Review 1：The hotel was great, quiet, clean nothing to criticize here. Actually I was disappointment with the quality of the food at the Lake Side restaurant in the hotel.

Review 2：Everyone was nice the room was clean. Staff were helpful, I asked for an extra blanket and it was no problem at all.

Review 3：Got a great deal in a couple of rooms over the New Year. Rooms were attractive, and very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast buffet in the morning-- will definitely stay ther if/ when I visit Gainesville.

Review 4：heat didn't work. called front desk for 45 minutes nobody answered the phone. I finally drove to office at 8:30 and told the man at the desk about the heater not working. He said a maintenance person would be right there, well. I gave up waiting for him at midnight and went to bed. also, the 2nd bed had 2 bugs on it when I turned down the covers. Then at breakfast I ordered eggs. The waitress forgot to put the order in! Never did get them

Review 10：Carrying in luggage required use of stairs for our room. The place needs some renovation. I get that it was a game weekend but the pricing was high even still. I was under the impression when I booked the room on this site that I would be getting a lake view and received a basement room with a view of the underside of the cars in the parking lot.

Review 12：The room was right by the exit door. The room was sparsely furnished. The front of the TV was covered with smears and runmarks of some sort. We had to ask housekeeping to wash it thoroughly. Other patrons were very loud and kept us from sleeping. We could not turn off the porch light which beamed into the room even with the blinds drawn. Furniture clean, but old and run down. Same for in the restaurant, though the bacon was crispy-- yea! The bread products were stale.

Review 14：Room was very dusty, carpet was filthy, bathroom floor and wall over the bathtub were dirty and greasy, behind the the sink faucet was a lot of yellow gunk. I didn't like the extra money that was charged for the roller bed.

Review 16：Staff from the moment we got to check in counter till check out the next day were excellent, friendly and courteous. We also went to the bar/restaurant and had drinks and dinner. Staff was excellent, quick and food was excellent. Definitely will return.

Review 17：Our room was musty with what appeared to be mold along the celling. The furniture was old and used looking. The channels on the TV didn't offer any HBO, Showtime, mostly only sports channels. It is a college town but not everyone is there for sports. The bathroom was less then nice, mildew and paint pealing off the back door. And last but not least, the sliding glass door curtains were Sheer! With a small courtyard, anyone who was within view could see into the room. We felt we were on display in what was supposed to be the privicely of our room.

Review 24：We were given rooms on the bottom floor. It was dark and smelled of mold. We had to walk quite a distance from upstairs to get to the elevator to go downstairs. Spiders on patio which had orange cones outside. So we didn't have a view. Walls are extremely thin. Will find better maintained facilities next time.

Review 29：The staff was perfect, and so was the room. Will definitely look for this place if I am ever around. We got a great deal for one night here. Even the guy in the front desk was surprised with the rate, but still proceed to give us a discount based on our car insurance.

Review 32：The breakfast buffet is a joke. Avoid spending your money at this buffet and have breakfast somewhere else. I took a 12 minute walk to La Tiendita. They have very affordable but delicious food. The buffet did not have many of the items that were described on the paper that was placed in my room. First of all, no eggs and no pancakes. They only had toast, below average French toast, apples, green bananas, gluey maple syrup, ham, bacon, and something I don't recall but it was definitely not appealing. I am not a cheap person, but I wish I read a review like this one before spending $20 dollars including tip for two people on food that was not enjoyed.

Review 33：I liked the room. It was clean and organized. I definitely love the shuttle service they have. The shuttle takes you to university of Florida, the hospital, and some other place I do not recall. They are available from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. I had an orientation at 8:00 am and they were on time at 7:30 am. You can also call them for pick up. Also, if you need this service, remember to call ahead of time and make a reservation.

Review 36：Hotel advertises free wi-fi, but there is no wifi. There are 3 buildingsto this hotel (very large conference center) and we were in the verylast building. There was no parking at our building. Had to park all theway at the front near the office and walk all the way back to ourbuilding. Upon reaching our room, the keys didnt work. Had to walk allthe way back up to the front of the complex only to hear the front deskclerk tell us the keys were dated for the wrong date but even worse, hedidn't even apologize. Then had to wall all the way back to ourbuilding. Rude staff, keys don't work, no wifi and very old.

Com and booked a king bed smoking room once there I learned the entire conference center hotel, motel and grounds are non smoking including the balconies and there was a 300 dollar fine for anyone smoking on site. You also need to leave a 50 deposit with the front desk on top of everything else when you check in that it's in addition to having paid in full for everything.

Review 41：The high reviews led me to believe that this was a property in line with Holiday Inn or Best Western value, but it was more in line with Days Inn. If your goal is only to save money, this is a very good choice. If your goal is to have a nice high middle value hotel, spent a little more for something better.

The rooms were comfy, bedding was clean and showers were good quality. The hotel is close distance from the highway (not too far about 5 mins) And with a short drive you can be in the university town of gainesville. Good staff, good hotel, good times

Review 78：The facility is in much need of updating. There were sewage issues throughout the week and one of my friend's rooms actually had an explosion of sewage all over their bathroom. It ruined all their belongings left in the bathroom. Some front desk staff was rude. Only one washer & dryer available for guests. Location was in a rough area of town. Many better choices in the area.

Review 79：The breakfast bar was excellent, in fact, all the food over a the week I was here was good. With only one exception, the cleaning staff was very friendly & helpful.

Lock on balcony door was falling off and there was a bright light on the balcony that shone into our room and disturbed my sleep the entire night.

I stayed last year on the 3rd floor and the room and view was much nicer. This was disappointing and served its purpose but I was happy to leave

Review 85：I couldn't find clean towels at the pool and the shower next to the pool didn't work. No big deal. The A/C could have been a little colder and the wifi signal was weak in my room.

Review 86：The king bed was clean and comfortable. We really liked the oatmeal soap in the shower. The pool was fairly clean and deep. Great value and great location. I would definitely stay again in the future if I'm in Gainesville.

Review 87：After a long day, leaving at 7:45am and returning at 10pm, there was no food available at the hotel. No info given at check-in or in the rooms as to how you can access the free Wi-Fi. Since I didn't have a password, I used my hot spot, but kids disappointed that they couldn't access. Also, to get anywhere around the facilities, you need to walk outside and use your key to get through the various buildings, which rarely worked. At night, this is really creepy and the lighting is poor. I had a drunk man following me around and it was not fun when my room key would not open the door to my building. At check-in you get your room keys - that's it. Nothing about the facilities, map of where things are or hours of operation of the restaurant/bar - all of which would have been helpful.

Review 88：Staff was really nice. I had to go to UF everyday and the campus was super close, which was great. Room was very comfortable.

Review 89：To have a view I had to give up all the amenities being close. Being older and disabled I found that kept me in the room. They offered a wheelchair but I'm not that kind of disabled and would have found that a ridiculous solution to having both a view and access to the pool and food.
