Reviews for Inca Inn Motel
Review 1:Never a bad experience of any kind.
Review 2:This is the cleanest, friendliest, best run little 50s style motel I know of anywhere. My wife and I have stayed at the Inca Inn 4 or 5 times over the past 10 years, and it has always been perfect.
Review 3:Pool out of commission in the winter (but hey, half of Moab is closed in January).
Review 4:Great value, comfy beds and hot shower! Everything one could ask for in a motel.
Review 5:The staff, John, Jackie, and Andrew weren't just running the front desk. They were a personal concierge for every guest, guiding them to places to go in the great outdoors at Moab. Everything was perfect from the staff, the room, and the value for the money.
Review 6:Nice welcome at check in and good advice on restaurants. Free continental breakfast, simple but enough. Good wifi. Shower experience is quite pleasant as it comes with color lights!
Review 7:Staff was very friendly on check-in and check-out, and the room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable and I loved having the Hallmark channel to watch.
Review 8:The only disappointing thing was the inability to find a way to warm up after a long 10 mile winter hike in Arches. While I was impressed by how quickly the water in the shower/sink heated up, I much prefer a bath (or tub/shower I can sit in while warming up)...and the heated pool isn't available in winter. Furthermore, the shower space was just a little tight (I'm an "average" sized female) so I can't imagine how it would be for someone taller/larger than me. Water also had a tendency to make it's way out on to the tile, a good amount of it if we weren't careful. None of this would keep me from booking here again, though!
Review 9:Location and value are an obvious plus as were the amenities (free parking, breakfast, wifi). The room was very clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the "mud room" and updated bathrooms (storage under the sink was a big plus due to the rest of the bathroom design). The room was warm, loved the recycling options, and overall was very pleased with my experience. The color changing lights in the shower were also unexpected and neat (those kinds of things always get me).
Review 10:The towels are rough and small. The heater in our room was very loud (but it worked well). We also had an issue with the water temperature fluctuating from hot to cold.
Review 11:The room was CLEAN. This is an older motel and you expect these places to be dingy, but this place was spotless. There was breakfast included in our rate (58 per night over Thanksgiving week). It's a simple breakfast but it's totally adequate: instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, muffins, and some kind of fruit each day. Staff is friendly. We had enough room for our baby's portable crib and they even had pack 'n plays if you needed one.
Review 12:The hard-boiled eggs were a little difficult to peel (I've heard it's all in the wrist).
Review 13:Clean room, basic but healthy continental breakfast, Starbucks coffee all day, super friendly staff, no traffic noise despite being next to Main St. I travel a lot and for an older property, it is in amazingly good shape. The owners and staff should be proud. Their motto is "Budget done better" and I think they've pulled it off in spades. Andrew was very helpful in changing my reservations twice so I could stay longer. He also offered to loan me tools when I had a problem with my truck. Be aware the office closes at 10pm so you need to let them know about late arrivals. There is also an evening quiet time so party animals look elsewhere. I will be staying here again in the future.
Review 14:This hotel had a great location, close to restaurants and Arches National park. Despite being just off the main road, it was ver quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful!
Review 15:The room was SO clean even though it's an old place. I appreciated the method they use to clean. No smelly, harsh chemicals. Very comfortable bed and heater worked perfect. The continental breakfast and DELICIOUS coffee were just right.
Review 16:Clean, comfortable, great place to stay. This is a little older hotel but kept up nicely -vintage style (loved the rainbow LED lighting in the shower! nice touch). The breakfast was very nice and always well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Review 17:We've used many budget motels across S and W US, and Inca Inn is a rare gem. Unpretentious, but they really care, and get it spot on. Highly recommended.
Review 18:No bathroom fan lol but it's older so it's ok
Review 19:Cool little spot! Staff was really nice, breakfast was filling and rooms were clean. Would stay again!
Review 20:The front desk person was so friendly and helpful. He suggested restaurants, had information about sights to see and checked in with us later to be sure we were happy.
