Review 2：AC was individual units but turned off for season. It was HOT in the room and although the unit could be activated they would not do it. It was miserable. They made no accommodation. Very poor customer service.

Review 3：Breakfast, would have been nice to have more than just coffee and a very small muffin on offer.

Review 10：I loved it here. The rooms were clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The staff was beyond helpful i- from the restaurant, to the front desk staff to housekeeping. We stayed here to relax for a few days and were able to unwind and enjoy the property.

We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and having some privacy if we wanted too by pulling the curtain - thought that was a good idea and option for guests. Also really liked the pool area with the bar right there. And my husband and I had breakfast at the clubhouse(?) - the food was excellent and the gentleman working that morning (Wednesday ) Was very nice !

Review 19：The breakfast description was not accurate. Small mini muffins is not what I'd consider a selection of baked goods. More importantly, the resort DID NOT honor the booking.com price. I discovered the discrepancy and informed them of it and got attitude and argument. I was extremely displeased with that.

Review 20：The resort was beautifully situated, with an excellent view of the kennebunk river. The furnishings were modern and stylish. The bar and pool area were welcomed after a long day of activity.

Review 21：I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the laminate flooring in the rooms. Walking around in socks the bottoms were filthy. And that was just in the room. Otherwise the room was very clean, bedding nice, pillows comfortable.

Review 22：The clubhouse was great for the kids, very clean and decorated nicely. They offered smores for the kids to make by the fire pit, a bean bag toss for the kids also, chess and checkerboard in the clubhouse. The pool was great and the locals that come to the pool/ restaurant were very friendly! The front desk was very helpful and friendly!

Review 23：Booked this for one night on the way from Bar Harbor to Washington. Really nice boutique hotel. Wished we'd stayed longer! Funky but tasteful rooms. Spent a very peaceful evening sitting down back with glasses of wine watching the king tides come up the river.

Review 24：I was very impressed with the Lodge on the Cove and all of its accomodations. The location is perfect, as its a lovely, tucked away, quiet resort, but only a 15 minute stroll from the town's shops & restaurants. The staff was very friendly, informative and helpful. Giving great suggestions on places to see and restaurants to try. The rooms were updated, clean, stylish and refreshing. I really liked that each room has its own porch area and I could pull my car up right to our door. The amenities at the hotel were fantastic and unique, from free bicycles available, to a club house, games, and my favorite...a bonfire with s'mores. The inn's restaurant The Dory, again had very gracious and easy going staff, and the food was delicious!!!! I will definitely be making the Lodge on the Cove my regular place to stay while visiting the area.
