Reviews for Oxford Suites Spokane
Review 1:The checkout time in their book and on the door and in the confirmation email we received after booking said noon. We had someone knocking at our door at 11:20 with the do not disturb sign on who then told us checkout was at 11:00. There is no way we would've known that but they kind of acted like we were inconveniencing them.
Review 2:It was clean and nice, appreciated the complimentary drinks and breakfast.
Review 3:We really appreciated the free drinks and snacks in the evening and then the full breakfast in the morning. We arrived at the hotel late in the day and didn't have to go anywhere as we had all we needed there.
Review 4:Pet hair everywhere. Pet friendly is one thing; sofa had so much animal hair we had to put a throw on it. Glass was also needing attention. Bistro not what we thought.
Review 5:Very nice and room was large and comfotable. Location of Hotel was a plus as we came to see Trans-Siberian and it was in walking distance. Over all stay was good
Review 6:Great place to stay in Spokane. Right on the river where you can walk to the park, falls (we had fun taking the little cable car over it) and downtown shops and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable, despite the hordes of children the room was quiet and we slept well. Love the free adult drinks in the evening!
Review 7:heater unit made a little too much noise and we were unable to keep the room at a comfortable temp.
Review 8:rooms were comfortable, didn't take advantage of the evening activities but breakfast was ok for what it was.
Review 9:It was close to the Park, walking to city shops, Chinese Lanterns, Near Pier !, Gonzaga (also walked there). Liked the Happy Hour with food and drinks. Breakfast was also great.
Review 10:No complaints.
Review 11:Great location, overlooking Spokane River, about a 10 min. walk across the foot bridge to central Spokane. Tasty breakfast buffet, free onsite parking, helpful, friendly staff, stable, reliable fast wifi connection.
Review 12:I had received a room with two queen beds and a couch - we were given a room with two beds and no couch. This made the sleeping arrangement less than desirable.
Review 13:The location was great, right on the river and walking distance to events and parks
Review 14:Placed in a room next to the elevator's, lots of noise and difficult to sleep when I asked to be moved, they stated they did not have another room to put me in. Toilet ran all night long and the TV was difficult to work.
Review 15:Close to down town and beautiful view of the river by the pool.
Review 16:We very much enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was beautiful to be on the river. We were able to walk to the parks and downtown area and take in the wonderful surroundings.
Review 17:The TV worked way too slow. sounded like mice or squirrels in the walls and/or ceiling at night. Breakfast was very minimal. No luggage racks in room
Review 18:I liked the view and we had a nice balcony. The room was large, clean and décor was up to date. Free parking
Review 19:wifi did not work. Hotel staff ignored us when we stood waiting to check in. Pillows were all too stuffed. No fan in bathroom.
Review 20:Nice new room, all new and pretty.
Review 21:We would have preferred larger, firmer pillows. Also, our room was next to the elevator shaft which was a bit loud in the morning and running very often. It sounded like laundry carts were being wheeled down the hall until we realized what it was. It didn't wake us but was a bit annoying. Next time we'll request a room farther down the hall.
Review 22:Good location and price. Friendly helpful staff. Our room had a little breakfast bar which was a nice surprise.
Review 23:Apparently, there was a computer glitch, and they rented our room to someone else. So, in the middle of the night we were awakened by the new residents. The next day the staff was quite apologies and gave us a partial refund on our room.
Review 24:Friendly, helpful staff - location next to river was nice - quality rooms
Review 25:The hotel is under major renovation. It would have been nice to know before I went. I know they have to do it but being prepared would be great. It definitely needs it as it is slightly old.
Review 26:I thought the sauna and hot tub were wonderful. For the most part the staff were very helpful and it is across from a mall and dining places.
Review 27:King bed was a bit firm for the ladies. I slept on the pullout and it was fine. Maybe have an extra luggage dolly - the two on site seemed to be always in use.
Review 28:Close to Gonzaga (my daughter had an interview) and downtown; courteous & competent front desk and housekeeping & food staff; very clean; good breakfast & happy hour; lotions/shampoos. Didn't hassle me when I needed extra half hour checkout due to interview at Gonzaga.
Review 29:Lots of noise from the street, even with ear plugs it was quite noisy.
Review 30:Good room, comfy bed, nice restaurant with great food, friendly staff, clean everywhere. Got a couple vouchers for free drinks in the restaurant. Definitely ému recommended.
