Review 1：The staff were kind and responsive, but the facility is four decades old and badly in need of refurbishing. Definitely seen its better days, but certainly an inexpensive stay.

Review 2：Spotty Wi-Fi, Furniture outside all over the property, guess they are renovating. The location overall is not that bad though it could be better either down more by 12th St or up more by 25th. those locations are where the restaurants are overall the experience wasn't that great was it completely bad not really which is why I rated it fair.

Review 4：Does not look its best from the outside, but they are clearly in the middle of majorly remodeling (ripping out old ceilings and walls, installing new bathroom fixtures and furnature and beds) every guest room.

Review 5：Great value for the price. Quiet and clean. Staff was friendly. Located in a safe neighborhood. Easy access to walking/biking path along the Ogden river. On a major street, yet no noticable street noise.

Review 6：The room was soiled with holes in the walls, broken glass in art on the wall, 3 of 4 dryers inoperable in the laundry, lobby door broken off its hinges, a massive amount of roof gravel on our second floor terrace. We had to shoulder the door to get in or out of our room. Scary place for Ogden.

Review 9：roof being replaced and some of the shingle cuttings landed on the hood of my truck! had to beg for fresh towels by the 3rd day. they refunded me 15 bucks. the third and first day desk ladies were nice the other was rude.Never again!

Review 10：WiFi would not work, not strong enough signal Building old / Door did not have an inside lock, chain was missing. Most of hotel was long term residents

Review 12：Wifi didn't connect. TV was terrible, bad picture on most channels and not enough channels. The electricity went out in the middle of the night and no one tried to check on us to see if we were up or ok

Review 14：The room smelled bad. The bed was horrible - the mattress was like a hammock, the bed did not have a mattress cover and the sheets were old and thin, the comforter was nasty. The bathroom was old, the tub was leaking with rust stains, the towels were old and thin and gross.

Review 16：The building is old and not in a nostalgic way. No electrical outlets in the bathroom for the girls. Shared balcony with neighboring room & sliding glass door isn't very secure. Screen door was leaning against glass door. Room smelled like a musky basement that hadn't been opened in years. Entry door to room is a hollow core door that a rather weak person could punch through. Room air conditioner was installed in a hole in the wall, not plugged in because there wasn't an outlet within 6 feet. Had to unplug lights and tv to use outlets for other electronics. Motel 6 just a few blocks away was $25 cheaper. We would have stayed there but rooms were scarce and didn't want to take a chance on not having a place to stay. The Ogden River Inn is a little better than sleeping in the car. Only a little.

Review 18：Broken toilet tank kept running all night. Stained/torn sheets. No clean towels the 2nd day. Bed not made between days. Dirty towels not removed. Cigarette burn holes in the bed linens in a non smoking room.

Review 20：Not in the best part of town I guess. Felt unsafe, no deadbolt on the door but the hardware from where the chain might have been. Manager knocking on my door in the morning questioning me about having paid a pet fee even after I noted on my reservation that I needed a pet friendly room.

Review 25：The location, for what I was doing, was perfect. The staff was friendly and I slept well.

Review 26：A friends room had visibly dirty sheets and the woman at the front desk said the maid had missed a couple of rooms. When they went to get new sheets the woman continued to smoke a cigarette while grabbing them a new set. There was no offer of reimbursement for the room in terrible condition. Would not recommend anyone staying here regardless of the cheap price. Spend a little more to not have to stay in this dump.

Review 29：The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It's not in the best neighborhood but I didn't feel like I was going to have any problems. And I didn't-it was just fine.

Review 30：Walked in room, smelled horrible. Cigarette burns in blanket in non-smoking room. Tried to get a different one-none available. No plugs in bathroom. Tub rusty and dirty like another guest posted. Remote for TV didn't work. Non-smoking room, but people next door on both sides had cigarette ash trays on their balcony they used a lot. Our airconditioner blew in from the balcony-REALLY it rated as the worst room we ever rented. Spend a little more. Need to demolish the place!!

Review 32："non smoking" room had cigarette burns in bedspread, and slight smoke odor. Floor and carpet dirty, had a water break in another room at about 8 am, shut the whole place down just in time for morning showers.

Review 64：Area of town seemed a little sketchy. Door did not have a chain lock or dead bolt, just the twist lock on the knob.

Review 73：Disgusting! The carpet was so filthy that we didn't dare take ourshoes off. There was mold around the tub. The tile was missing behindthe toilet. There was peeling lead paint on all 4 walls of the bathroom(major health hazard). The bathroom vanity door faces were peeling andwere just held on by bare screws. The tv didn't work. Icouldn't access the internet, and the office didn't answer tohelp. I found a blood spot on the sheets, and slept on top of the sheetnot in them. The sheets clearly hadn't been washed. There was apoorly patched area in the drywall the size of bed on the ceiling. Theroof must have leaked. I would not recommend this place to anyone, evenif it were free of charge. Seriously!!! This is a 1 star, or"0" star property.

Review 74：It was run down and scuzzy. There were stains on the carpet that looked like blood. It smelled bad. Not well kept. There was only a push lock and a chain for security. No automatic locks. The ceiling in the stair well was leaky. Just plain scary.

Review 75：Difficulties checking in -- staff wasn't very efficient. Also hotel rooms are on opposite side of checkin -- which meant going back out in traffic around the building -- need a sign. Beds were extremely hard!! Shower interesting.
