Reviews for Quality Inn & Suites Cincinnati

Review 1:The carpets in the hall were all stained. There was a coke can on the floor in the hallway whole time we stayed. Where was housekeeping?? They didn't clean our room.

Review 2:Upon arrival the lobby did not have any heat, and there was an odour. Ihad booked a king bed smoking and when I opened the door it was 2 dblbeds and non smoking. There was also an odour to it as well. Both bedsthe mattress had sank in the middle, the bed spreads were totallydisgusting. Went back down to the lobby and asked for a refund, becauseof the conditions. I was told I could not cancel. I did check out and herefused to reverse the charges. Do not reccommend this place not evenfor my dog!

Review 3:They put me in another room that I did not book it. I book king room non smoking, but when I arrived I found double room non smoking and they did not have another room for non smoking available. Also, before I check out, the cleaner was entering our room without premesion.

Review 4:Nothing.

Review 5:Hotel in transition. Dirty, dingy, scary exterior. Rooms very dingy. I coughed all night from sleeping in bed. Ended up in hospital a few days later from a massive respiratory infection. My mom got violently sick while in hotel with uncontrollable coughing and wheezing. Three year old ended up with sinus infection. We were all healthy prior to check in. Will not ever return to this hotel. Please avoid if you value your health

Review 6:Staff was really nice and helpful.

Review 7:The hotel was unkept, dirty. There was alot of confusion by the staff on room assignments. We entered an occupied room before getting our own correct room. The bathroom was old and outdated, the toilet water ran non-stop and the shower trickled water when on. Disappointed over all with the condition of the hotel .

Review 8:It was close to our event and cab service was readily available.

Review 9:Booked two rooms,no water in shower in one of rooms. When I discovered this the morning of check out and let front desk know was not offered any compensation other than being told had I known the day before it could have been fixed, rooms not very clean

Review 10:Nothing. The toilet didn't flush all the way and it was filthy ...nice location tho

Review 11:Fully understand construction w dust and construction garbage. I tried to slide open the window and I was almost knocked out by the molding. gm was rude and no one knew what was going on

Review 12:The wall paper in the bathroom was pealing off the wall 3 lights in the room did not work we called to get it fix but no one could come til the next day at 10 am. There was a hole in the carpet

Review 13:Area where it was located. Had stayed there 2 years ago

Review 14:Although they are in the middle of remodeling the room I was in was in desparate need of it. The bathroom was really jn need.

Review 15:The staff was very helpful. The ypong lady at the front desk was very helpful getting me a cab, when the first one she called didn't show she kept calling different cabs until one finally showed.

Review 16:I did not like the parking. I did not feel secure in the facility. Anyone could go in the building and get on the elevators. On the 5th floor there was no air conditioning in the hallways. I reported this everyday and every day I was told somebody would get on it right away. When I was checking out, the maintenance man said no one told him. I would like to see an electronic card like those to get in a room be used for the elevator too.

Review 17:The room was fair for the price. The room was clean.

Review 18:The facility was under construction but still the furniture in the lobby looked like someone had used it for stabbing practice. Our room had no ac in it there was an option of cool or cooler there was a red arrow pointing at 7. It blew out air and made a water dripping noise all night long. The bath tub I noticed the morning had blood on the outside of it. The toilet flange came undone in the toilet my husband just put it back together instead of waiting on house keeping.

Review 19:The staff was nice. Free parking.

Review 20:Due to the renovation of this property the hotel I had a terrible smell in the lobby

Review 21:I was not notified in advance that this property was under renovation

Review 22:Front desk staff needed uniforms or an understanding of business casual dress; name tags would have been nice. Strong musty, moldy smell in the hallway of my floor and the carpet was always wet. Breakfast was cereal, muffins, bagels or waffles-extremely disappointing.