Review 31:Room was noisy. Sounded like the room upstairs was moving furniture all night. Could even here the people using the restroom. At checkout we told the main office and they acted as if we were making up a good story. Although the view was beautiful, I would not stay here again because of that.g
Review 32:View of the river from our room was excellent and great location.
Review 33:The staff were so friendly and helpful. And they got me into my room early so that I could get ready for a meeting after a long morning of flight delays. Wonderful experience all around!
Review 34:SHUTTLE BUS AVAILABILITY NEEDS MUCH IMPROVEMENT. BREAKFAST NEEDS LONGER TIME AVAILABLE.
Review 35:STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY . BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE . ROOMS VERY CLEAN.
Review 36:The room was kept very clean. Staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. I love the breakfast Buffett and the evening ' snack' that was provided. I will stay here again when I visit Spokane.
Review 37:the couch was not comfy in the room and they ran out of ice cream
Review 38:The staff was friendly and the hotel overall had a lovely appearance . It was close to downtown and everything was within walking distance .
Review 39:What didn't i like ! I really enjoyed the complementary breakfast, and then when asking if they could order a taxi to the location, there was a complimentary shuttle !! Omg it was great.
Review 40:The food at the bistro had a very limited menu and breakfast was limited in selection and very little freshly prepared.
Review 41:The location as it was near walking trail and university campuses.
Review 42:Not so bad that it would prevent me from staying again. Breakfast could be organized a little better, had to wait in a long line up then had to wait for food to be replenished. Then again, it was a holiday weekend, so may not always be like that.
Review 43:Quick check-in and check-out, helpful desk clerks, convenient location, clean comfortable rooms. Overall, a well managed business.
Review 44:Noise. Ice machine right outside door made ice all night. Neighbors slamming door. Very small bathroom. Not sure a man wood have room to use toilet while standing. Felt $200 a night was too much for the lack of sleep we experienced.
Review 45:Very clean room. Nicely appointed. Balcony overlooking the river.
Review 46:Staff was so accomodating. We needed an extra night on a full weekend. They called as we started our drive to Spokane to say that they had room for the second night.
Review 47:Leaving Hard to leave such a great place
Review 48:We had a riverside room with balcony that we loved. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Cleanliness and service top notch. Will stay again
Review 49:Room was appointed nicely. Staff was more than accommodating. Nice to have free breakfast but overall quality of food didn't match with room quality
Review 50:The breakfast has declined. Only whole wheat bread available, the only choice of eggs were scrambled. My wife asked for one fried egg and was told, we have scrambled. No pancakes nor waffles.
Review 51:The staff are usually friendly and nice. The rooms and the property are always clean and well taken care of.
Review 52:Sofa sleeper mattress was poor. Would like to see more variety in the breakfast; like pancakes, french toast, etc.
Review 53:Location was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful.
Review 54:I went with my 18 and 20 year old daughters. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice view of the river. Easy and beautiful stroll into town over bridges and an island. Riverfront trail goes on for miles - great for an early morning run. Good breakfast - good value!
Review 55:Stayed here for a sporting event nearby. The staff were extremely helpful - the front desk person Olivia, was so friendly and helpful and very welcoming!
Review 56:The hotel was nice but old and tired. The hallways and other common ares not very clean or bright. The little store was supposed to be manned by the staff at the front desk, but they were not attentive to people in the store.
Review 57:The bed was comfortable and the room clean.
Review 58:The entire building is beautiful and clean. The rooms are furnished very nice. The staff are always smiling, friendly and willing to help in any way needed. We have stayed two times and would stay again.
Review 59:The bathroom felt a little claustrophobic as it was on the small side.
Review 60:Loved the room and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for a main floor room and we got it. Breakfast was a good variety and plentiful.
Review 61:Most uncomfortable beds ever. King bed was hard with barely any cushion. Sofa bed was horrible - thin hard mattress that allowed every bump and ridge of the metal frame below to be felt. Room was advertised as a family king suite, so sofa bed was intended to be used. Barely any walking room between beds and furniture.
Review 62:Staff was friendly and helpful. Alowed us to check in early to get ready for a 3 pm wedding on Saturday afternoon.
Review 63:Entirely adequate but not what I'd recommend if you're looking for a special experience. I find it slightly overpriced for what you get. Also, it is not close to any restaurants or other facilities, so the location isn't my first choice.
Review 64:Staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean.
Review 65:Our check in was excellent and smooth. We were walking distance from the INB Performing Arts Center and were able to park our car and walk to our event. When I realized I had forgotten a charger for my cell phone, I checked at the desk and he went through his bucket o' chargers and found me one for my phone. Breakfast is great, staff is great.
