Reviews for Rustic Inn
Review 1:Not enough ekectrical outlets to charge all the gadgets.
Review 2:The room was large and comfortable. The room had a full size refridgerator and microwave. There was plenty of counter safe and storage. The beds were comfotable.
Review 3:Staff not friendly- didn't respond to questions about AAA discounts. Room rate seemed high but maybe normal for Moab in autumn.
Review 4:Clean and modern. Right next to paved trail. Full size fridge and microwave.
Review 5:Lighting over the mirrors was not good enough for makeup application. That feature could definitely be improved. Having to use a kitchen sink for brushing teeth and other hygiene is awkward, but we understood the space constraints of providing some kitchen amenities in a building of older design.
Review 6:Room was clean and the furniture/beds/cabinets were in very good repair. Liked having a larger refrigerator. TV was very nice and accommodated an HDMI connection to a laptop.
Review 7:There must have been a cat in the room previously because I had the worst allergic reaction
Review 8:the room was huge, it would be a great place to go if you can stay a week.
Review 9:You can expect the same what you have seen on the photos. Great and beautiful accomodation with a nice view. Breakfast is really special and tasty. I can suggest to everybody.
Review 10:We would have liked a kitchenette.
Review 11:Great location. The hotel was off the main road which made for a quiet stay, but still close enough to walk to the restaurents and shops.
Review 12:Was here in late October so too cold for outdoor pool but my muscles could have used a hot tub.
Review 13:Staff was super helpful. Had to check in after office hours, they left the keys for me taped to office window. Very friendly and made great food recommendations. Beds were one of the most comfortable I've slept in!! Walking distance to downtown and not a far drive to Arches NP.
Review 14:This motel is centrally located. Room are equipped with a basic kitchen, it was clean, great beds and very welcoming staff. We were on our Harleys so being able to park our bikes right outside our door was a bonus!!
Review 15:The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. The bathroom was kind of an odd setup, with a kitchen sink doubling as the bathroom sink, but it was nice to have the kitchenette, so all in all a fair trade.
Review 16:Great, quiet location off of the main street. Large, quiet, clean rooms. Comfy beds and good parking. 5 mins walk to the great Moab Diner. Arches and Canyon lands very close.
Review 17:Having no sink in the bathroom, therefore having to wash my teeth in the same sink you use for dishes. Having a rotten through bathroom door that has a gap on the lower part and has been tried to be repaired with plastic sheeting in a sloppy unprofessional manner.
Review 18:WAY overpriced! Had double sink with a kitchen area with larger refrigerator and dishes but that's where you brushed your teeth and shaved. Parking was hard to get in and out of. No breakfast included.
Review 19:Lots of tv channels.
Review 20:Although the facility is not fancy-looking on the outside, the rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. We had almost a full kitchen in ours. The laundry was convenient. The area was quiet, a block off the main drag, but easy walking distance to restaurants and stores. Wifi was good.
Review 21:Two weird things. Coffee pot on top of microwave-had to be moved to desk to use. Coffee was terrible. Didn't taste anything like coffee-maybe it wasn't! No idea of brand. No bathroom sink-used kitchen sink, felt uncomfortable.Think the closet should be removed and bathroom sink added
Review 22:Huge room, lots of space, large desk, large fridge, double kitchen sink, dishes, leather sofa. Comfy beds. Easy walk to restaurants. Great air conditioning, great wifi. Helpful host at checkin.
Review 23:Breakfast in America is almost always fat, sweet and unhealthy. This hotel is no exception. House keeping missed to make the beds and empty trash cans the second day - not a big deal. We got new towels though.
Review 24:Nice clean hotel a short drive from Arches National Park. Liked the outdoor pool. Ample free parking.
Review 25:The room has a bad smell. Whenever the people from the room above take shower, we can hear the noise of the water running and it's really loud.
Review 26:The location is good. It's easy to access to the Arch National Park
Review 27:Gap at the door so you could see outside light when room was dark. Read that in other post but did not think I would get that room. Would have felt safer without that gap but I would stay there again as the pros outweigh the cons.
Review 28:Great location one short block off Main Street. Easy walk to dining/ shopping. Three blocks from grocery store. Regular size refridgerator and dishes/utensils and coffee and maker. Had large outside pool but we were too tired to use it.
Review 29:I liked it. May not appeal to many used to big chains.
Review 30:The Rustic Inn was perfect for Moab. The room was clean & comfortable. The staff was very helpful in offering good dining choices. It's location right downtown made it easy to explore & have fun.
