Review 1：Room was dark and dreary, there was a coffee pot but no coffee? overall impression = shabby...
Review 2：The price was reasonable and we could get ground floor accommodations.
Review 3：My non smoking room had cigarette burn holes in the blanket. Chair in the room was dusty and dirty. Hard to get the old big television to work. The water in the tub drained out slow.

Review 5：Room had HORRIBLE Smell. Dirty carpet, dirty bathroom, uncovered outlet holes in walls. Not enough Usable outlets. Curtains broke, did not cover window completely. Door lock had hard time latching.

Review 11：This hotel was dirty in a very bad location. People setting out on stairs. We had to leave for day upon returning the hotel had a pipe bomb in parking lot and we had to relocate to another hotel was told second bomb in week. Don't recommend
Review 12：We booked a non-smoking room, and found a cigarette (unused) on the floor between the beds. Some cleaning staff! The blanket on the bed had cigarette burns! We asked for a change of room. Second room was also supposedly non-smoking, but smelled conspicuously of smoke. It, too had cigarette burns on the blanket! We abandoned hope of finding a better room. We will avoid this hotel in the future. Also, the overhead light didn't work in the second room.
Review 13：The price - and it is extremely handy to the interstate. A friend of mine from Columbia tells me that it is on the edge of a bad neighborhood, but that wasn't obvious at the hotel itself. If there was a breakfast offered, we were never told!
Review 14：We were in the area to visit a sick relative, when we were trying to make a reservation, because there was an event in town, all the hotels were price gouging including this one. The carpets were old and somewhat dirty. Cigarette burns were in cover and sheets in a non smoking room, However the sheets and towels were very clean, with no stains or odors. The shampoo and conditioner had previously been used and was not replaced with new bottles. The bathroom was decent but could use a hair dryer.
Review 15：The place is older but the room we had was acceptably clean. It is not a place we would normally stay, but because of the situation of a event in town, we were somewhat forced to stay here. The room was OK with newer TV, refrigerator and microwave.
Review 16：Not up to Red Roof standards. Inefficient and rude desk and housekeeping staff. Broken ice machine. Misinformation regarding ability to pay cash for room upon checkout. Have stayed at this hotel in the past but will not do so again.

Review 20：We went to the office to check out, and the sweet girl there, couldn't find us in the computer, and no check in form that I HAD signed upon check in. We had paid cash upon check in, and even though we were in the room, our reservation had been cancelled at 2:30 a.m. I think you can read between the lines and figure that one out.
Review 21：The lady that checked us in that night was kind of quiet, which was a little strange. Most people in that job are talkative. We found out a possible reason the next morning.

Review 28：The toilet ran over into the floor even after we reported it. The lock on the door was broken and I felt unsafe all night. The room smelled like smoke and made me sick to my stomach.

Review 36：I walked into my room and the mattresses were bare and there was trash all over the room. They gave me a different room - after I had carried all of my things up to the 2nd floor to find a filthy room.

Review 38：In a very uncomfortable area!! Even our Uber driver told us this hotel is not in a good area and he was surprised we were staying there! ... Which surprised us as it is just over a mile from campus.

The bathroom roll bar for a handicapped person had what appeared to be crap on the bar. The bedspread had several cigarette burn holes. I've stayed in cheaper motels that were nicer and cleaner.

Review 45：Coffee was in the lobby, not the room and the thermostat was set about 77 when we got to our room. Not the best part of town but we had no trouble or loud noises. I'd stay there again for the money.

Review 47：The bed was hard and couldn't get comfortable on the bed. We paid for two nights but left before check out. We left Saturday night because of the bed being so hard. When I ask for more towels on the first night (because we only had one) they ask if we had any. When I said only one they gave me the other. The house keeper didn't offer to make the beds (as other hotels do) and everytime someone moved in the room next to us we could hear it.. My husband is a sound sleeper and it even woke him. I honestly don't see us going back to this hotel because others offer more for the same price. They didn't even have a continental breakfast as others for the same price do.
