Review 1：As most have said, the resort is very dated, but really -- it was everything that we needed and was comfortable. The steep hill is not ideal to walk up and down (one of our friends had a boot for a broken foot), so just be aware if you plan to stay here and walk into town!
Review 2：We loved the staff at the resort -- they were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We liked how close it was to Helen (although the hill to walk up and down is VERY steep), and felt like the condo had everything we needed.
Review 3：Location was wonderful. That hill was tough to walk up but it was a good workout and can't beat how close it s to the city with the secret back route:) will be back next year!
Review 4：There were dead bugs in the bathroom on the floor. The doors to the bathroom did not shut all the way. Overall condition of the unit was in dire need of an update and overhaul. Upstairs neighbors were most active stomping around from 1-6 am. Carpet felt sticky on bare feet. Four towels for a multi night stay and a $10 charge to get new ones is absolutely ridiculous for a unit that sleeps four. (and we only stayed 3 nights, not the week it normally goes for) Unit is overpriced for what you are getting.

I got a email 2 days before we left telling me we would have to move rooms after the first day for to have maintenance done I told them we couldn't do this because we had someone that was handicapped but upon arrival the air was out so all we they said was available was done 2 flights of stairs witch made the almost impossible.

Review 18：Our DVD player didn't work when we checked in. But, they came the next day and replaced it with a new one. The woman I dealt with at checkout was kinda rude, but the lady at check in was super nice.
Review 19：The room was quite nice. Immaculately cleaned even though it was older. They had everything we could possibly need. The indoor pool came in handy on the rainy days and it was just a short distance from Helen. And holy cow the Jacuzzi tub was GIGANTIC!
Review 20：The kitchen and baths were very dated and even though the room was cleaned it was difficult to feel clean because these areas were dingy with age. The exterior is in need of a heavy duty makeover and landscaping.

Review 30：We loved the pool and hot tub, it's indoor and we could swim at night after a fun day in Helen. We drove down to the pool and then walked into the town. We had a nice condo and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck and relaxing.

Review 35：You really need to tell people about the mountain you have to walk up and down to leave your rooms and/or estates to enjoy a walk to downtown and/or the recreational facilities (Pool,spa and game room). It's as steep as Brasstown Bald and some may need to prepare for it if you have elderly or someone in "not so good of health".If there was a shortcut of stairs it would have made it a little shorter of a walk to the top.We just drove a car down to the nice parking lot you had down there.Besides it is the mountains!!
