Reviews for Aarchway Inn

Review 1:The gym was tiny and had very little possibilities for a work out. The breakfast was a littlebit better than in a regular motel, but you might expect more in a hotel of this kind.

Review 2:Good room, great shower. Washing room, outside pool (closed during winter) Great value for money!

Review 3:Great place, our boy loved the jumping castle indoors, breakfast included was also great. Also had a kitchenette, so we made dinner on our second night which was great.

Review 4:Fleece blankets unclean and dark brown !! Very loud running aircon machines Thin walls Brown everywhere

Review 5:Mattresses Can open windows Kids place Close to Arches

Review 6:This was our last stay on a week-long trip. We stayed in hotels that were more expensive but were run down, uncomfortable, falling apart and dirty. This hotel was stunningly clean, roomy, very comfortable and friendly. For what we paid it was a bargain. We'll stay here again.

Review 7:Loud fridge, make it clear you either have to enter through access of the hotel next door, or drive quite a way past the hotel when coming from the south. Slightly confusing when arriving in the dark.

Review 8:Comfortable beds, friendly staff, nice upgraded bathroom, pleasant decor in the rooms.

Review 9:Large and very clean rooms. I thought the breakfast offered / included in the price was going to be your typical continental type BUT was very surprised that in fact it was a complete one. Loved this place and will go back for sure in the future!!!

Review 10:I don't ever do a review, but I was so impressed with this place I have to. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home. There was more than enough room to walk around. I will never stay anywhere else in Moab except for the Aarchway Inn.

Review 11:Facilities very well kept. It has a style that connects with the environment around. It's visible the effort of the staff to create a warm home mood. Great location if your target is Arches.

Review 12:The TV in our room shows only black and white, we didn't bother to ask them to fix it though. The exercise room is very small

Review 13:Very close to Arches National Park Staff is polite and helpful

Review 14:That I couldn't take the mattress with me ;)

Review 15:Loved this place! Locally owned, eco-friendly and so comfortable! The beds, amazing, the staff, amazing! I will stay here every time I come to Moab.

Review 16:Crowded and noisy on arrival because of a birthday party for non-overnight guests, but this quietened down later. Breakfast limited in terms of healthy food such as fresh fruit.

Review 17:Spacious room with large beds. Location near National Parks (Arches and Canyonlands).

Review 18:We reserved a three queen room which was not available upon arrival, so we were upgraded to a room with a kitchen for the same price, which was fantastic. What I didn't like was the main bed was full size and should have been at least a queen, if not a king. Full size bed just does not make for comfortable sleep for two - and we are both small frame people. The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. Not much of a selection and bland at best.

Review 19:Location. Had a fantastic view from our room. We reserved a three queen room which was not available upon arrival, so we were upgraded to a room with a kitchen for the same price, which was fantastic, and the fact they have a warm breakfast buffet is good, but… see what I didn't like. The older woman bussing tables and generally cleaning up after people was friendly. I would stay here again and I would recommend it.

Review 20:Breakfast never changed over the four days.

Review 21:Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Easy access to hotel but would need a vehicle as is on the edge of town. Close to Arches NP.

Review 22:Great amenities and great staff. This was our 5th or 6th stay and we will book there again. Loved that the pool was still open and our kids loved the bouncy castle in the lobby.

Review 23:Aarchway is an excellent property. VERY clean, staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I have stayed in many hotels in Moab, and this hotel has definitely got the complete package. Its evident that the owners care about amenities and impressing the guests. The pool being open over Thanksgiving, the continental breakfast was great and the staff were on top of everything. The parking for trailers and walkway to get to the sidewalk, the grounds, the gym, the room renovations, the bounce house in the lobby for the kids, the general store. I noticed so many little things that made it evident that this place is well cared for and that the owners care about their reputation as the place to stay! Room service, maintenance were outstanding! Can't say enough about our experience. Thank you!

Review 24:The bathtub had a hard time draining.

Review 25:The beds are amazingly comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is nice. You actually have direct TV instead of a couple of channels. The staff is very helpful. They let me cancel a day on last notice without charging me for a cancelled day or late check out.The amenities are great. The view is amazing. Thumbs up in my book.

Review 26:Noise is very bother me the most. You can hear outside noise when someone walk by, talking and when they close the door. It woke me up in the middle of the night.

Review 27:Convenience location. Close by everything such as restaurants, gas station and very close to the national park. the hotel very nice and clean. good breakfast and staffs are friendly

Review 28:Could have gluten free cereal like Cheerios or Chex at breakfast. Eggs were mediocre and potatoes could have been served hotter. Would like to have bananas too.

