Review 1：Didn't get the room I had reserved. No coffee maker in room.

Review 2：Staff called my room, right after I got settled in, to ensure everything was alright. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Review 3：Asked for non smoking room, walls were yellow and the place reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Awful. Bathroom door did not close all the way, and next to our rooms door upon arrival was a stack of what looked like urine soaked towels.

Review 5：the fact that they cannot speak or understand English on the internet they bumped the prices up but in the moon the building when I got there it stated that it was 4999 at night but they made me pay $67 a night and tried to have me sign some other papers stadium at 9 I got my pricing off the internet and it was no room on the paper for my signature I feel they lied would not go back there ever again

Review 7：I booked this room at the "last minute" as I came down for a Mizzou football game. I read the poor reviews but felt I'm a grown man and could deal with any situation. I was met with a very professional staff; very clean room and I had no problems with the negative things said about the hotel. I received complimentary coffee and newspaper. I want to point out that everyone's experiences can be different, but I was happy with my choice of using this hotel and would book a room there again.

Review 8：Sketchy people hanging around. Unfriendly check in person. Asked for nonsmoking room but it stunk of smoke. Killed a roach in the first minute but never saw another one. (Woke up with some sort of bite in my armpit???) The noise from the interstate was so loud that I barely slept! Was exhausted for the second leg of my trip.

Review 10：It was in our price range for a room - just wanting beds and a bathroom. It had a microwave and a small fridge. It was close to Stadium Drive. The Red Lobster restaurant was next door.

Review 11：There were all sorts of bugs in the rooms. there were beetles, cockroaches, silverfish and ants. nothing that bites! had to constantly smash them on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom floor and walls.

Review 12：The location was next to resturants and close to Mizzou. Thankfully there were new comfortable mattresses so NO bedbugs. WIFI worked well and fast. Saved a bunch on the price of this room.

Review 15：There were several people loitering around the parking lot. some people had their doors open while lounging on their beds. Our door and window were banged on in the middle of the night- no phones in rooms to call about that. Overall a little nervous about the patrons that were staying there.

Review 17：It was an extremely scary location. The reservation was wrong so we had to change rooms. The exterior was disgusting, years of filth outside. Obvious evidence that some rooms were permanent residences. The desk clerk was ok, but need to learn to say, "I'll need your id" or "May I have your id" instead of "Give me your id". It's unnerving and I heard him do it to another as well. The room was clean but pretty dingy.

Review 23：Let me start by qouting my 16 year old son who said, "There is nothing royal about the Royal Columbia Inn." Very dirty, sketchy "full time" residents, and the sign behind the front desk states, "No Refunds after 15 minutes." Fortunately we arrived late and left early and I was exhausted so I did sleep a few hours. When I awoke to a cockroach climbing over my legs on top of the sheet I brushed it off against the wall and got out of bed and we were back on the road. My kids will have stories to tell but that is only funny now that we survived our stay. Do not book a room here!

Review 25：There was exposed carpet tack that I stepped on, broken phones and the room was dirty. Response from desk....."you area good customer we make changes". I do not make complaints, no compensation was offered and I would not recommend to anyone.

Review 27：The ceiling was falling in our room, but they happily upgraded to a different room. There were signs of fixing, so I didn't complain too much.

Review 28：It was close to my kids and there was no problem having my dog. They didn't charge extra for him either.

Review 30：I didn't like anything about it. It is a disgrace to the hotel industries. I will not give the phone number or address to that hotel. I didn't sleep at night because I was worried about people breaking into my room.

Review 31：It was no-frills, loud, alot of banging on doors, paper-thin walls (got to hear the details of neighbors getting it on and their "conversation" throughout) and a hoodie-clad bum hung out in the corridor to the stairs (they said he was a guest of a paying customer, which was probably true, but still...) It definitely took some getting used to tossing and turning on a plastic covered mattress with the thinnest sheets separating you from the blanket which is probably not regularly washed. Just knowing that my hoodie-clad acquaintance might have been a prior beneficiary of the blanket next to me made my skin crawl.

Review 32：Considering that I already expected a certain level of quality when I booked, the room was fine, generally clean and tidy. Nothing awry, and it was the least expensive room in town on a game day at Mizzou. Pickins were slim. Point of interest: The mattresses are wrapped in plastic which -- depending on how you look at it -- can be comforting or alarming.

Review 33：It was dirty! No security lock inside the room. Smelled bad, plastic still left on the mattresses, and had holes in the wall. It was litteraly the scariest hotel I have ever stayed in

Review 38：The room was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. We had no choice since it was Family weekend at the university and everything was booked. The air conditioner was so loud you could not sleep with it on. My husband finally put it on the outside air to circulate something so we could sleep. After pulling the bed spread off there was the most disgusting blanket I ever did see on the bed one that you wouldn't even see in a dogs bed. That is when we decided we need blankets from our son's dorm room to sleep on and cover with. Worst experience, never again.

Review 40：Shower head connection to the shower arm pipe was leaking badly. The TV worked but there was no printed list of channel numbers to broadcast stations. Room should have a radio, pad of paper adn pencil for taking notes.

Review 97：the room reeked of smoke and all my clothes smelled like smoke the next day. The bed was uncomfortable and there was no light in the bathroom. Bare minimum accommodations but I guess you get what you pay for.

Review 101：I had a non-smoking room that had a terrible smoke smell. They moved me to a different room that was much less smokey. The man working the night check in was very helpful and nice when it came to this. The bathroom was clean.