Review 31:Weird that the kitchen sink was also the barhroom sink. Made it hard to sort the toiletries. But, we made it work.
Review 32:Great location, clean and great staff.
Review 33:The worst thing was the ceiling lights were fluorescent but I used the table lamps instead which made the room comfortable.
Review 34:Older motel but very well kept. Clean. Nice rooms. The owners obviously care a lot about the place. Lots of little nice extras like a large TV, full-size fridge, microwave, real dishes.
Review 35:Big room. Big fridge/freezer. Kitchenette with plates/glasses so you can make your own breakfast. Helpful staff. Not far from supermarket and nice Thai restaurant.
Review 36:The outside of the building is a bit rundown. Also, it was advertised as having a kitchenette, which was really just a microwave and fridge, though they did supply plates and silverware. The "kitchen" mirror was the only mirror, and the light source was located overhead from behind (the middle of the kitchen area); the lighting made it hard for me to shave my face, and I'm sure it would make putting on makeup a little harder as well.
Review 37:The location is key. It's just far enough from the main street to be quiet while in the room, but it's a short walk to restaurants. Only a few miles from tourist destinations. There was a large refrigerator (for a motel) and everything was clean.
Review 38:No breakfast, no bathroom sink (had to use kitchen) no hair blower, floor swept but not mopped (dirty) and ants on kitchen counter ....
Review 39:large room with large full kitchen and large fridge in great location.... One block from main downtown shops and restaurants ...
Review 40:Not keen on the double sink washing facilities. Never keen to wash myself in front of others. This was made worse by the sinks being alongside each other with no chance of any privacy.
Review 41:The swimming pool is excellent; especially when the sun is shining!
Review 42:No bath basin, we had to wash mouth in the kitchen sink (!). Maybe a good arrangement for the Fronteer men ... No elevator, loading our many baggage bags on the second floor and back was uncomfortable. No breakfast room. Price too high for value.
Review 43:Comfortable room with exceptions. Close to the visiting locations. Close to Moab main street. Easy parking.
Review 44:The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The entrance looks a bit tired but behind that it was great. The rooms were quiet and being away from the. Ain street helped. Walking distance to Main Street - a few hundred feet only. Plenty of local eateries as well as an excellent supermarket 2 blocks away.
Review 45:We only stayed two nights - wish we had spent more time.
Review 46:Fantastic location one block back from the Main Street so very quiet. Full size fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery provided as well as lots of storage space. Helpful staff. Nice pool area. Great base for exploring the national parks.
Review 47:No bathroom sink and the TV was horrible.
Review 48:It was okay. No bathroom sink, so you had to brush your teeth in the kitchen sink. I wouldn't book there again.
Review 49:Wifi a little slow - but so cares. Disconnect!!
Review 50:This is a perfect cozy wonderful little place Breakfast a plus. Super friendly. We will be back and wish we could have stayed longer. You can't go wrong
Review 51:The staff had already charged the credit card by the time we arrived we were not to pay until check out, the first night staff was rude. The rest of staff was polite
Review 52:The room was clean, beds were comfortable.
Review 53:Décor was a little outdated but nothing big. The only complaint would be that the bathroom didn't have a separate sink, just the sink that was in the "kitchen" area.
Review 54:Rooms were large and clean and air conditioner worked really well. Easily located just one block of main street. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurant.
Review 55:There wasn't a sink in the bathroom, which we thought was odd, but not agrivating since there was one located just outside of the bathroom in the kitchenette.
Review 56:Location to hking was great. The check in person, Melissa, was very nice and steered us in the direction of a very good eatery. Despite the fact that this Motel is older, it was comfortable and the complimentery WiFi worked flawlessly, which says something compared to some of the big chain places. We didn't mind that breakfast wasn't offered, because then we wouldn't have discovered the Diner down the road.
Review 57:Good location just off the main street of Moab. Able to walk to restaurants and stores without having to move the vehicle or drive through town. Lots of closet room and liked having the full size refrigerator in the room as well as microwave, especially with two teenage boys who needed to snack plus able to have breakfast in room before heading out in the morning for hiking.
Review 58:The kitchen sink doubled up as the bathroom sink in the room we stayed in (bathroom just had a toilet and shower/bathtub; no sink or mirror). But that was just a minor inconvenience -- for the money, cleanliness, location and staff, well worth it!
Review 59:Comfortable, clean, and just a one block walk from the central aspect of the stores and restaurants on Main Street.
Review 60:The clerk was very nice and very helpful with our stay there fro 1 night. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Nice walking distance to main street.