Review 23:Housekeeping did a wonderful job with my room. Each day I returned it was as if I was checking in for the first time

Review 24:The whole floor smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was run down, the bathroom counter was sagging and chipped. Their was grafitti on the bathroom walls. The tv was old and had a picture reminiscent of the 1970s. Breakfast was nothing but bread (toast, bagels, muffins, waffles, cereal). There was no fruit or protein offered.

Review 25:It was very close to the baseball park, which was the purpose of our stay. The bed was comfortable.

Review 26:Hotel smelled like smoke. Carpet filthy in hallway very little choice for breakfast would only stay for brief period and if you trying to save money

Review 27:Bed comfort

Review 28:The lack of knowledge from staff for the area, could not connect to wifi, pool was broke not working, everything n the room needs updated it looked ugly, I will not stay at this property again.

Review 29:Close to the ball park

Review 30:When I called for reservations they told me that the pool was undergoingrenovations.they neglected to mention the hotel itself and obviously theparking garage were also undergoing renovations. There is no atm in thehotel, and it smelled terrible. Very disappointed and we'llabsolutely never consider it again.

Review 31:We needed to switch rooms twice because they was no water running in the shower. The 2nd room had a roach inside the tub. Plus the AC unit hardly worked. I would never ever stay in this hotel even if it was the last hotel standing on the face of the earth. Would prefer to sleep in the car.

Review 32:The staff at the front desk was very helpful in trying to comfort the family.

Review 33:The breakfast was not great. The location (just off the freeway) was noisy at least in the rooms at the back of the hotel.

Review 34:The room was clean and comfortable.

Review 35:The carpets were not swept in the room. The hotel is going through a remodel and should have shut down to do this. The parking lot was a disaster. There were a couple young men cleaning out a truck in the parking lot playing really loud music and dancing.

Review 36:You get what you pay for. Price very low (after I called to tell them they charged me more than what I was quoted from booking.comy and still waiting for the refund) the young lady that checked us in was very friendly.

Review 37:It was dirty, comforter had burn holes in it. Bathtub was dirty and falling apart(cracking, peeling, etc). Very small bathroom, old furniture and carpet.

Review 38:The bed was comfortable.

Review 39:I just did not feel the hotel was very clean. Ice machine only on floors 4 and 6, so that was inconvenient. The continental breakfast we just skipped over, I would not even advertise that. Nobody was there in the hotel. In the upper floor windows you could see beds stored and it just looked like it was falling apart.

Review 40:I did like the hotel was not in a very busy traffic area, so easy in and out. I did also like the parking, where my vehicle was safer.

Review 41:Hotel Corridor carpet was torn and dirty. Toilet was not working and when complained, said we have to wait an hour but nobody ever came. Bathroom was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable and a lot of noise from the neighboring free way.

Review 42:No water pressure ... Little available pn the breakfast bar.... Bed was really firm and made it hard to sleep..

Review 43:I would have rather slept on a blow up mattress then on this bed.. It was very incomfortable.. The free breakfast had little to offer.. The staff however was very friendly and helpful...

Review 44:My tub was dirty, chipped and rusted. The paint was chipped throughout the tub with a strangers hair in it!

Review 45:The bed was nice with optional air or heat!

Review 46:Everything else.

Review 47:The sink didn't work. There was no hot water to speak of. Our room had a view of the roof that had plenty of garbage all over it. The chairs were stained.

Review 48:Too many people partying in our hall from midnight to 3am. Elevator was having issues and beer spilled in the one that was working.

Review 49:The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Review 50:the grounds were littered - I would have not chosen to stay if we were driving around looking for lodging

Review 51:the front desk staff - all 3 of them - were outstanding

Review 52:The only thing good to say about this property was that the host was friendly, however, she was dressed unprofessional in a track suit. The hotel was so run down and dirty that my boyfriend and I walked in the room and walked right out and left. The sheets had cigarette burn stains, the carpets were black (supposed to be green, I think!?), the floor panels were falling off, the walls were cracked and had serious water damage under the paint. It smelled awful and made me very uncomfortable. I am typically someone who doesn't need a "luxury" hotel to rest my head for a night, and typically never leave reviews but it was that bad. Do not book.

