Review 1：Mattresses and pillows were very hard. Of the 4 of us, we all had trouble getting a comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was minimal with only bananas for fruit which were old, and no juice or water to drink (only coffee). There was noone checking on breakfast either to top things up.

Review 21：The bed was too firm for my liking. I might would have tolerated it better, had it not been for the fact that my arthritis ( I have it in most of my joints.) was really misbehaving during my stay.
Review 22：I liked the facilities and the location. My room was clean. The grounds were kept immaculate. I loved the air conditioner. I liked that I could see the actual temperature that I wanted, and it would cycle on and off, so that there was not constant noise from it. This motel and the area surrounding it was very quiet, which I enjoyed. Continental breakfast was served. You had of choice of oatmeal, bananas, orange juice, I think apples, as well, coffee, bagels, and donuts. I only imbibed the coffee, banana, and on one occasion, a bagel, as I must watch the amount of carbs that I eat.

Review 24：Free parking space in front of each room. No stairs, very easy to carry suitcases. Near to the area of the Amish farms and also to restaurants and shops. Very calm and beautiful garden with flowers in the middle of the hotel. Good advices for restaurants and activities. Beautiful landscape around. Good price.

Review 26：The front desk person was very friendly, there were smoking recepticles outside the rooms which was nice for the smokers in our group. The breakfast area was small but well stocked.

Review 33：If you stand outside you cannot hear anything from inside any rooms. But between the rooms, the walls are thin, so we heard the college-aged group staying next door - very loud late at night, but it was not on purpose. We went over to politely tell them to tone it down, which they did. Very nice kids. But, had they not, I'm not sure what could have been done. Just mentioning this so that perhaps management can put a small note about peace and quiet after a certain hour.

The way the inn is set up, the proximity to many shops and restaurants (which came in handy since it rained the whole day and we were on our motos), the cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, and Shradha, who welcomed us (two wet and weary motorcyclists) and sped up our check in. Review 35：The room was superb. Everything needed was there. A desk for work and a table to eat what we ordered in. The staff were fantastic. We'll come back.
Review 36：Because my large group wasn't immediately impressed with the outside of the motel, our deacons inspected under each mattress for bed bugs. No bed bugs, but, there was a dirty diaper under the mattress in one of the rooms. Flies were a little bit of an issue. There are fly swatters in the room because you are so close to the corn fields (which are very pretty). There wasn't a smell, but we did have to kill a fly or two. One bed was said to be a little itchy. Not sure what that was about, but it was what i was told by one a person in our group. The walls are a bit thin, but not too bad. All and all, we just may come back next year.
Review 37：Ok, so last year, my church group and I stayed at the Eastbrook. To me, this hotel was more updated than its immediate neighbor. It was a great price and was centrally located. Breakfast was sufficient. Nothing fancy, but there is plenty of eating hot spots in the area, so this wasn't a big deal. We booked 5 rooms total and each room was a different experience. The rooms were clean overall, updated and for the price, pretty nice.
Review 38：The hotel owner is very pleasant. It is obvious the current owner has done much work to update the facility. It is very well situated for seeing the tourist attractions and shopping.
Review 39：The only thing that we didn't care for was the plastic sounding and feeling mattress pad. I'm sure that style of mattress pad is beneficial during the high season and families are traveling with small children. The mattress pads just caused us to sweat!

Review 41：The only thing I didn't like was the traffic in the area. Getting anywhere via U.S. 30 on a weekday was time-consuming. It was somewhat better on Saturday.

Review 56：The owner/manager Nick was most friendly and made quite an effort to ensure that we knew everything that a tourist unfamiliar with the area needed to know, good eating places, attractions etc. so that we were up and running straight away. It was centrally located and although it was near the main road no noise could be heard from the room at night. Dated interior but very clean,
Review 57：Thought that the breakfast could have been better. Didn't have much of a selection. I know it was only a continental breakfast. Even so did not feel it was adequate. I know we could have asked for more but thought that there could have been more towels supplied on the onset. The biggest thing that I noticed that there at once been a bath mat inside the tub that was removed but the bottom of the tub still had an imprint of the glue that was on it. I felt that should have been scrubbed until clean. Gives the tub an unclean look. One thing I did learn was booking online I was not entitled to use my AAA or AARP. This is wrong and should not be. A lesson learned.

The service was the best we have encountered in many years and the room was spotless. I definitely would return again and tell my friends who might travel to this area.
Review 61：Onsite owners were gracious and accommodating. The motel, which felt a lot like a B&B, was ideally located and felt very safe and comfortable. It was clean and had recently been remodeled. Having a fridge and microwave was a real plus. We've stayed there before and it gets better every year.

Sight & Sound is just down the road about 5 miles. Wright location for everything you need and the price is right. The owner and his wife are very pleasant to talk to and very helpful. We will make this our place to stay when we come back to PA.

Review 72：Very friendly owners and staff, very clean room with microwave & mini fridge that didn't freeze everything! They even supplied a fly swatter...being in farm country, it came in handy even though we only had one fly in the room! We've stayed at several hotels in the Lancaster area for the past few years and will only stay at The Weathervane Motor Court from now on! This would also be a great place for families, there is plenty of grassy play area for kids. The motel is perfectly located close to Sight & Sound Theatre, Outlet Shopping and many local restaurants and businesses.
Review 73：The breakfast area was a little small as the motel was full when we stayed making it hard to find a seat. breakfast foods were kept replenished and sufficient.
Review 74：The rooms were very clean with plenty of room. All the amenities worked really good, especially the wi-fi which is usually not so good at motels. The bed was very comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The staff was friendly and efficient, check in and check out was very smooth.

Review 88：My family and I needed to stay in the area for a baseball tournament. We were looking for a reasonably priced, clean motel. The Weathervane Motor Court was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and well maintained. The outdoor area was very nice, as well. There were plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. I recommend this motel to anyone who needs a clean, well maintained place to stay.
Review 89：I've notice in all the bathrooms in most motels the repairs are done cheap, why do people think caulking is the fix all......other then that it needs a little upgrading.

Review 97：The only thing that disappointed was the breakfast as it consisted of bread, bagel, donut or cereal. No hot food or any fibre rich food (only carbs) and the coffee was watery and tasteless ( although it was available all day for guests). This wasn't a major issue for us though as there were numerous places to get a breakfast buffet within five minutes of the motor court ( I would particularly recommend Millers and Deinners) and let's face it one of the reasons we came to Dutch PA was for the Amish food so the lack of choice at the motor court was not a real concern as we intended to eat out as much as possible anyway.
Review 98：The motor court is a owned and operated by a friendly and helpful family. The rooms were spotless and were adequately furnished. We particularly liked the fridge and microwave in the room. The location couldn't be better as it was minutes from the outlets and a five minute drive to all the main Amish areas/activities. The room was excellent value for money. We intend to come back to Dutch PA and will happily stay with Nick and his family again.
Review 99：As with our other travels, we budget. We try to find a great value for money hotel wherever we go. Weathervane is one of those. Nick and his wife are warm, welcoming and helpful. The property is well kept. Our room was well sized, clean and stocked up on consumeables. A welcome addition to the room is the table and 2 chairs. The beds are well sized and comfy. The bathroom is small but with the basin / big mirror / hairdryer next to the bathroom, the size of the bathroom does not matter. The airconditioning unit is great! There is a Target about a mile down the road. Very convenient. The breakfast is continental. Although the variety could be better, it was fine and fresh! The Amish towns of Intercourse & Bird in Hand is 10 minutes away. Overall we can't fault Weathervane and will return without a doubt.