Review 21:Small parking area.
Review 22:The Inca Inn has very friendly staff, it has nice rooms and a comfortable bed. It has nice clean bathrooms that have all you amenities. The staff was willing to make recommendations as where to eat in Moab. I would stay here again.
Review 23:Comfortable and very well-maintained place and a very good value. Friendly and accommodating staff. The room was large. It had an unusual shower head that actually put out changing colors of light! This was a fun "twist." The owner told us it's activated by turbine power from the water flow, not by batteries. Coffee was excellent (Starbucks).
Review 24:No microwave or refrigerator. Was not able to access WFI
Review 25:Close to a few of the National Parks. Staff was responsive to requests and knowledgeable about the area. Good value.
Review 26:Nice if there was a laundry room, but nearby laundromats.
Review 27:The price was good, not the cheapest, but close. Excellent staff who were very helpful. Good location
Review 28:Id feel more comfortable being allowed to take my bike into the room. Its worth more than my car, and has delicate components on it. they have a designated bike room to lock them in, but it is small and crowded, and others may accidentally damage something on someone elses bike while trying to get theirs.
Review 29:Liked the fact that the guy working there let us know the quiet time and that if anyone was being noisy and bothering us after that hour to call him and he would address the problem. This can be a problem in moab as younger people come down to party.
Review 30:Outside the rooms flags of the world were on display, but no Union Jack... Disgrace !
Review 31:Everything was first rate. Very good breakfast with fresh bread.
Review 32:Breakfast should start at 7am so early birds can enjoy it (runs from 8 to 10am).
Review 33:Friendly staff, very clean, new and confortable. Way above motel average quality, I would stay at Inca again.
Review 34:Nice and big room, good continental breakfast with free coffee available all day long. Excellent wi-fi connection, good location if you are heading to Arches or Canyonlands national parks.
Review 35:Not the most powerful of showers. Wifi was a bit hit and miss.
Review 36:They supply hairdryers upon request from reception. Breakfast is included. Extra towels provided to clean dirty hiking boots. Large comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location.
Review 37:Nothing
Review 38:The motel has very comfortable beds, we were there for the Moab marathon and found that the motel met all our needs. The all day coffee was great.
Review 39:Not much, really; staff is small so plan ahead and be patient about special requests. Easy walk (half-mile or so) to downtown but not right in the middle of downtown; this worked great for us but other (less walking-oriented) people might prefer to be slightly more centrally located.
Review 40:Kind and friendly, really comfortable, not a chain; little details like motion lights approaching bathroom, light-up showerhead, and convenient recycling facilities-- as well as fresh fruit and oatmeal at included breakfast-- make it stand out.
Review 41:No complaints at all.
Review 42:Good choice if you want to visit Arches and Canyonlands national parks. Rooms are clean and spacious. Good wif-fi, coffee and tea available at reception. They really try to make your stay as good as possible.
Review 43:The pool was great and the room was spotless!! Only 5 mi from Arches National Park. Staff was great. The best Motel I have ever slept inn in 15 yrs. They really care about the property.
Review 44:The shower head over the bath tub was so low that I had to double over to get my head under. The inevitable happened when I gashed my forehead on it. The friendly guy in reception did apologize and said they were working on it, I still have the wound three weeks later.
Review 45:Friendly atmosphere and location for Arches National Park
Review 46:My only negative would be kind of lumpy pillows. I'd spend a few bucks getting 2firmer and 2 softer pillows for guests to choose. Other than that, awesome stay!
Review 47:This quaint blast from the past has all the right updates. We loved John, who recommended a great restaurant and an evening drive in Canyonlands, which we did. We also thought the small pool was perfect for a cool dip...just right for relaxing and watching the mountains. The bed was soft; the shower spray was hot and strong! We love older hotels with personality. We left too early for breakfast, so we didn't get to try that. In the middle of town and perfect for us!
Review 48:When I checked in, they said no pets allowed, yet the booking said it was pet friendly!