Review 53:Building falling apart... walls have chips ,scuff marks, carpet has soil stains, furniture has striped edges with bare wood exposed. Bathtub floor is peeling, grout is missing. Overall impression is dingy and neglected, Ice machines removed expect for floor 3 & 6, non in lobby, no vending machines currently operating. Elevators are showing floor ' 7 ' for for ' 3 '. Pool is closed and an eyesore.

Review 54:The room needed to be cleaned better. The carpet was dirty. In the bathroom there was cigarette ashes on the floor. And not ours. They were there when we got there. The tub in our room was stained or cracked looking. There was only one pack of regular coffee. The coffee table in our room had bad places on it. The door that leads in and out of the building to the parking garage was supposed to be locked at 10pm for security but wasn't. The continental breakfast was horrible! The waffles tasted awful. My Husband took one bite and gagged and trashed it. The muffins tasted like out of date vending machine muffins. The oj was yucky. Apple juice not good either. I had a little cereal. Only edible thing and then we went out for breakfast. The whole building needs cleaned and repaired. All the hotel room doors were dirty and scratched up. All the carpet is filthy and stained. I wouldn't even walk barefoot on it tothe icemaker. Overall not worth $105. We won't be back.

Review 55:It was a convenient location to the ball field. We went to the Red's game Friday night. The bed was Awesome! We had a King size and itwas so ccomfortable. One front desk employee was nice. The man at the front desk was not friendly.

Review 56:I never got my internet to work on my iphone, but it worked fine for my devices like my laptop and kindle. Our bathroom sink only got hot water, but the shower pressure was good. You could tell it was an older room not updated recently. They still use box tvs. But I only need a place to sleep, shower, and have a snack in the morning.

Review 57:I liked the price, the staff, comfort of beds and the location. You can make your own waffles for breakfast. Janet was on night duty and super nice and accommodating. I stayed on 4th floor at the end of the hall, no noise problems at all.

Review 58:Shower was not in good condition (cracked walls, loose shower head, etc). Hair dryer had exposed wires but when I called to the front desk to report it they came immediately up to me with a replacement hair dryer.

Review 59:Downtown location was fantastic. Gas station with White Castle right across the street very convenient. Decent room with mini fridge, etc.....met our needs for the weekend!

Review 60:It was a smoking room and no ashtrays. Not enough towels, 2 more big towels would've been perfect!

Review 61:The location was perfect! We had the best time! The room was clean and amazingly cozy! The staff was very nice and very attentive!

Review 62:This hotel is old and tired, needs a major overhaul. The price is cheap, but we have stayed at Drury Inns for about $10.00 more. The free breakfast was bad, cold, and items weren't replenished. We were DT for something on Saturday and the Bengals game Sunday, so just needed a place to sleep and shower. It got the job done, but never again.

Review 63:Price, convenience to Paul Brown Stadium, free underground parking, Friendly staff.

Review 64:Cleanliness was a issue overall. In particular the bath had mold and crud around the soap holder and faucet. Housekeeping staff needs to do a bit more thorough job.

Review 65:Price and proximity to Horseshoe casino

Review 66:Felt uneasy about parking since the neighborhood seemed seedy. Was afraid to wonder too far from the hotel. The view was sub par. The hotel had an outdated 60's look.

Review 67:The desk clerk was friendly, the breakfast decent and the room was clean and comfortable.

Review 68:Ice machines were only on 2 of 5 floors. The was pealing wallpaper everywhere and our roll of toilet paper had gotten wet but housekeeping never bothered changing it. Luckily there was a 2nd roll.

Review 69:Loved the free parking and breakfast was good enough. Location was a conmfortable walk to downtown.