Review 61:Great location if you want to visit Dead Horse Point, Arches and Canyonlands. Nice staff who helped us with our questions. The swimming pool is a plus after walking all day in the parks. Good kitchenette although we were expecting more kitchen utensils to cook.
Review 62:Floors were a bit cool being tile, but it's also warmer in Moab.
Review 63:The front desk lady was very helpful and giving. Hotel room itself was clean and spacious. The grounds were nice.
Review 64:One of the people in the office was not warm, friendly or particularly helpful. The other one was wonderful. They were there at different times.
Review 65:Cleanliness and location
Review 66:It was clean, comfortable and located in a quiet part of the town, while not being too far away. It also had a great swimming pool. The room was also great for 5 people, and with laundry facilities
Review 67:Full size fridge with freezer. Nice pool. Clean grounds. Decent room. Clean. Allowed us a late departure (noon) at no extra charge - greatly appreciated!!
Review 68:I liked every minute there.
Review 69:What a great place. We liked it so much we booked another night, and would have booked two more but the place was already booked full. Great staff, so accommodating and helpful. So very clean and roomy. This was a wonderful place for my family.
Review 70:The only bad thing was the price but with an event taking place in Moab that weekend we were expecting the rates to be high.
Review 71:Based off the name of the establishment (Rustic Inn Motel) my fiancé and I were not expecting our room to be that nice. It was outdated but amazing otherwise.
Review 72:The front desk staff person was not particularly friendly or helpful. They also don't staff the desk at night or early in the morning; since the ice machine is in the area where the front desk is, that means that ice isn't available at those times.
Review 73:The location so close to both downtown Moab and Arches is a definite plus.
Review 74:When I called to say we would be arriving about 9 pm the lady that answered the phone was very nice and said the office was open till 11pm. A few days later I learned that she had been working double shifts due to someone being ill, and in spite of that she was always helpful and extremely pleasant.
Review 75:Beds were a little hard, but the pillows were like concrete. Bring your own!
Review 76:The hotel was quiet and spotless. Nice sized rooms with great AC. Just a block off the main road through town. Beautiful flowers. Well cared for.
Review 77:No hot water not even lukewarm! Parking was terrible. No place to plug in cords as the hotel used extension cords to plug in appliances. No bathroom sink, had to use kitchen sink.
Review 78:The way the sink is the kitchen sink is rather strange.
Review 79:I could see that this would be a nice place to stay over an extended time to do the parks in the area.
Review 80:Our room smelled strongly of bleach when we Checked in. Only complaint.
Review 81:This is our second stay here. It's a well maintained property. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean (housekeeping did a nice job of making our beds, including an extra rollaway). Pool area is clean and family friendly. Office staff very helpful.
Review 82:We arrived in the rain. I asked if our room was upstairs, since we had a lot of luggage and it was raining. The girl at the desk helped us relocate to downstairs, and gave us a suite at no extra charge! Too bad we were only there one day. She also gave us a recommendation for dinner that was excellent!
Review 83:Alcohol is only sold in licensed liquor stores in Utah do not try and buy from Supermarket!
Review 84:Homely could make our own meal, and sit in a comfortable outside area
Review 85:The fridge made loud noises all nite, so didn't sleep all weekend. The bed seemed like double and not a queen. Not enough room for two adults. Then when the ac recycled each time, it made dripping noises during the whole usage.
Review 86:Kitchen was clean but with crummy coffee.
Review 87:No breakfast. Office does not open until 7am. Ice machine only in office. Room lighting is flouresant office fixture lighting. No bathroom sink, only kitchen sink.
Review 88:Convenient location
Review 89:We were surprised to have an almost complete kitchen in our room: microwave, large refrigerator, dishes, sink, and dish soap. The only thing missing were enough chairs for 4 people to eat.
Review 90:Bed was comfortable, make sure to ask for extra pillows, pillows provided are thin.
Review 91:Clean and quiet location right in the center of town. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Review 92:Room was dark if you wanted privacy. Sink was in kitchen area, with no sink in bathroom, which was odd.
Review 93:This motel is inexpensive for Moab, but clean, well air conditioned, close to nice restaurants, etc. We made use of the laundry--the motel provided soap and dryer sheets. room was quiet and the beds were comfortable.
Review 94:I liked that it was off the main street and that you could walk to many places in the town. I loved having the kitchen sink and a regular refrigerator with freezer. It was easy to find and to drive in and out of.
Review 95:Breakfast not served at motel. We had to go down the road. We were provided with coffee and coffee maker.
Review 96:We liked the cleanliness of the entire place. Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable room.