Review 29:Loved the bouncy castle! Staff was responsive to problems immediately and very nice. Hotel was clean and fun. Great location with lovely backyard. Hot tub was fun. Kids loved having hot chocolate available.

Review 30:I only regret that I was not fortunate enough to stay longer! Absolutely no negatives whatsoever!

Review 31:Everyone was wonderfully kind and helpful and the hotel was so very, very clean. It was such a pleasure to stay at Aarchway Inn!

Review 32:The bath room was a little cold as there was no heat source. We suggest that a few rooms be retrofitted with ceiling heat lamps for winter season occupancy. Soaps & shampoos provided were smartly packaged "eco-type" products but definitely didn't work. We suggest you bring your own. Still a great value!

Review 33:Motel was modern, clean, spacious, and well furnished. Breakfast was great! Staff great! We looked at all Moab motels on the internet before choosing. This one offered an honest low off-season price and didn't try to bait & "up-price" us as others did. The value was great & they also gave an AARP discount. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone.

Review 34:Can't think of anything major. My kids really wanted to have bacon for breakfast but I guess it is only served on Sat and Sun. Still not enough of an issue to prevent us from staying in the future.

Review 35:Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for the money. Loved the location for access to Arches and north Canyonlands.

Review 36:I feel like I was getting ripped off. I had only booked one night and when we decided to stay a second they said the proce would be over 200.00. Then the couple in front of us got a deal for 100 and all of sudden when I asked do you have any deals, they could then give it to me for the same rate. However, they tried to charge me even more than 200 for the extra night we stayed and when I brought it to their attention, they then fixed it.

Review 37:The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the facility was clean.

Review 38:We stayed in the 3 queen bedroom. Very spacious, rustic decor, clean. Loved the large grassy area and playgrounds. Huge parking for trailers and trucks. Great breakfast.

Review 39:Breakfast was outstanding!Room was clean, comfortable and spaceous. Afternoon cookies rocked. We enjoyed the visiting Native American artists in the loby. We'll stay again!

Review 40:The mattress was unusually hard, the doors to the rooms didn't dampen much noise from outside.

Review 41:The value, the amenities are newer, the decor is stylish and comfortable, the breakfast is great. We booked the executive suite and it was great.

Review 42:My family loved our stay in the Family Suite. It was well appointed and very comfortable. The amenities were great. Staff went above and beyond to provide breakfast during a power outage. We will be back!

Review 43:A little pricy. 2 miles from Moab downtown.

Review 44:Very close to the Moab park. Quiet place to stay even just off the main road. Lift is very conveinent for each floor. High quality of the food during the breakfast. Friendly staffs.

Review 45:It is a very nice facility. Our only complaint is the lack of visibility to the access at night. 'The sign coming from the north is on a quite sharp narrow access road with an almost immediate left turn, and is not lighted. Everything else was excellent.

Review 46:I loved the size of our room, and it was beautiful. I loved the breakfast, hot and a lot of options. I liked the location too. I really like that it's outside the city, but not too far, and close to Arches.

Review 47:You need to drive to get into town, but you can't have everything.

Review 48:Newer hotel/motel with very large and well-supplied rooms--very good value in its price group. Large breakfast with something for everyone. Very close to the road, which leads to Arches, Canyonlands, and SLC.

Review 49:I saw the employee working at the breakfast area dump the plastic eating utensils on a counter and handle the part of the forks that go in people's mouth with her hands. She did not clean the counter, didn't wash her hands and she sneezed on them! The coffee was too hot to drink or handle. The sheets didn't have a clean feel.

Review 50:The fellow at the front desk did an exceptionally good job.

Review 51:Unfriendly staff at breakfast, food was ok. The hotel staff was using the visitors laundry room for towels and such. There were only 4 washers and 4 dryers so we couldn't do laundry at that time. Only saw that happen one day.

Review 52:Great location. Great pool for the kids. Rooms were clean and well appointed.

Review 53:The king bed in our room was more like a down pillow; offering no backsupport, and quite uncomfortable! Absolute junk. Tv? When I contacted"Terri"; who I believe was working the front desk, she saidthat she would help when not busy! After 35 minutes I took the tvcontrols to the front desk, only to find Terri visiting with a youngerco-worker and not busy at all. Lazy would be a better choice of words,or useless! If I had the authority, I would have fired this employee onthe spot! I asked for assistance again, and she said that someone wouldbe sent to our room to help with this problem? Finally a younger Latinoemployee came to fix our tv; however; h e said I do not speak goodEnglish; so could not assist finding cnn? I was then sent to the frontdesk again to have a channel guide printed, and inconveniencing non-other, than Terri! Note: Devin provided 15 % off our bill at checkout!