Review 49:Sparkling clean, comfortable bed, excellent value
Review 50:Nice location friendly staff breakfast is great for the motel price really afforadable
Review 51:Clean bed sheet, nice staff, good location.
Review 52:Bathroom was slightly cramped, but otherwise the room was great!
Review 53:Great service, clean rooms, great location.
Review 54:Don't expect “luxury amenities”, but otherwise pretty much perfect!
Review 55:Best value for your money while staying in Moab
Review 56:The best part about the Inca Inn is the wonderful staff and the great value for money.
Review 57:Noisy fridge! I had to unplug it.
Review 58:Cute digs. Funky and friendly.
Review 59:All cuttlery for breakfast is thrown away. Too much waste!
Review 60:Great overall package! WE can only recommend it,great value for a low price!
Review 61:Helpful staff, breakfast, near Arches, petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, Canyonlands, and good restaurants.
Review 62:Simple but clean. It's all you need.
Review 63:Front desk staff was very friendly. Lighted showerhead was very cool. Moab is awesome!
Review 64:nothing
Review 65:- short way to Arche Nationalpark - very clean - very friendly stuff - felt safe
Review 66:Staff was very friendly. The room was small but comfortable and clean. They have locked bike storage.
Review 67:Yes, it is an older motel..........but, very, very clean, and the staff is super helpful..
Review 68:Hotel alittle dated.
Review 69:Freindliness of staff.
Review 70:The room was very clean, simple, but comfortable. I was very pleased as the price was on the lower side.
Review 71:tip: a shady place at the pool
Review 72:Friendly staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, nice pool, close to Arches and Canyonlands.

Review 76:Friendly, clean & comfortable
Review 77:Friendly staff with great recommendations, comfortable rooms, and perfect location!
Review 78:Very comfortable bed and room; the shower head was also very cool. I would certainly recommend this place!
Review 79:It is a very cute inn that was well kept. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Room was a good size. Heater worked excellently and was easy to use.

Review 93:NOTHING
Review 94:GREAT STAFF, GREAT ATTITUDE
Review 95:room too small, hotel near road, dusty.
Review 96:coffee is good
Review 97:Wifi didn't work during our stay
Review 98:Proximity to Arches National Park, fridge and microwave in room.
Review 99:None I can think of
Review 100:Nearby Canyonlands, Arches Very friendly staff Location Clean Good breakfast
Review 101:Nothing!
Review 102:Very clean! Super friendly staff!
Review 103:Everything was great and the "little things" attended to. The staff were welcoming ESP Jacque and the town was lovely
Review 104:Breakfast crowded and not special - just average Day's Inn or Travelodge standard. No Yogurt, waffles, whole fresh fruit. Not a big step to make it better.Hated the chairs outside the room to sit in - flimsy and too low for older and larger guests.
Review 105:I liked almost everything except what they point out up front - parking, size of breakfast room, room size. Very helpful staff gave good recommendations and went out of their way to maintain the reputation of the place. Lovely little pool - very clean.
Review 106:Continental breakfast was disappointing. Very limited choices. Coffee was very good though.
Review 107:Staff we're very accommodating. Location was very convenient.
Review 108:The room is just fit for 2 adults and 2 kids - too small for such group.
Review 109:This is a good place to stay in Moab if you wish to do a lot of hiking and just need a bed for sleep.
Review 110:The breakfast could have used a few more choices, however we appreciated the simple selection. What was available was very tasty!
Review 111:Thought the management were very congenial. They offered discounts on places to eat and suggestions on sight seeing options.
Review 112:One staff member gave me a couple containers of OJ and a bunch of muffins for breakfast when I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to make it for the Continental breakfast when I had to leave early. That was exceptional?
Review 113:Gigantic bed. Room very clean. Neat breakfast, the bread was good. Excellent value for the price. Great location for Arches NP. They gave us a 10% discount card for the Broken Oar restaurant across the street, where the food was excellent (though quite expensive). Would definitely stay there again in Moab.
