Reviews for Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club
Review 1:Parking is a little problematic if you prefer to bypass valet.
Review 2:Its an amazing gem hidden just outside of the Atlantic City area that is equal to some top resorts at which I have stayed.
Review 3:Noise all night due to something running out side our window and ppl in the hall till 3 am .589.00 for two nights way over priced.Parking way to far.
Review 4:Room was OK. Not 589.00 worth .
Review 5:Bar attendant (Steve) unhelpful with my wife. Restaurant closed on a Friday night.
Review 6:Hotel, golf course and golf staff. Waiting staff in the bar were excellent.
Review 7:lack of attention to detail as far as room cleanliness. Nickel and diming patrons with resort fee and fee for valet parking. NOISY late at night.
Review 8:The lobby decor, the bar in the lobby, the unday brunch
Review 9:Bedroom was big but lacked character. Needed some interior Design assistance. Fine dining not available in the hotel. Only dinner available was is a small grille room which lacked atmosphere and a very limited and overpriced menu. Fine for golfers after a game but not evening dinner in a relaxing environment.
Review 10:Bathroom layout was very good. Liked breakfast in the Main Dining Room. Golf on the Bay course was very good with course in excellent condition.
Review 11:The place could do with a some modernisation, carpets bedding and bathrooms one day there was a breakfast buffet, the next there was not, without explanation...
Review 12:Good golf , two very different courses both well worth playing, staff friendly and a history of celebrities using the place.
Review 13:I wish the main dining room was open for dinner. They obviously have talented chefs. The breakfast buffet was first class.
Review 14:Impeccable groundskeeping and outside amenities. Warm and accommodating staff. Great food. Wonderful grand old hotel with style and elegance.
Review 15:We loved the resort. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and they sent us a card and assorted desserts to our room to celebrate. What a pleasant surprise! We loved the staff and the entire experience was a total pleasure. We will return!
Review 16:Beautiful dining room, not open for dinner. Bldg needs upgrading. Better trained housekeeping staff. Better pool maintenance. Stingy with towels.
Review 17:Location. Golf course. History of bldg.
Review 18:The TV remote ceased to work and there was no solution to that. The shower did not have hot water although the sink did. We found the Grille room unappealing. It would be nice if inexpensive foods were available during the day. Guests should be informed of the general facilities when they arrive as opposed to a typed sheet.
Review 19:Seaview was a nice , quiet getaway from the craziness of Atlantic City and the grounds were impeccable. The staff was very friendly. We were here on our 21st anniversary and I know we will return. The rooms were nicely appointed and very clean. Our stay was very pleasant but we see some opportunities for minor improvements.
Review 20:Can't think of a thing.
Review 21:I was visiting family nearby, the location was perfect. I'm not a golfer but the opportunities to learn the game, and the variety of courses were appealing. The food, wine choices, room service, very friendly staff, the comfortable bed, and the beautiful view - all reasons to like being at the Seaview. Relaxed, informal, well run.
Review 22:The dining, both dinner and breakfast, were superb, and the accommodations, while not modern, felt warming.
Review 23:Self parking too far from hotel. Extra charges for room service tool high.
Review 24:Rooms and food
Review 25:Location and facilities were really great
Review 26:The rooms and the buildings are tired! The first room smelled of smoke. The staff moved us and gave an upgrade.
Review 27:The staff were accommodating.
Review 28:The price
Review 29:The beds and robes
Review 30:I think the price was very expensive for the area.
Review 31:Warm old fashioned atmosphere with youthful service..
Review 32:The room was beautiful and the pool and pool area were very clean. Front desk staff was great. You allow pets! We did not know that before our trip.

Review 40:Ran out of complementary coffee in the morning. I enjoy reading the papers in the front sitting room and having a cup.
Review 41:Gym, Pool, Room, Wi-Fi, breakfast in the lounge, beautiful sitting room in the entrance.
Review 42:It's dissapointing that the beautiful large dining room is not available for dinner. However, I'll come back in the summer when it is used.
Review 43:I love this place, I keep coming back. It's steeped in history and beautiful.
Review 44:First of all when I first arrived at the hotel Vanessa was not pleasantat all. The room was not clean properly. The was no bell man to helpwith our luggage.
Review 45:The only thing I like was dealing with Michael the overnight staff. Hewas very pleasant.
Review 46:I didn't like that we couldn't get the room for the same price as our friends, because we didn't say we were there for the Bruton wedding, I didn't like that you lost our reservation, I didn't like that we weren't informed before arrival that there would be no breakfast buffett, I hated the mattress and the loudness in the hallway throughout the night.
Review 47:I liked the look and the room.
Review 48:The only thing that "happened" was that we were mistakenlycharged for valet service -- my husband and I really don't care forvalet service, and only use it when it is absolutely mandatory.
Review 49:The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The staff were helpful, andpolite. We had a dinner that was excellent; well prepared, and tasty. Wehad the breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and everythingwas fresh, tasty, and the omelets made to order. My husband used the gymand said the equipment met his expectations--we would have broughtbathing suits, but didn't realize there was in indoor pool when wemade the reservations.
