Review 1：There are no non smoking rooms, they fixed the furniture with duct tape. I didn't feel the location was very good at all!!! The updates I felt were mediocre at best. I also feel like they wrote a lot of there own reviews. If I would of known what it was really like we would of stayed at a nice hotel for less.

Review 3：When I checked in,I had to pay a $20 deposit for paying in cash. The clerk took the money but didnt marj on reciept. Took 20 minutes to get deposit back. Breakfast there is sad. The room could have been cleaner.

Review 15：My room was very clean & quite comfortable. There was a separated sofa area for watching TV or eating a meal. The room was beautiflly decorated with plenty of outlets.

Review 16：Do not depend on the breakfast to feed you/your family. They have one table in the office area. 2 juices, 2 cereals, and a couple pastries and fruit. Only good to go in grab something and go. We didn't even bother.

Review 17：The room was very very clean and newly remodeled. My Kindle Fire wouldn't connect to the internet as I kept receiving a message that their server was rejecting my request. I took it to the front office and they reset their router and it worked. They were very friendly and helpful with suggestions to what was in the area that we asked about.

Review 18：It was noisy, construction going on right outside our door, key stopped working at one point and there isn't always someone in the office so you may have to wait for them to come help you, breakfast was basically two kinds of cereal and some packaged pastries.

Review 27：The room was very clean and large. It had a nice gas fireplace near the jacuzzi which was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was GREAT. I was surprised at the murals on the walls but they were tasteful and well done. Liked that the refrigerator and microwave were tucked away in a cabinet. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Though it could use some updating this hotel was spectacularly clean, the air conditioning was excellent, the cable selection was very good, the staff was accommodating and helpful, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Just a short distance and quick shot to the interstate. Appeared to be a somewhat industrial type neighborhood not really close to anything shady.

Review 34：We stayed at this hotel as a last resort because there were no available rooms downtown due to the College World Series and the photographs, description, and location near the interstate (a short and not incredibly expensive cab ride to downtown) made it seem a tolerable place to stay in order to attend a comedy show at the Orpheum. From the moment we arrived this place was nothing but trouble. Upon checking in we were informed that although we had booked a king suite there were none available and we'd have to downgrade to a queen suite. We went to the room we were assigned only to find it filled with someone else's possessions. We went back to the front desk and were told the maids had told the front desk that the occupant of the room had checked out (even though they clearly hadn't) and were again downgraded to a double queen room. That room was uninhabited but a far cry from the room we had reserved. The room was not clean and very cramped. It was an exeptionally hot day so the first thing we did was try to cramp up the air conditioner which didn't work. We called the front desk and they said they would check it. Tried it again in a few minutes and it finally worked. In the morning we spoke to someone we presumed was the owner and voiced our dissatisfaction with our entire experience and asked if we might receive a discounted rate due to all the problems we'd had. We were told it wasn't their fault they didn't have the room we reserved, that we could have stayed elsewhere if we were dissatisfied, that we were fortunate to have been given a double queen room at the king suite rate because apparently it was a more expensive room (which makes no sense to my mind) and that they do not have to guarantee customers the room they reserved. Then the woman who checked us in proceeded to literally yell at us both in English and her native language. Frustrated, we washed our hands of the whole experience and left.

It didn't bother me, but it had to be dealt with because anyone could have seen into our room. I also liked the layout of the hotel since I could just step right outside and it was easy to get to the parking lot. It wasn't noisy at all for me. The breakfast was surprisingly sufficient as well! We had exactly what we needed for such a good deal.

Review 81：I chose this motel because the website designated it as "pet-friendly". Upon my arrival I was told that I was not allowed to have my two canine traveling companions in the room with me because they were too big (55# each). When I pointed out that there was no such restriction on the website I was informed that it was a new policy that was instituted 1 week prior. I was further told that I could try the motel 6 instead. When I demanded my deposit back the clerk changed his mind and allowed us to stay. While it is the proprietor's right to make this policy it should have been added to the website immediately. I was very frustrated to be told of the new policy at 10pm at night after having driven 12 hours.