Review 54:Subsequent to two days being miserable, we met Devin, apparently asstmanager who both apologized and moved us to a comfortable room ourlast night!

Review 55:Perfect if you have little kids. My kids spent more time out back in the play area than in the pool. Great breakfast, clean sheets, spacious rooms, updated bathroom. The carpets could have been cleaner, but Moab is all about the outdoors and some of that is going to make it back to the carpet so very understandable.

Review 56:Rooms have very thin walls-- Each new arrival woke us up late into the night. Lots of ambient light streaming under the door, and inner curtains were broken. Pool is completely uninviting, and hot tub not so much either. Quite expensive for what was offered.

Review 57:Location was closest to Arches NP. Nice to have a shuttle bus to take you to town. Full hot breakfast was pretty good. You don't go to Moab for the hotels.

Review 58:The hotel is right next to a busy highway that gets filled up with large trucks very early in the morning.

Review 59:The staff was very flexible when we asked to modify our reservation. We'd arrived later than expected into town and wanted to move our reservation from wednesday to monday, which they did quite graciously.

Review 60:As we checked out late and in a hurry, we left two outdoor coats on the chairs in my room. When we called back, the manager and the housekeeping team said they had never seen my coats in room, and they did show enough patience on my inquiry, just put off with excuses. It is an unacceptable and dishonourable act, really shame on you guys!!!!!!!

Review 61:Really shame on you guys!!!!!!!

Review 62:Room was clean & included everything we needed. We also liked having 3 queen beds in one room. We planned to hike in the parks so we liked the location being near Arches & Canyonlands.

Review 63:Bed was worn out. When we complained they replaced the mattress with one that was of very poor quality--hard as a rock. Beds in Thailand are notoriously firm, but this was harder. Hot tub jets in our room only worked intermittently. They did not fix them after we complained. Breakfast was terrible.

Review 64:Good location and clean rooms

Review 65:The only one thing the coffeepot did not work. they did bring up another right away. Then that one did not work. We just gave up on coffee in the room.

Review 66:Everyone one was friendly & helpful

Review 67:The location was very quiet. Not too far from town but you need to drive there. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good and staff very willing to help.

Review 68:Breakfast was very average. Staff a bit sad and showing it. But helpful when asked.

Review 69:Good hotel - located on the outskirts of Moab - closer to the national park entrance

Review 70:Great location.Room was really nice and customer service was great. We did inquire about their shuttle, and parked our car, and was picked up and dropped off. Awesome. Nice and close to get downtown and walk through Moab.

Review 71:Too far from town to walk to eat or shop. Rooms tidy but ordinary and noisy. Breakfast plenty but routine. Overall a budget feel.

Review 72:Swimming pool was a real bonus.

Review 73:Water takes a while to drain in the tub.

Review 74:Good breakfast, employees were fast to replenish breakfast when low. Good place to stay cause only few hotels has family room that can accomodate 6 adults.

Review 75:Quite high price in comparison with other hotels/motels we stayed in in Moab. You have to take your car to go to town for dining or shopping.

Review 76:Big and tasteful decorated room with fridge and microwave. Good bed and very quiet. Tastfull breakfast. Very close to entry Arches NP.

Review 77:Breakfast coffee was lousy but they have a cafe where you can pay for a decent cup of coffee

Review 78:Very accommodating! Secure and convenient bike storage. Pool was clean and refreshing. Beds comfy and large shower room. Loved the location, quiet, beautiful scenery, lots of extras like playground, grill/picnic area, nice pool.

Review 79:Uncomfortable bed

Review 80:Good location for Arches National Park, which was our main reason for trip. clean room in need of an update (i.e. Light switches) friendly staff but only experience was check in/out.

Review 81:They even had the SD card for our camera--after having purchased one downtown that did not fit!!! Breakfasts were adequate--rooms comfortable--and assistance was given pleasantly.

Review 82:Booking.com did not inform the Aarchway Inn of my reservation. When I arrived they had no idea who I was. Luckily they had 1 room left and got me into it.

Review 83:Great location, great facility.

Review 84:We really only needed a place to sleep, while traveling through Moab. Didn't really get to take advantage of all they had to offer. Beds were comfortable. Best were the cookies at the front desk.

Review 85:Booking.com did not send our reservation for 2 rooms, only one.Fortunately the mgr. Was able to find a second room for us. It wasrather embarrassing as the hotels in Moab were all full.

Review 86:Large, comfortable rooms. Beautiful bathrooms. Great breakfast. Veryfriendly staff.