Review 97:Minor gripe ... Oddly placed electrical outlets. I had to think hard to complain.
Review 98:Location, laundry, lots of towels, wifi connection that actually works! Not fancy or mod, but just right for what we needed.
Review 99:Possible noise problems-across from the picnic area, you may hear noisy people through your window. Also loud pipes
Review 100:Off main road a block, so no traffic noise. Also can walk behind the motel past a creek and bike path to get to stores and restaurants quickly. Also the walls are thick so no noises through them
Review 101:Was a quaint place. I loved the kitchenet, made meals a bit easier. Used the BBQ once, was a delight to have. The pool was a bit cold even on a hot day. Would come back for sure.
Review 102:TV was a little to big (if that is possible). There was a nice kitchenette, but no means of heating anything (except a microwave).
Review 103:It was a very big room, which was nice. Had the biggest TV we have ever seen in a hotel and a full size fridge along with a kitchenette. It is nice quite place of the main road.
Review 104:While it was very nice to have a kitchen in the unit there is no place to eat unless you go outside to the picnic tables. Not a big deal but thought I would mention it.
Review 105:Could walk to all of the stores and restaurants in town Room was spacious and comfortable. Very clean and large flat screen TV
Review 106:no stove, but huge sink in kitchen area, no washbasin in bathroom!
Review 107:Location, regular size fridge, good stocked cupboard in room. Papers coffee, tea and hot chocolate in common room. Laundry room on site!
Review 108:There wasn't a bathroom vanity, so you had to use the kitchen sink for that instead. Was priced to high, but everything in that area was expensive.
Review 109:It was a very big room, which was nice with four people. Had the biggest TV I've ever seen in a hotel and a full size fridge along with a kitchenette, but we did not need any of these things.
Review 110:Day manager was very rude and seemed as if she was put out to help us and that we were taking up her time.
Review 111:Great central location for why we were there.
Review 112:There was no wash basin in the bathroom, so after you used the facilities, you had to wash in the kitchen sink. Oh, maybe that wasn't a kitchen as there was no stove, just a very small microwave. Dark, small room with no chairs.
Review 113:It was the cheapest place, so I didn't expect much. The smell of chemical cleaners was overpowering in the room - way overdone by the cleaning staff. It worked, but it wasn't really comfortable.
Review 114:The location one block from the heart of Main Street was great.
Review 115:Deep gravel is NOT a good idea with motorcycles...scrape away the gravel in the parking lot. There is a food trailer thingy, with excellent tasting food, but eating out in the open when it it cool or the wind is blowing is NOT cool. It's just too damn cold to enjoy the food from the guys operating the trailer. The fire pits should be burning with temps at 60* or lower to cut the wind chill. The temp while we were there was 55* with a stiff South wind blowing making the wind chill in the upper 40's...not enjoyable at all.
Review 116:It is out of town in the middle of no where. No noise and no traffic
Review 117:Nothing
Review 118:Location was great, in town but not on the main road so it was quiet. Pool was good. Rooms were good as it had a full size fridge and freezer. The staff were very helpful, they organised my horseriding and helped to sort out a problem with rafting on the Colerado. Food in town was good and a reasonable price at both Zaks and the Moab Brewery. We ate in the bar both times so didn't have to wait for a table. It is a first come first served basis. City market great range of food. Huge range of adventure activities to do around Moab.
Review 119:The bathroom doesn't have any sink, so you have to use the sink in the kitchenette, which doesn't have a stove but only a microwave. Smell of dust in the room.
Review 120:Spacious room. Big fridge. Good location.
Review 121:The bathroom lacks a sink. You use the kitchenette sink. There was no dish washing towels or things to use to clean the dishes.
Review 122:Staff helpful, we messed up our reservation thinking we had an extra day and despite being full they made it work that we could stay.
Review 123:The room had a very weird smell. It was in need of updating.
Review 124:The location was convenient to downtown and easy access to the Arches National Park. The linen was fresh and clean.
Review 125:Not much bad to say,
Review 126:Great room for the cost, easy walk downtown but off the main road so no traffic noise, clean, plenty of space and the added little kitchenette was perfect. Wifi worked well and staff did a great job all around.
Review 127:The motel its situated only 1 minute away from shops and restaurants, and only a few minutes drive to Arches and Canyonlands national parks, despite the location , its very quiet and the views to the mountains are stunning
Review 128:N/A
Review 129:The staff there was nice and the room was clean with a tiny kitchen. It has a good location as well, only 10 mins by drive to Arches Park, and walking distance to most of nice restaurants and shoppers. Strongly recommended...
