Review 8：Probably one of the top 2 hotels i have stayed in my entire life! fabulous from check-in to check out. my room was huge, beautifully appointed. actual live flowers in my room. free paper in the morning with a small card showing weather forecast for that area that day. breakfast was delicious. bar area is comfortable and inviting without being too presumptious or too tacky. just right. lovedlovedloved staying here. even though i just got home, i'm already thinking up another excuse to go to Pleasanton and stay at the Rose Hotel. also, free, covered, protected parking. close to restaurants and shopping.

Review 10：Beautiful Hotel! We loved everything about it, and would definitely stay again. Location was great, just a short walk to many excellent restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed drinks at the bar, and a continental delicious breakfast. Free onsite parking was and added plus!

Review 11：Breakfast is rather limited (tasty and high quality, but very small selection). You can hear horn of the passing trains. Almost all restaurants nearby were closed by 9 pm.

Review 12：Very high class of furniture, service, helpful staff, cleanliness,free parking, good lighting in the room (not economic dim lights like in many hotels), French press cofee in the room, complimentary bottled water, free fast WiFi everywhere, free coffee and cookies in the lobby 24/7.

Review 13：We like to keep the sleepers. To think that they might be recycled is too un-healthy. We are doctors. I meant the slippers. The electric outage was awful also, had to shower in the dark!

The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved all the little extras such as the candles, the French press coffee, the turn down service with the chocolates, the free movies and the breakfast. I really appreciated that there wasn't and extra charges apart from tax! It was definitely a good hotel for our first anniversary.

Review 45：These ideally located hotel has it all: whatever you thought should be available in the hotel during you travel - here it is. Well, there are no butlers, of course, but they are not needed. :-) Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable. You get coffee, tea, water, fruits, granola bars, snacks at the bar 24/7. And everything is included into the rate (except the alcohol in the minibar, naturally). And you can rent a DVD for free, if you stay inside for the evening (they have a plenty): feels like home to spend an evening on the bed with a favorite movie and a glass of wine.

Review 48：The other reviewers are right. This really is an excellent hotel. The other surprise was the Livermore valley wine trail which is a much less congested place than Napa but well worth a look. We tasted wines at Concannon and Wente and had lunch at Garre. Then on to the purple orchid spa for a swim in the pool and a spot of sun bathing. Pleasanton has some good restaurants too (try Haps for steaks, order a 24 oz prime and split it for two. Much cheaper that way and is delicious - best steak on this trip so far). So all in all this was a great find and entirely due to reading the reviews on Booking.com An unexpected pleasure.

Review 49：The reservation was purchased as a honeymoon gift and paid for through booking.com. When the couple arrived they were told they couldn't use the room without the cardholder swipe of the card. This required the payee driving to the hotel late at night for payment. Not a great experience!
