Reviews for Fairyland Cave Hotel

Review 1:The staff especially the manager Bülent was extremely helpful and friendly. He made arrangements for tours and transport during our holiday and made sure we had everything we needed.

Review 2:- The cave may get a little bit humid, when the heat is on, but this is not a fault of the hotel of course. This is the nature of the structure. - Just an advice: although the staff is extremely helpful with whatever you need, they still should supply a kettle and cups in each room for tea and coffee.

Review 3:Unique cave experience. very quiet, relaxing, amazing view and atmosphere. Many thanks to the principle, Bulent, Bahar and Huseyin. They are very accommodative and helpful with our plans.

Review 4:It's better to do something to improve the shower head.

Review 5:On the balcony, you could see hot air ballon flying over your head and say hello to the people in busket. Amazing. Bulent is brilliant and very helpful. I and my family enjoy our stay very much.

Review 6:Nothing bad about this place at all.....its a very special place

Review 7:These guys are like family...they definitely go the extra mile to ensure your stay is amazing....they helped me book my tours....I had to do nothing but be be ready to be collected...even for dinner one night....and that was superb too......I would definitely stay here again...I felt welcomed and they are the nicest guys...one of my best stays anywhere...and I've stayed in very many places on my travels

Review 8:Room should be bigger, breakfast should be better and there should be meal options for guests staying so far away from the city center

Review 9:Bulent is the king of Kapadokya! Great staff and excellent location!

Review 10:Excellent service & support provided by staff, specially by Bulent, infact he helped to organise site seeting and also car for rest of our trip in Turkey...felt like we are all a family.

Review 11:Nothing

Review 12:Perfect Place to spot Hot air balloon from ground even from your room window Incredible Panoramic View since the location of the hotel is almost on the top of cavusin Hills Super Friendly staff that treat us like a family

Review 13:The breakfast, the very friendly staff, we even got breakfast the first day after our 12 hour nightbus, he arranged all our trips, nothing was to much, the balloonflight...

Review 14:good location. kind boss and staff. we enjoy your perfect services and help us book hot air balloon, bus ticket and green tour.Mr. mehmet went up to the roof of the mountain together with us, visited ancient church and told us its history. unforgetable memory and experience. Thanks for you all~

Review 15:Really everything was perfect

Review 16:Location is great. At night you feel you live at moon and hear just bird voices. Room was so clean and comfortable They made a good suprise by wine and roses for our honeymoon Their advices for trip helped us a lot We should also say that we had limited time for first day and they took us to avanos and urgup by their car. Choosed maybe the best restaurant for dinner. if you like romance and privacy i offer

Review 17:Nothing.

Review 18:Great ambiance. If you are get bored the all included-very touristic and plastic experiences while you are traveling, Fairyland Cave Hotel is the best alternative in Cappadocia region. It is really well-decorated, has a great concept, located in the middle of the valleys of the region. The staff is really great, very hospital and respectful. With the service you get, you can feel easily that it is a well-managed hotel. Every time you need, the hotel staff will be helpful and make you feel valuable. Hotel Manager Bulent Bey, literally knows every key person in the region and tourism business really well, that's why; he can help you about everything you would like to do during your stay. Mehmet Bey, who is the owner of the facility, is well educated, intellectual and experienced person, you can always seek for his company not only for your stay or travel, but also to enjoy your time in Cappadocia by accompanying with a really nice person.

Review 19:Friendly humour people, special beautiful cave hotel, really rich breakfast. Give us a lot of help and useful suggestions on the tour. Thank you so much.

Review 20:Because we should say something here: the lack of international TV channel, but honestly, we were not there for that.... Parce qu'il faut bien dire quelque chose: le manque de chaine TV international (TV5, BBC ou autre...). Mais bon, nous n'etions pas la pour ca non plus, alors...

Review 21:The location, the "real" cave room with light from outside, the view. The very friendly staff. And because it is located in Cavusin and not Goreme, it is very quiet at night.

Review 22:Location, atmosphere, service, staff, breakfast, design, view and free bicycle. I give 10 points. Don't loose time by searching further. I have visited Cappadocia several times in the past, but this is the best facility I have stayed and if I visit the area again I definitely stay again in this hotel. Fully recommended.

Review 23:Finely decorated boutique hotel sitting on the hill very close to the Cavusin church with beautiful view. Extremely friendly staff and hotel owner. Very helpful during the whole stay and almost everything is above expectation. The only suggestion I could give is to add hot water kettle and tea cups in the room.

Review 24:The noise from the ballons that are flying over your head and wake you up every morning..- i am just kidding of course..-

Review 25:I have booked a lot of hotels from booking.com but it is the first time that i put 10l! If you are planning to visit kapadokya, you will not find better hotel to stay-believe me!-than this. Mr. Mehmet and Mr. Bulent will arrange for you everything and make your holidays dreamy and unique. Thank you for everything!!