Review 70:Sketchy area Seemed unfinished Pool drained and not covered No security to get to main lobby/elevator TV was an old CRT Bathtub had cracks and holes

Review 71:Price was low

Review 72:Air-conditioning is a poor attempt to cool the room. No outlets for charging electronics except for the two in the bathroom. Carpet was filthy. Bed uncomfortable, pillows need some stuffing. Bathroom needed someone to clean the soap scum, and the build up on the faucets, CLR would clean that up. Water pressure is a joke, hot water is barely luke warm - morning and night. The area this motel is located is a barren metropolitan land with plenty of homeless and wanders, the wanders was my concern. Homeless just looking for a place to sleep, not a threat.

Review 73:Staff was friendly, but not enough to feel welcomed.

Review 74:This hotel looked nothing like the pictures. It was run down and very unclean. The pool was almost empty except for the foot of greenish brown sludge in the bottom.

Review 75:Building old, smelled like smoke, room and hallways excessively hot (they obviously keep the air off everywhere), wi-fi didn't work, old, not dirty but certainly not clean, overpriced for what it is. If I had to stay here again, $40 is a more appropriate price.

Review 76:hot breakfast

Review 77:Room decor outdated. Dirty bathroom. Faucet broken. Dirty carpet. Smelled bad in the room and especially in the elevator. Like smoke and old food. Pool area not clean and wasn't cleaned our whole stay. Fitness center was 1 room with 2 machines. Hallways were not air conditioned. Not worth the money to stay here. Enterance hard to find. No clear singe to where the lobby was. Very disappointing!!!

Review 78:The ONLY thing that was half way decent was the breakfast....and that wasn't even that great.

Review 79:Basically whenever I had a problem and bought it up I told "were only 2 stars" as an excuse and coming from someone who works at a hotel I couldn't be more mortified with such a cop out. You have to push the door up instead pulling down on the handle...I don't know who in their mind thinks to do that naturally but they don't tell you so you catch the elevator think your locked out to only go down and the front desk agent give you snark. Then also they don't answer the phone at night and blame you and when you walk down they sit off watching the security camera and chuckle at you when they come out. Honestly...the worst place I've ever stayed in my life

Review 80:Kumar the manager was a cool dude in the end. He initially called me a liar and I frankly was going to check out if my friend didn't convince me not to pay all that money but he did help with my reds tickets so I guess he wasn't all bad in the end

Review 81:Only got hotel because close to baseball stadium where I was going, but then didn't feel comfortable walking to stadium in area. Also address online and at booking.com is wrong gives you spot like 10 mins away. Had to call to get directions. Receptionist not very helpful or friendly. All in all bad experience would not stay there again.

Review 82:Right next to Interstate, so extremely noisy. Probably hasn't been updated in decades, but someone is really working hard to have it very clean. Breakfast isn't much. Location does not feel like it is safe, although it was close to everywhere I wanted to go. I left earlier than expected.

Review 83:Cleanliness

Review 84:Dingy carpeting, smoke smell in the elevators and lobby, loose plaster on the walls, shoddy caulk on the bathroom sink.

Review 85:Free parking and continental breakfast, (which I didn't eat). For the price it was ok- so so, at best.

Review 86:Location. Not near any restaurants but the bus was very convenient. Stops right in from and you are downtown in less than 10 minutes.

Review 87:The staff was wonderful. Very pleasant and helpful. The full breakfast was great. Dining area was very clean. They have a small store inside which contains everything you might have forgotten. My daughter was sick with a sore throat and we didn't have to leave the premises because they provided tea and had cough drops in the store.

