Review 1：The first impression of the reception staff, tainted my initial view as to how I saw the resort, but after that they were great.

Review 2：The room was exceptionally comfortable, breakfast was good, just a small stroll away from the ski fields itself

Review 3：Heating system was turned off,thus it was cold. (reportedly due to local governance policy). Pool and other spa facilities was not available due to maintenance but we were not informed in advance.

Review 8：The Palan Hotel is a jewel, the standards regarding infrastructure have risen in a way that I had never experienced in this region. We were crossing Turkey from West to East, so we started booking hotels using booking.com and happened to discover the Palan this way.We usually would not even get close to that kind of hotels, because hotels like these are way over our budget. But we had to realize that the price was way lower than the price for a below average stay in any town in Central Europe, let alone the price for one night in a hotel up in the mountains back in Austria or Switzerland.And the low price was definitely not due to low standards. The Palan Hotel offers more than an average person would ever be able to afford in Europe.There's a decently stocked bar, a restaurant with very professional staff and a panoramic view, of course sauna, spa, Turkish bath, swimming pool at no extra costs and even heated elevators - which I never experienced before.The rooms are clean, tidy. The bathroom offers everything one needs, so one could even leave the luggage at home.The mountains around offer everything for a great skiing vacation. Ski rental and Ski pass are less than US$30 all together, and the slopes are covered with real snow. There are drag and chair lifts within walking distance, but the hotel staff will also take you to other resorts with it's own snow mobile, and you can actually spend the whole day skiing, instead of having to stand in line at the lifts.Some hotels in Erzurum offer free parking, which just means, one is free to park the car on the road, but the parking at the Palan belongs to the hotel and it is still free of charge.The WiFi is open, very fast, and works throughout the hotel. Since I stayed in more than one room I had a chance to test this.

Review 9：Foods at the hotel was not that quality as it charged for. Beside the price offer from booking.com they have unprofessional pricing strategies for additional services (ski pass rent, meal plan). Once you spoke on the phone could be surprisingly and unexpectedly different and expensive when you go to hotel.

Review 11：I am a working resident in Turkey and the prices for the quality of the rooms was very high. The rooms are run down and 3 star quality. Surrounding hotels have their own ski ramps and facilities, this hotel. Was charged a 5 star price for a 3 star accommodation. The description of the family accommodation we booked and the reality where two very different things and was very disappointing.

Review 17：The Manager made all he could to have us a special stay in bis house. When leaving he even sent a driver with a car to show us the city center and gave my friend a special gift.

Review 18：Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff! Having some technical problems with our car in the end even Manager has been involved in finding a solution and guided us with his car through the traffic to the garage area on the other side of town! Recommended!

Review 42：The best impression is hotels GM-Oktay. He had offered us a affordable transfer from airport and from him we got all information about surroundings. You can meet him easily in breakfast. Hotel itself is ok. 5 min to ski lifts, swimming pool, hammam, breakfast, large room.