Review 26:we didnt manage to use the wifi, but we believe the problem was coming from our computer.

Review 27:Useful information from a smart owner who manage to keep the real cave atmosphere. Beautiful design inside the cave! Excellent morning breakfast with several homemade products (you can only add fresh juice to make it 5 stars level) .Excellent view all day long , great terrace to see the balloons in the morning.

Review 28:There are many stairs at the property. If you have any walking challenges, you might want to call and discuss with the hotel prior to booking.

Review 29:We stayed here for 3 nights during a visit to Cappadocia. The room was beautiful - very clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. They helped us arrange a tour, taxis to dinner, airport transfers etc. They delivered tea and cake to our room after a long, snowy day and made us breakfast to go when we had to catch an early flight. I would definitely come back.

Review 30:It's built just outside of cave on the hill. So, it would be a cave hotel, literally. The manager of this hotel is quite helpful, kind and faithful. Of course, his English speaking capability was quite good.

Review 31:- Nothing

Review 32:- Approach to hospitality is beyond the best of the usually assumed - Location is geographically, structurally, technologically unique - The aura and soul of Cappadocia is extreemly well experienced from here

Review 33:I was pleased with my stay at this hotel. - Nice and helpful staff. - Clean rooms. - Good turkish breakfast. When I come back to cappedocia, I'll definately stay at this hotel again.

Review 34:Not much to dislike.

Review 35:Location wonderful but if steps are a problem for you then take care there are 95 uneven steps up to the hotel entrance. The rooms are most unusual, all different in style but very well furnished and comfortable. Toilet and bathing facilities clean and efficient. This is a very small hotel with I think 7 rooms but they are considering building more next year. There is no restaurant or bar although you have a fridge stocked with soft drinks and the 2or3 staff will serve you a beer etc if you wish. Cavusin is a small village but does have a very good restaurant - ask at the hotel. Great for viewing the hot air balloons early in the morning.

Review 36:Hospitality They made a good plan for side side seen. They made amazing good balloon tour. Very peaceful place. Everything was perfect during my accommodation.

Review 37:Would have liked air conditioning in the rooms. Transport can also be a bit of an issue being so far out.

Review 38:Memet has put a great deal of effort into every detail in these caves, from branded soaps to the furnishings. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Review 39:The hotel has a magical location, carved within volcanic rocks of Cappadocia, just under an ancient cave church. The terraces in front of your room will have magnificent views, and even without leaving your room you can have a wonderful panorama of Cappadocia valleys. Don't forget to wake up at the sunrise to watch the balloons rising in front of your eyes, just before a delicious breakfast with local food. The hotel owner and staff will be very enthusiastic to guide your stay and organise your sightseeing plans. The decoration of the rooms is quite elegant and chic as well.

Review 40:Just be careful with the tour programme offered. I mean, in the whole city they can cheat with the tour price so it's more expensive than any other place. Also, it's better to take bus than taxi (as the hotel is a few distance from Goreme city).

Review 41:We stayed in Fairyland for 3nights. It's priceworthy, good location with amazing view in the morning and nice place for stargazing at night. Cleanliness was perfect and they were generous with the amenities. They also served very nice Turkish breakfast and you can have it at any time you want. The owner, Mehmet is a humble guy and treated us like family. We will definitely stay here again for holiday.

Review 42:Bülent was extremely helpful with local activities and a friendly chap to talk to! Hotel was among a very nice and peaceful setting.

Review 43:No and no.

Review 44:The boss is so helpful. The location is the best one for my family with a car. Shower water is good. 店主人好态度好心情好!爽=休假愉快。

Review 45:No kettle in room. But can use kitchen to get hot water.

Review 46:Stuff

Review 47:Hotel was really at an excellent location. Staff ia going to do whatever they can to make you enjoy your stay.

Review 48:Nice room The boss is quite helpful with tour advices

Review 49:The room is quite small, not warm ,and the breakfast is not good

Review 50:The staff is very good and friendly

Review 51:Memhet and Bengi were wonderful hosts who made our 4 night stay the most memorable part of our 3 week trip to Turkey. Bilent, their manager, was most helpful. The location was magical and the evenings so very peaceful and calm. The village is very small so you don't get the noise and traffic of the more touristy places, but there were still some very good restaurants. In the mornings you could watch the hot air balloons pass by the hotel and then enjoy breakfasts that were plentiful and delicious. Memhet and his team had plenty of information about the area, with tips on what to see and where to find some of the best hiking routes. There was nothing they couldn't or wouldn't do for us to make the stay perfect. Communication with the hotel was prompt and informative. The rooms were exactly as advertised, although the ambiance of the cave rooms don't show in the pictures... it was very charming. We can't say enough about our trip to Cavusin and the Fairlyand Cave Hotel, we came as tourists and left as friends! Thank you Memhet, Bengi and Bilent for a wonderful holiday.