Review 88:1.Very ran down and out dated2. Parking garage is unsecured and filthy/ open to the public. 3. Smell of cat urine and smoke when entering to check in 4. Hallway ceilings had visible water damage and unprofessional patch work in a sad attempt to fix it 5. Elevator was dirty and falling apart. 6. Inside the room, the air worked when it wanted too. 7. The bathroom counter had dirt and dust build up in the corners, and the counter top was coming off. 8. The sink knob came off every time we used the sink. 9. The tissue dispenser on the wall was rusted from water damage and caused the HARD tissue inside to be half wet and the dry ones had brown stains on half of it from where the water dried on them. 10. We asked for more towels the clerk said " Yea, come get em' ". 11. The outlets were loose. 12. The pillows were the size of decorative couch pillows and very lumpy. 13. There was a TV guide for the 1988 model TV, but, only 3 channels worked. 14. Last, but not least, the room stunk the whole weekend and we had to continuously kill gnats. **WE PAID 234.00 PER NIGHT AT THIS NASTY PLACE!

Review 89:Nothing

Review 90:It was overall dirty. Extremely overpriced. It smelled of smoke everywhere. The sink stopper was broken. The towels worn out. The soap was akin to lava hand soap. We would not stay here again.

Review 91:It was quiet

Review 92:Cockroaches were found in the bedroom. I have it on video as one crawled across the bedroom floor. They likely came in the building from the holes found in the walls of the hallways covered up by cardboard.

Review 93:Location to downtown

Review 94:The bathroom was the size of a porta-potty. The price was outrageous for what we walked into, could of stayed at a red roof that was cheaper and nicer. Was not in a good part of town. Beds were uncomfortable.

Review 95:The room was very old, and outdated. I question the cleanliness of it, due to tge fact that my rooms carpet was dirty, the bathroom looked like it might have had mildew or mold, one of the spreads on one of the queen beds had visible stains, and the curtains on the windows had burn holes in them. I was happy to check out. Great location to downtown though, just had some obvious issues.

Review 96:Didn't look like the pictures that I saw online.

Review 97:Old and out dated. Found two bugs in my room. Bathroom a mess, tub chipping away, floors were gross.ill never stay there again nor recommend to anyone! !

Review 98:No eggs (hard boiled) as breakfast choice

Review 99:Though the facility was older, it still was clean.

Review 100:The hallways smelled a little smoking but that didn't really affect our stay at all.

Review 101:Location was fantastic, as well as the staff!

Review 102:The room was dirty and outdated also no water pressure and breakfast no tongs to get food .

Review 103:The location

Review 104:Very dirty and outdated. Was afraid to touch the blankets. Smelled like smoke but was non smoking.

Review 105:It was only a 15 minute walk to Downtown.

Review 106:Noise level due to construction. Cost vs. value

Review 107:Location but I aid half for a room across the bridge with but amenities

Review 108:being remodeled fire alarm got set off by construction worker and he slinced it before the fire department got there

Review 109:fairly good location

Review 110:No courtesy by the owner. He was talking rules when I asked for hot water

Review 111:I would not stay there again.

Review 112:Had my son with me. Know pool plus rooms need remodeling bad old TV

Review 113:The location that's it

Review 114:all areas of hotel were unkempt, dirty, room had floor stains, paint stains....very poor quality hotel

Review 115:No cable

Review 116:comfort of the bed and pillows.

Review 117:This hotel has smoking rooms.

Review 118:Price and location

Review 119:under renovation - pool closed, no internet pc available, facility generally old & worn, pricy for what I got

Review 120:location & breakfast

Review 121:The location was awful and the hotel needs major upgrading

Review 122:The staff was friendly and helpful

Review 123:Breakfast was TERRIBLE NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL, STAFF HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING

Review 124:nothing really

Review 125:Pool out of action and room dirty place like a building site only booked for a pool off your website very disappointed.

Review 126:The room was not clean The location

Review 127:The staff was very nice and helpful

Review 128:The overall condition of the facility was terrible. Definitely not worth the money.

Review 129:Closeness to the event I was attending.

Review 130:BUGS IN MY ROOM . BED BUGS ???

Review 131:Front desk staff were really friendly
