Review 1：The food in the restaurant totally changed it is terrible cheap quality just terrible. I was a quest of win river 2 or 3 months ago and the restaurant was great my husband and I own a restaurant fine dining and we thought the food was great but yesterday Jan 2 it was terrible the waitress told us they just changed the executive chef. Well I'm sorry you need to get the person who was there three months ago he was great this new guy is terrible or I guess Corp is telling him to go cheap. It is awful! Three months ago I enjoyed the prime rib and the seafood pasta the menu has changed it is terrible

Review 2：I like the room, service, parking and casino.

Review 3：Staff wouldn't help me when my family and I woke up to our truck battery dead!(and it was 20 degrees outside!) They wouldn't even help find someone with jumper cables. And they were rude when giving me the full disclosure of why they don't help people! Well I said screw you thanks for nothing, thought this was America were people helped each other!! So my family and I will never give win resort and casino any of our money again! Plus the casino sucks they barely have any tables running! Not even roulette and that's why I was staying there! So overall the room was fine but the overall hospitality sucks! I wouldn't waste my money staying here!

Review 5：We were there for Halloween for my daughter's cheer competition and the staff told us of a good neighborhood nearby to take the kids trick or treating. After the kids had their fun a group of us went down and enjoyed the music and dance floor. It was a good time considering not being home for Halloween with family.

Review 6：the only issue with the entire stay was the poor service in the dining room with the waitress being horrible. Had to wait more than 10 mins to get drinks ordered then waited another 20 before I went to the bar and got them myself. the rest of the service was just as poor

Review 9：We upgraded our room to a Deluxe King room and it was worth the extra $30. It was beautiful. Very spacious and alot of upgraded features in it.

Review 10：The rooms on the parking lot are loud at night. People yelling and swearing! At 5:00am some A-hole decided to rev his motorcycle for 45 minutes before any one from the hotel asked him to stop or leave. Casino is very smoky!

Review 14：We (my husband and I) have stayed almost twice. The first time, we spentthe night and enjoyed dinner and a live band, some light gambling, thendancing the night away at the bar/club. Had an awesome time. Thesecond time, we checked in, enjoyed a few drinks, but then had anemergency which made us have to cancel our evening. The staff graciouslyrefunded us half our money. They were all truly accommodating and myhusband and I plan on staying every time we visit Redding!

Review 15：The dining room standards were't that good. Tables were old and scratched,not as clean as I would expect.You'd have to go a long way to find a thinner T-bone steak.Though the food prices were good the food was of cafeteria quality.

Review 18：They need to do something about the shower floors. The floors in the showers are really really slippery. My wife and I have both slipped and almost fell a couple times. We have stayed here five or six times.

We had to take our food upstairs because it was giving us such a headache. If you don't plan on getting food or going into the casino (which is attached to the hotel) & staying in your room, then this is a great hotel.

Review 30：Lots of noise...trains seem to run by most of the night sounding their horn; barking dog in a room near by; lots of noise in room above our room. Choices for breakfast was minimal. The breakfast buffet had very few choices.

Review 36：This time we were not at all satisfied with the room. It was 2/3 the size of the other room for more money. It was also very noisy most of the night because it was right above the casino entrance. We didn't get good sleep. When we complained it fell on deaf ears.

Review 48：They over charged me on my deposit for both rooms, deposit was supposed to be $50 each room just in case of damages which is understandable but over charge me $135.00 which is ridiculous said money would be back on the next day when I booked then checking out they told me a different story it would take 3 to 5 business days to get it back. Really needed the money back asap since I was traveling with 5 kids really couldn't afford to experience anything else after that. I will never go back.

Review 50：Resort was misrepresented. I am so unhappy with this and may never useBooking.com again. My asthma was off the hook. Had I known I would havetaken my oxygen. Loud train went by every 45 minutes or so.

Review 53：We liked that it had more to offer than what is available for stopping point hotels between ca and wa. It is about 5 or so miles off freeway but not bad. Nice pool, non smoking, can eat in hotel and when kids went up to stay in our junior suite ( which we paid about 160$ for) not bad for parents to have own room... We went down had a glass of wine in lounge. Our room had a Lg jetted soaking tub, 2 flat screens (one in ours and one in living rm where kids had hide a bed.

Review 60：A particular security guard was rude. There was an intoxicated guest, (with whom I sat next to earlier in the evening while playing poker), and he was waiting to get a ride to go home from his mother. A security guard, who was short and small, had a huge power issue and was rude and seemed more interested in getting the individual arrested than resolving the issue. When I intervened, the security guard was quite rude to me too. I had consumed no alcohol. I am an attorney. I was trying to get the young man home without getting arrested. It made me uncomfortable and I do not intend on going back because of the security guard in question. He needs to go. I told my story to a cab driver. He told me that the security staff has control issues.

Lovely surroundings for the hotel, much nicer than staying in Redding. Great place to stay even if you aren't into casinos which we aren't. We chose it as it looked so much better than other hotels in the Redding area and were delighted.

Review 82：My guest and I enjoyed the environment of the hotel and casino. With a few exceptions it was pretty close to feeling much like a casino I would visit in Reno. The outdoor pool area was extremely relaxing. The snack bar was inexpensive and tasty. The casino did a good job of separating the hotel from the actual gaming environment. We were happy with our king suite and service was pretty good oversall.

Review 83：The location is several miles south of downtown Redding, so there really was not much to walk to and do, other then the small footpath behind the resort.

Review 84：Had our car break down just 1 exit south of the 273 exit. I called ahead and the Mgr Elisabeth made accomadations for my wife and kids while I waited for the tow truck. Everyone that we dealt with was friendly and helpfull. Our little one's loved the pool, mini pool with shower, and spa. Since we were stuck for 3 days without a car we ate at the pub and grill, and resturant and the food was good and the staff were great. We highly recommend the Win-River.