Review 66:Oxford suites was very accommodating the rooms were large the amenities were great the pool is wonderful you were very helpful staff very wonderful stay will definitely go back again
Review 67:Nothing.
Review 68:Staff were caring, courteous and helpful. Accommodations were excellent. Contrary to other comments there were vents in the bathroom. Very quiet overall. The "happy hour" was a bonus with enough snacks to satisfy. Overall an excellent stay.
Review 69:The only recommendation we could give this hotel, would be to upgrade the Kleenex and toilet paper. Somehow the quality of those items do not match the quality of everything else in this hotel.
Review 70:The staff were amazingly helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Location was amazing; right on the circular river path and close to downtown.
Review 71:It would have been better if the dining area was on the ground floor, instead of in the basement. But the staff in the restaurant was great.
Review 72:The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Hotel staff was wonderful.
Review 73:Staff was helpful with a number of requests. Several from our extended family were there for a wedding in Spokane, and we were received warmly and treated graciously. Good food, hospitality, and staff members going out of their way to help! I highly recommend Oxford Suites.
Review 74:We had to leave....and could not stay another night as booked :-(
Review 75:Location, front desk very helpful, the extras this hotel did....from evening wine and cheese to great breakfast in morning....with eggs, fruit and good coffee
Review 76:No fan in bathroom. Would have liked the sink to be a bit more private. Toiletries a bit harsh for most women. Bistro would have been more enjoyable off main lobby with view of river.
Review 77:Location was great, close to everything and easy for driving. Breakfast was good and evening reception a real plus giving good value for money.
Review 78:Booked a room with 2 queen beds and this turned out to be right next to the elevators--could hear/feel a constant rumble from the elevators. No other rooms available and apparently all 2-queen bed rooms are in similar location.
Review 79:Central location Rooms are bigger than standard hotel size.
Review 80:Nothing!
Review 81:Everything - The staff are phenominal, the location is perfect. Everything the hotel has to offer is excellent quality. They take pride in their work and it shows in every aspect. The hotel room was the cleanest room I have ever been in. The amenities are tops, the breakfast has excellent selection and plenty for everyone. I can't say enough positive things - You should stay there yourself and check it out. I promise you won't be sorry.
Review 82:Bed a little too firm for us.
Review 83:Staff was great, very helpful
Review 84:I missed my own bed. The bed wasn't too bad but not the best either
Review 85:The staff and the pool. I enjoyed the breakfast as well.
Review 86:nothing. everything was great.
Review 87:breakfast and evening cocktails were a wonderful way to start and end my day.
Review 88:Staff was very professional yet, warm and friendly - nice way to make us feel welcome!
Review 89:Friendly staff who were always helpful plus excellent room and good free breakfast superior to any others we have had.
Review 90:I don't like the bathroom sink in the living area instead of the bathroom.
Review 91:Nice property, good location, excellent front desk staff, pet friendly.
Review 92:We were able to check in early after pulling an all-nighter driving. Beds were comfy and clean and nobody bothered us at all. Thank you...
Review 93:Not much in a short walking distance, limited parking, would have liked pool to be open later.

Review 104:Clean comfy room
Review 105:pillow, too small
Review 106:The location is fanatastiv
Review 107:They were painting pool area and it was closed. No notice to us.
Review 108:Nice Place
Review 109:Terrible room setup. There was a sink in the room but not the bathroom.
Review 110:Great location
Review 111:Happy hour snacks were pathetic.
Review 112:Facility, breakfast, pool and hot tub and the room.
Review 113:Pillows
Review 114:Friendly staff and very modern and clean.
Review 115:Location on the Riverwalk and excellent facilities.
Review 116:Free breakfast was bad...guess you got what you paid for! Everything else was great!
Review 117:Room and view
Review 118:Perfect location, close to shopping and the cycle trail. Good value for money ie. price included a suite with evening snack and breakfast.
Review 119:Great breakfast And evening snack. We also enjoyed the nearby park and event.
Review 120:Eggs, need to be real
Review 121:Facility in general was very comfortable.
Review 122:I knew we got a free breakfast. But I thought it would be like every other hotel. Insteas it was a hot cooked breakfast. Awesome!
Review 123:location was perfect to walk to dinner and then an evening walk back to the hotel
Review 124:Did not like room next to elevator
Review 125:Walk along the river all the way to Spokane Falls, kudos to Spokane!