Review 87:It is a beautiful establishment. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helped us out when we needed help. Check in and out was fast and easy.

Review 88:Our room did not have a king size bed, which would have been preferred.

Review 89:The location and setting are perfect for a visit to Moab and the parks in the area. The outdoor space is lovely with a good sized pool and outdoor barbeque facilities for guests to use.

Review 90:We were hoping to be more down town but we're only there one night so we couldn't complain too bad.

Review 91:Great rooms. Ac unit definitely works.. Husband turned it way down when we left and was ice cold when we got back. Great beds, good breakfast, great place.

Review 92:Nothing to complain about

Review 93:Very spacious, very clean, homy room with window that could be opened (great for fresh air during the night). Spacious, modern, very clean bathroom. Good breakfast. Great pool, comparably large. Great location right in between downtown Moab and Arches National Park.

Review 94:We enjoyed our stay and the room was a good size and very comfortable. Though the hotel is slightly out of Moab itself, there is a free minibus shuttle to town which is useful.

Review 95:I fell getting into the bathtub because the bathmat did not grip. I was a little disappointed because they did not offer my any compensation for this it did affect my next couple of days as my leg was bruised and my back was very sore.

Review 96:the bed on the second day was terrible. it smelled and was uncomfortable. inexcusable. but for that, I would have rated this facility high. also, having told them that, they should have offered some compensation, being unacceptable. and they didn't at all.

Review 97:It would be nice to have instruction sheet for the cable remote. We couldn't get it to work.

Review 98:The room was comfortable and roomy. The decor was enjoyable and tasteful.

Review 99:Everything was great.

Review 100:Great views, great pool, great staff, great breakfast, larger than normal rooms, washers/driers, hot tub, plus super quiet and peaceful. We stayed during a cross-country trip but we might actually return just to relax and enjoy the area because the hotel was so great.

Review 101:Decor is somewhat dated, but gorgeous stone in bathroom.

Review 102:Comfy beds, beautiful pool. Convenient laundry facilities. Allowed to borrow a cork screw. Southwestern theme throughout. Good selection at breakfast- average food quality. Open early 6am for adventurers.

Review 103:Last minute spot we stumbled upon, took a risk and were so excited about our choice! The facility is amazing. We wish we found the park in the back sooner!

Review 104:5 hours long stay unfortunately so we did not time to enjoy our stay at the hotel. Great location and nice hotel, but we arrived late and went for sunrise to Arches National Park.

Review 105:I did not mind at all but you need to drive, taxi or ride bike to downtown.

Review 106:location, pool, staff. Located in a quieter area right outside of downtown (restaurants and tee shirt stores) but only a minute or two away (maybe just a little longer than a walk). It is very close (almost next door) to Moab Burger, a must try!

Review 107:The air conditioner went on and off all night and was noisy. The breakfast eggs and potatoes were cold.

Review 108:Location close to park and town. Nice breakfast room

Review 109:Breakfast great. Pool just big enough to cool off. Just out of town so very close to arches. Moab burger/atomic lounge very close. Easy into town for restaurants like the spoke and moab brewery.

Review 110:Location near national park entrances. It's not exactly in the center of town but Moab is a small place and if you are there, you'll probably have a car. 3 min drive to center of town.

Review 111:The decorations of the hotel are a little oldfashioned.

Review 112:The hotel is located in a beautiful area with gorgeous views. The pool and its settings are very pretty and well taken care of. There is a nice picnic-BBQ area for the guests. Large rooms.

Review 113:Pretty pricy room. Parking situation. And a lot of Mosquitos at night. Noisy rooms.

Review 114:Quit location (hotel a little bit outside of town), great view. Big breakfast buffet.

Review 115:Besides a very good location to access the nearby national parks, the hotel provided excellent installations for taking a good break in between 2 park visits: pool + hot tub, picnic tables + bbq, playground

Review 116:We thought the breakfast quite poor. The hot breakfast was not hot,and all the utensils were plastic. The fresh fruit option was tinned fruit.

Review 117:The inn is situated very close to the town ,just a short drive.

Review 118:Great location to arches national park. Staff was were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had everything you could want- hot bar with sausage, eggs, potatoes, sausage biscuit and gravy, along with typical breakfast food- cereal, pancakes, muffins etc. very well maintained and decorated!

Review 119:The bed was awful in the hotel so uncomfortable. By the third night could not even sleep in your bed to get up and leave the hotel early

Review 120:Very clean hotel friendly staff nice outside sitting area

Review 121:I like staying here when in Moab because the staff is always friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is really good. It's a nice change from staying at big hotel chains.
