we were able to rent bikes for a couple of hours in the morning to do a quick tour.

Review 6：Loud doors when closing! They have installed new doors with new swipe cards that slam shut with a hefty noise that is disturbing even when you are inside your room with the door closed. This woke us up multiple times during the night with people coming and going.

Review 14：- The hotel seems tired, the furniture isn't in the best shape and tv is really old-school (not flat)- the staff was OK, but nothing special, I don't like to be bothered for an upgrade when I'm in an expensive country, if I wanted a more expensive room, I'd book it - the breakfast could be longer than just until 9:30, especially considering that check-out is until 12 - the menu in restaurant was very limited, the drinks were warm and Martini was mixed with sth much heavier like vodka, but the barman didn't mention it before we ordered - if you go by car - the hotel doesn't seem in such a good location - we thought it was quite far from the city centre - our room wasn't cleaned too precisely - the bathroom bin was full and the content was gross!

Review 18：No fridge - and no vending machines for drinks (as alternative). TV outdated - perhaps usually not essential, but in my particular case it was. Huge windows: great. No net curtains: feeling exposed. It would add to the feel of the spartan room as well is they were added. Hotel corridors remind you of an underground parking garage or school dorm. Having to pay up front is not unusual in Scandinavia, but gives an unpleasant feeling: we don't trust you. Breakfast good, plenty, fresh food - just no decent coffee :)

Review 19：Back to basics, that is what this First is all about. It is hotel to sleep in, not really to stay in. Big rooms, sparsely decorated, but adequate. Hotel is around the corner from Central railwaystation - connecting you with all of Sweden and across the water to Copenhagen (30 mns to town, 20 mns to airport - and trains all night long). Station has an impressive food hall, among other attractions - what the hotel lacks in services the station more than makes up for. City centre is also close.

They went out of their way to make us feel at home and welcome. I would stay here again.

Review 43：This was my second stay at First Hotel Jörgen Kock, so obviously I was happy with the first one! It was easy to find from the train station, within walking distance. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is comfortable and has everything that you need, and the included breakfast is exceptional value. I was especially pleased with the availability and variety of gluten-free food for my daughter, who has just recently been diagnosed with coeliac disease. I recommended the hotel to my relatives, and they stayed there too.
