Review 1：room was very dated and needs a complete refurbishment-------mattress was old &sagging-----carpet was old,-----wall light fixture needed furniture under it and was plugged into an outlet around the corner. just a "tired old" room.

Review 5：We complained about the lack of TV reception and the maintenance guy told us they only pay for enough service for about 2% of their rooms. We were moved to another room which they promised the TV would work, it didn't and from talking to other guests reception was the same in every room. They did upgrade us to an Executive suite with nice perks like a mini-fridge, microwave and a more comfortable bed. No restaurant, but the continental breakfast was nice.

Review 7：but a few were not helpful at all when I reported repeatedly that my bed was so bad I could not sleep. It was very complicated for me to get a refund for the days I hadn't yet stayed so I stayed on in a totally unacceptable bed, but only because I spoke to the wrong people, the few who weren't helpful, Couldn't sleep. I learned that the establishment is under new management since I was last there and that it will be totally renovated shortly.

Review 8：Most of the staff were lovely and some very special (such as the drivers of the shuttle) just like the first time I stayed there, the fireplace is attractive and comforting. The breakfast is fine and the person in charge of keeping everything ready and supplied a delight. There is a homey atmosphere.

Review 9：Room was not cleaned well: gum on headboard of bed, hairs on bathroom floor and in tub, sticky mess on TV console, food (?) spots on wall and ceiling, lumpy red something on carpet on bathroom floor. Yuck! Lobby looks like it needs to be totally refurbished: stains on carpet and sofas.

Review 11：We always stay at your place when we take our daughter to Shands which is 2 to 4 times a yr. We love the breakfast..lounge with free drinks and location. We look forward to our stay there because of all those things. In fact we were there in Nov.and will be back in March.

Review 17：Morning coffee...couldn't believe how terrible it was. To add insult to injury...No half-n-half...some sort of flavored fake creamer or 2% milk available. Breakfast food also ran out and was not re-filled in reasonable amount of time. No bus/van available for transport to college football games, when most of the guests have to travel to game in their own cars. Please consider leasing a bus and charging your lodgers, who would be willing to pay extra for the convenience.

Review 29：Rooms need updating, maybe due to the amount of kids passing through. Carpet in room stained, odor of carpet freshening spray almost overwhelming at first. Curtains didn't close for privacy - only sheers (shocked about that actually). Did not partake in wine or beer. Figured the parents of all the kids running around the gathering area needed it more.

Furniture in lobby was threadbare, courtyard needs to be cleaned up, elevator was slow and noisy, managers reception consisted of popcorn and open bar. Sketchy clientele...one man was escorted out of managers reception. We were told he's homeless and wanders in often. Others were walking around in pajama bottoms and bare feet and told us the hotel gives discounts to patients from hospital nearby. Air conditioning unit has to be turned on by switch along lower wall. (Had to call desk to learn that.)

Review 37：The maid service was terrible!! We stayed 5 days and rented 2 rooms for 6 people. The maid knocked on the door 1 day and we were not ready at 8:30am. She never returned all week. The beds were never made, we had to grab spare toilet paper off a cart since we ran out, no refills on shampoo, garbage cans were overflowing and we had to call for clean/dry towels. Worst service ever.

Review 43：Dated and old and unexceptional room for the $. No guide on the TV for what is currently playing just paper, old, and somewhat incorrect paper guide for channels. When I called the operator for help I was told incorrectly there was a guide on a certain channel. When I called back to say that wasn't correct, I was told "well, then I don't know." I went through all the channels...no guide and some channels did not come in well.

Review 44：My reservation was for 2 rooms with 2 queen beds and 1 king bed, was told there were no rooms remaining with 2 queen beds. Presented my reservation and they wanted to give me a queen with a roll away. I overheard a young lady at the desk canceled a room with 2 queen and ask her to tell the young man that a room was a available. Besides the mix up my stay was good.

Review 47：Hotel convenience was great for our running around Gainesville while visiting our two UF sons. Manager'reception and breakfast added to the convenience. The lobby fireplace is a nice touch (particular during the chilly weather). Very much appreciated the front desk attendant asking our floor preference. The top floor(3rd) was quiet despite the three groups (teams and organizations) staying there at the same time.
