Reviews for Kennebunkport Inn
Review 1:Maybe a regular breakfast with the stay would have been nice, not necessary but would have really topped the cake...;)
Review 2:The Clean, comfortable room and the very courteous helpful staff!!!!!! :)
Review 3:No gluten-free options at breakfast, and our room needed a full length or table mirror. I have a blood pressure condition that prevents me from standing, so I can either sit on the floor next to a mirror, or use a table top mirror to apply my makeup. The room had neither.
Review 4:It is a gorgeous, timeless building, right in the center of Kennebunkport. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the room was perfect. The bar is perfect--I loved the decoration and comfort! And the entranceway and dining room are so cool. Loved this place!
Review 5:We checked in and went to the room I booked for a king room with a tubin mid August and paid for it at that time. The room was the smallestroom I have ever seen this side of Europe with barely space to walkaround the bed. As there was no space for night stands they have somefunky pullout drawers that are supposed to be night stands. There wasone small table and a small chair. The bathroom was with a shower and a shower head larger than the shower stall. There was NO space for our luggage, no luggage racks so we had to take our bags back to the car for the room was that small. I called the front desk asking for a larger room with a tub and was told they were sold out and all rooms were taken. The room was clean but I did get several bug bites during the night. Just a real disappointment after so much hype on this hotel. The view from the window was of the dumpsters and when I had asked for a room with a view I was told I could view the dumpster or the street or the parking lot. For the price of these rooms there are a huge number of hotels in Kennebunkport that have very large rooms with the same New England charm and with views. Next time we are in Kennebunkport we will be booking elsewhere. Their continental breakfast wasn't much of anything and was all carbs. My husband being diabetic wasn't able to eat a thing. We walked down the street for breakfast. I normally don't do reviews but my husband asked me to do a review on this hotel as we were both so disappointed.
Review 6:The location is in walking distance of the shopping and dining area. Atypical old New England Inn.
Review 7:Great location in the heart of Kennybunkport. . Also the inn has a beautiful deck for relaxation with a fireplace that is lit every night. Friendly staff and very clean rooms.
Review 8:We would have enjoyed the doors to the outside to be closed when it was exceptionally cool in the morning. It would have been nice if the lounge was open a little later so that we could enjoy a nightcap after dinner before retiring.
Review 9:We loved the location and the restaurant.
Review 10:room was small, parking is tough to get a spot, poor view from room, no pool, hot tub, or spa.
Review 11:older building very well taken care of and updated, great location,
Review 12:Breakfast could be improved. Poor selection, all carbohydrates and no protein. Service at the restaurant was very poor one night but the second night was perfect thanks to a waitress of the name of Jessica.
Review 13:Location is perfect. Deardrie ? was adorable and helped us to carry our suitcases when we arrived. That was remarkable and very nice.
Review 14:The only negative was the air conditioner was loud. We simply turned it off, it was cool enough.
Review 15:Hotel was beautiful, clean, excellent location, friendly staff, it was perfect. We will definitely be coming back.
Review 16:I want breakfast to be more fresh, local, farm to table. Fresh muffins baked locally, crusty whole grain bread baked nearby and fresh fruit, strawberries, blueberries in season. Your breakfast is from a processed Betty Crocker box and doesn't even begin to fit the story of the rest of the experience at the inn.
Review 17:I love the decorating. The rooms make me so happy. They are beautiful, classic, tailored, comfortable and cozy. Downstairs is wonderful. I love eating in the bar and having a wine outside on those gorgeous couches on the porch with the fire. A magical place for me.
Review 18:The quality of the baked goods could have been better. Not a great selection of choices for breakfast. Small room.
Review 19:Cleanliness, friendly staff, location, new decor.
Review 20:Everything about the Inn is first rate - from the quality hair dryer, abundant electrical plugs, great towels, etc. to the larger items like well-kept rooms and beautiful facilities.
Review 21:Too bad they don't offer a full breakfast. Shower head too large for small shower stall.
Review 22:Most convenient location for shops and restaurants, free parking, beautiful property but smaller rooms, as the inn is old.
Review 23:The breakfast was good, but could have used a little more variety. Maybe some hot or cold cereal, toast, etc.
Review 24:It was quiet and right downtown so it made going for walks convenient.
Review 25:the room was very small maybe 4 ft around a queen bed with no closet so put you luggage in that 4 ft .the floor and room was so cold 67 and I didn't feel well so had to go home a day early
Review 26:nicely painted and did not smell bad .The 3/4 bath was nice small but nice
Review 27:Nothing - loved it all
Review 28:Started our tour of New England here and it was a great way to start. Wonderful friendly staff and a great little bar to perch up at. It was ugly xmas jumper night when we arrived so bar was lively and great fun (apparently Thursday is the night to be there). Room was great and plenty spacious for 2
Review 29:Comforter on bed needs to be updated to fit rest of blue & white modern interior design
Review 30:Perfect location - close to shops, restaurants and downtown Good value for off-season Friendly staff Excellent food Comfortable beds Modern blue and white nautical decor
Review 31:nothing
Review 32:Location was in the middle of the area that we wanted to see in Kennebunkport. The room was a little small but we knew that from the reviews, and pictures of the rooms. It was plenty big enough for us. It was raining when we drove in at night so we didn't leave the hotel after we checked in - restaurant was very good and there was live entertainment.
Review 33:Can't think of anything.
Review 34:Love the staff and our room! Several years ago we brought 2 sweat shirts and love them. We were disappointed that the Inn was not selling them. It truly is the best place to stay. Warm, welcome home kind of feeling.
Review 35:We had to leave too soon!
Review 36:Location, quality of food, a spacious room with fireplace, the deck with fireplace, and the general ambience of the facility.

Review 39:From check in to check out 1st class everything, super staff, immaculate facilities, five star treatment on a reasonable budget. All the staff were SO good and always willing to help, an idyllic setting in a central location, handy for everything, places of interest, restaurants etc.. One of our best experiences ever.!!!!
Review 40:A lovely spot. I arrived in a driving rain to a warm, cozy, clean and happy hotel. The decorating is wonderful, love the colors. My room was clean and comfortable and I had a lovely dinner downstairs in front of the fire. I can't wait to go back!
Review 41:My husband and I stayed for only 1 night in July on a trip through Maine. We loved the location of the Inn, especially being able to walk all around the town so easily. The room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. We left before breakfast was out and were the young woman at the front desk offered to get us coffee and a snack to take with us. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Review 111:The location was superb! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The full breakfast was a nice surprise. The deck was great and nice with the fire at night.
Review 112:Room 303...toilet paper holder..to reach you have to be a contortionist! Alot of road noise (street right outside room). Need sound proof curtains over louvers. Room not dark enough at night. Needs a fridge in the room. Room needs two chairs to sit in, not one. When the room above takes a shower / bath, sounds like a freight train in the room.

Review 114:What's not to like
Review 115:Rooms too small and water temp took a long time to come up in the shower