Review 52:May be very cultural or local, but for me, all women and men are the same, as well as client is always first, the way they talked to my wife on the arrival was putting me in a position of almost leaving the hotel.

Review 53:The owner, Mr. Mehmet is a very friendly guy who gives you a nice explanation of the area and what could you do to enjoy through the weekend. Mr. Buren, has also a nice explanation from the beginning on what are the best options to move around the area. If you are not driving, he can arrange good tour options for you and your family. The hot air balloons suggested by the Hotel is also great and very safe, which is important once you decide to hire one of these services.

Review 54:Such a lovely and peaceful place with warm and kind owners and staff. We had great 3 days in this hotel where we felt like we are in our family house. Strongly recommended...

Review 55:everything was fine

Review 56:design, closeness to one of Kapadokya's early churches, staff exceptional service (specially from Mehmet the owner), facilities and furnishing

Review 57:We stayed here for six nights and it was our first hotel in a 5 weektrip to Turkey. What a fabulous way to start a vacation and no otherplace we stayed could even compare. We loved everything about FairylandCave Hotel including our beautiful room facing east so we could watchthe hot air balloons every morning as they passed over the hotel, thefabulous breakfast that Sandy prepared every morning (Mehmet did a greatjob too!), the fact that we could step outside and walk easily to a 4thcentury church, old Greek houses or hike a number of different trailsthrough this spectacular landscape. I liked that we were staying in asmall village where you could actually talk to the villagers rather thanseeing just hordes of tourists. We rented a car for a few days andvisited most of the towns in the area and I was so glad we choseCavusin. The best thing about Fairyland Cave Hotel is Mehmet, the owner, and Sandy. In all my travels, I have never experienced this degree ofdedication to guests and their needs as here. Thank you for everything!

Review 58:It is a great place, I highly recommend it! Most of all I liked the warmest welcome and support extended to us by Mehmet, his wife and Sandy. We felt as if we were their best friends or relatives, not just hotel guests! The hotel is in the centre of many local attractions: an ancient cave church right above the hotel, very nice panoramic views, and it is between Goreme (make sure you visit the Goreme open air museum), the Rose Valley and Zelve Valley; quad bike station and a horse farm nearby. Fairyland is a new hotel with comfy rooms (partly in real caves!!!), excellent Wi-Fi, tasty breakfast, many TV channels including my favourite Russia Today (RT). Please note you’ll have to use steps from/to where you’ll leave your car/bus, as it is situated high on a hill, but this is a good opportunity to exercise :) Mehmet can deliver your luggage on his quad. The place is peaceful at night, I was even lucky to watch a marten prowling on an illuminated slope below as I stood quietly one night looking down from the hotel yard! And voices of swallows/swifts flying in the sky above the area create a charming atmosphere. The Hotel may book a balloon flight for you (they know reliable balloon companies). I made a mistake by selecting it myself and had unpleasant experience with Kapadokya Balloons. You may want to bring small binoculars to Cappadocia – will be very handy, as well as a pair of hiking boots if you plan to walk in the valleys and climb hills. Local wines are very good by the way! I am sure you’ll enjoy Fairyland and Cappadocia!

Review 59:being up on the hill with great panoramic view to see the sunset has a price..steep stairs to climb up but owner will pick you and lagguage so no need to carry.

Review 60:owner and staff very nice, warm hospitality and extremely helpfull in arranging any activity. Exclusive boutique hotel feeling at very affordable price. Rich breakfast on terrace with a view on the area and if you want to wake up, stunning sunrise view on Airbaloon field. Clean and well decorated room up to the very last detail. village location very good, and quite. An alternative option for the very touristic town, Goreme.

Review 61:We had a wonderful time staying in Fairyland. In fact, this hotel was the best we had stayed in during our 2 weeks trip across 4 cities. Mehmet & team are wonderful hosts, sharing with us many beautiful places to explore in Cappadocia and the Turkish culture/history. The hotel itself is a stone throw to the oldest church in Cappadocia and one of the best spot for Sunset view. The hotel: you can tell Mehmet had put in a lot of effort to decorate this place; from the handmade furniture to the amenities, everything was made sure it provides comfort for guests. Thanks for the great hospitality and letting us know Turkey so much better :)

Review 62:The food & Steps

Review 63:The room with its finishes were excellent.

Review 64:Location is at a great point, rooms are decorated quite pleasant. You would feel just like taking a bath in a cave.

Review 65:the room was very nice and comfortable.
