Review 1：not the hotel´s fault but there was a couple fighting in the middle of the night in the room next to ours. woke me up and i couldn´t go back to sleep anymore after that. was heavily jetlagged from prior flight and the screaming didn´t help at all. i was scared that their fight might turn physical. called the reception and the reception staff went up and talked to the couple right away. the couple didnt stop until after another 20 minutes of fighting. but i couldnt go back to sleep anymore.

Review 7：The pillows were extremely soft and they had bacon for breakfast. The staff was amazing and called to make sure we got settled into the room nicely. Also they are close to the local Walmart and shopping areas if you are from out of town like me.

Review 9：Very good option for a short layover at Dulles airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from the airport. As I arrived after midnight - I had to take the Uber. Only 7 minutes ride (less than 11$). Facilities are very good, clean rooms, very good wifi. And to top it off - very friendly staffs. It's fairly close to the Udvar-Hazy center (Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's annex) - which was very handy for me.

Review 12：The room reeked of cat urine. No matter how much air freshner we used, it would not go away. The toilet would work off and on. Sometimes, it would flush completely and sometimes it wouldn't.

Review 13：Middle of nowhere. Not having the American psyche, when I'm in a hotel, I don't any to drive of somewhere to eat or do take out. Wandered across a few car parks to the Holiday Innover the road for a fizzy beer and food.

Review 17：The service staffs and room condition of this hotel are excellent. The Best Western in Dulles is exceptional compared with other chain. Apparently the management team of this particular location paid full attention to all details. My good experience started from the moment I stepped in front lobby. Well train and professional staffs with sincere smile and warm greeting(like old friend) makes me feel warm and comfortable. The room is clean and neat, internet was good, towel and bath room are very clean and air is fresh in the room. This particular Best Western hotel's service and facility is as good as Fourpoint Sheraton or Hilton Garden Inn. The only drawback is the standard complimentary breakfast, it is same as other Best Western. I wouldn't blame on them, that is pretty much standard for all Best Western. If the maximum rating point is 10, my rating for this Best Western Dulles (airport) in Stering is 9.5".

Review 18：For the Airport Shuttle, 1. didn´t have to wait at the airport 2. next morning, despite booking in advance for the 4 a.m. departure to the airport, when the van got full, the manager arranged to have a cab called to take the 3 guests, including me, to the airport at the hotel expense, to ensure we don´t miss our flights!!

Review 27：Had to travel a bit to get to the shopping facilities and there were a lot of guests who had arrived on an Air China flight; they were not very mannerable at breakfast. The breakfast was great, however the dining facility could become quite crowded.

Plus it is close to the IAD airport with a free hotel shuttle service starting at 4AM and running every 30 minutes. However, you need to book at the front desk (they will tell you everything).

Review 53：Considering it's more like a pit stop before catching a flight from Dulles, I did not expect much. I was pleasantly surprised! Polite and helpful staff, free coffee in the lobby and free shuttles to and from the airport made my stay smooth and pleasant. Thank you!

Review 54：The wifi is a joke. It comes and goes every few seconds some times requiring reconnection. I tried from room 161, the laundry, in the lobby and on the bench in the carport. All I got was an apology. Other guest I talked with had the same problem. This occurred with an IPhone, IPad, laptop and an android phone, all of which are newer models. If you are here for business and need wifi, go somewhere else. There is only one washing machine and one dryer on site. Property is dated but generally well taken care of and clean.

Review 56：Front desk staff were GREAT! Not only very personable but also found us a room on the ground floor. No elevators, we had LOTS of luggage and were flying out the next day. Shuttle service excellent! Returned our car the night before and they picked us up at the airport to go back to the hotel. Then gave us a very early ride back to the airport for our flight the next morning.

The maintenance person came and said that he would check to see if I could be put into another room that was quieter. A few minutes later I was and he helped me move my belongings to the new room. Very good customer service.

Review 70：Huge snow forecast for our departure day and we needed for "for sure" ride to Dulles regardless. Desk clerk assured us it was no problem. It wasn't. Good breakfast, too.

Review 71：Hotel is old and in need of repairs, maintenance and a remodel. Room was clean, but had a few ants. The room was small and felt cramped, and while it was nice to have a microwave and mini fridge, they were awkwardly located under the bathroom sink.

Review 73：We had to take the 5:30 am shuttle to the airport and we were given some food to eat and drinks before the scheduled breakfast at 6:00 am. It was brought to us from the kitchen and we were able to start off with something in our stomachs before our flight. We arrived before at 12:30 pm due to the snow storm approaching and were able to get into our room early. To me that was going the extra mile and it made a very good impression on my husband and me.

Review 74：The bed in my room was obviously old and had seen better days...the mattress was very sunk in in the middle. It was a soft mattress which was ok but because of the worn state of the springs it was difficult to get out of it.

They have a free shuttle to and from the airport and they have a shuttle that runs all night into town and various other places. Perfect.

The lady at the frontdesk was rude about it as well. Housekeeping did not want to clean our room because of the dogs, even though they were in crates.

Review 116：I stayed at 3 hotels on my DC trip and this was by far the cheapest and best hotel. The check-in staff Carlos and another young lady were so helpful. I checked in really late and I was accommodated and it was just a pleasant stay. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. There was a shuttle to the town centre mall which was absolutely amazing. They had a free shuttle from the airport which was so helpful. The staff at the front desk were completely helpful and gave helpful information on how to get about Washington DC. Had to check out later than the checkout time and I was given an extra hour to stay which was very nice of the staff. The hotel was clean, with very well maintained clean grounds ,free parking, free wifi and a fridge and microwave in the rooms. I had a very pleasant stay.

I would say excellent service even without a certified formal quality management system, but with several national quality awards. There is a restaurant at Holiday Inn close to this hotel which provide food at reasonable price. They have room service arrangements with this restaurant. Break fast and WiFi were free. Review 119：So I've been using this Best Westen as our stop before international flights for a few years now. Mainly because it a a good balance of price and location. Recently we got a cat and were pleased to know they were pet friendly. Bonus. But now, they have freshened the rooms and upgraded the breakfast to include sausage and waffles. It's really great. I hope that it stays well price too. But now they beat everyone. Well done

Review 120：The set up with the fridge and microwave under the sink was a little inconveinant and hard to access, the bath tub seem to drain the water very slow while showering The court yard was very loud and i found it hard to sleep
