Review 1：The manager is the single rudest lady I have ever met. I will never return to this hotel because of her attitude towards people. I will go to Miss Molley's or the stockyards hotel from now on.

Review 3：Odor in our room (#12) was sickening. Not sure what it was but certainly offensive. Curry smell in corridor and lobby was off-putting. Wet spot on sheet was not a welcoming experience at bed time! Manager who called to confirm my online reservation prior to arrival and checked us in, was not customer service oriented and most would likely consider her rude! I sure did!!

Review 6：The location was great but the room was not worth $125. The door to room stuck everytime we tried to shut it; the shower curtain rod fell anytime you tried to shower. There was no where to place hanging clothes. The shower was not clean, had hair in the bottom. I know the building is older, but the room needs some upkeep.

Review 13：I received a phone call the morning of check in "confirming"we were still coming and stating we could check in early which is theonly nice thing I can say about my stay. I then received another phonecall 1.5hrs later while we were on our way asking when we would bethere. I let her know we were on our way and hung up. She then calledagain asking if I was paying with cash or credit card. I told her creditcard. When we got there the woman behind the desk was on the phone onwhat seemed to be a non business related conversation and did not evenacknowledge we were there. After approximately 3-4 minutes she finallygot off the phone and helped us. I gave her my credit card and she askedif I could pay cash. I said no and that I had told her I was paying bycard on the phone. She ran my card and stated it declined and said itwas due to the expiration date (2020). I was then "forced" togo get cash for my room which I think was done purposely but when I gaveher $140 for my $125 room she did not have change and said she wouldgive it to me in the morning! Unacceptable! I can deal with brokenblinds in the bathroom and a shower that takes 10min to warm up but Ican not take poor customer service and horrible business practices! Iwill not be staying here again.

Review 15：The bathrooms had mold on walls. The shower sprayed water everywhere. toilet ran water all night long. (Room #3 sucked) This was one of the nastiest hotels I have stated at.
Review 16：Location was the only good thing about this hotel. Bed was okay and did look clean with newer mattress and no bedbugs. Sheets are not fitted though, wasn't a fan of them.
Review 17：I payed per night and reception called me at 2am demanding money then again at 8am, because they like you to pay for each night you stay on that night, not a lump payment at the beginning or end? .... And at 3:30 am the same night the room above was having a shower and it leaked through to my room right beside my bed . (Room7) . A big leak! I used 4 towels to have it pour onto! I went to find staff and no one was about which considering they called me an hour and half ago is strange .... In the morning after my 8 am demanding money call she didn't seem to care and actualy knew about the leak, but had done nothing about it. the taps on the bath in my room where broken, so I presume the same was as above. All in all I was meant to stay 4 nights needles to say I didn't, and I was not compensated or discounted for all these faults.

Review 20：When I arrived no one was at the front desk and when I rang the bell the reception is seemed bothered that I woke her up. She also didn't care to give proper directions to places like the nearest laundromat. She told me it was one block away when it was actually over a mile away. Also the credit card machine didn't work and she would only accept cash upfront. Normally people traveling don't carry around that much cash for safety reasons.

Review 36：Booked 2 king rooms, was given one queen and one king. Was not given any difference in price. Was told by manager there wasn't that much difference in a queen and king. Only AC was a window unit and unit is not turned on until you get into your room. Room was already well over 80 when we checked in. Bed was broken, curtain rod was broken, bedding was ripped, no fitted sheet on the bed. TV gave message that service was lost. Missing lampshade and dirt caked on window blind.

Review 38：The woman who was on 'duty' Saturday night is someone who needs to get a life. I had read about her on reviews, and she did not 'disappoint'. My wife and I had just walked back to our room from H3 Ranch Restaurant and dinner, and were yelled at as to what and where we were going. At checkout she was as aloof and just plain unfriendly as anyone could be. Of course she may be the owner or the wife of the owner, so she will be there for others to visit, I'm sure.

There was no toilet paper, the beds were disgusting!!! under the mattress was pillows to prop the bed up, it smelt like curry, the manager was rude and tried to over charge me I have nothing good to say about this accommodation and I'm not a fussy traveller. I think bookings.com should remove this from their listing.
Review 45：After a normal check in where a credit card was taken we received a call to our room demanding we come to the front desk. When we got there a different staff member than the girl who checked us in explained they had a problem with their card reader and demanded that we immediately pay cash for the entire stay, we refused so she demanded we immediately visit an ATM to pay for the first night, we again refused and say we could pay cash at the end of our stay if their card machine was still down, with that she seemed to give up insisting on cash and we didn't hear any more about it? Seemed like a scam to us.
Review 46：Walked in and it smelt bad. On the outside it is filthy and looks dilapidated. I asked for parking in my booking and was told to find parking on the streets. When asking about parking the woman was very abrupt. The one and only person who did not offer us Texas hospitality during our 10 day stay around the state Didn't stay any longer

The man behind the front desk was rude and wanted cash with exact change. He also would not give me a receipt. Terrible place and I will not stay there again.

Review 86：The woman at the front desk (we think it was the owner) was not very friendly. When we got to our room our toilet was not working. We asked the woman at the front desk to have it fixed and she said she had no maintenance person to fix it. We asked to be moved to another room and she said she had none available. Her solution was for us to pour 3 buckets full of water into the tank every time we needed to flush...she offered us a discount and said she would give us the refund when we checked out. When we checked out she made up some excuse why she couldn't do it that day and promised to do it the next day. Needless to say... We never got our refund!

I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes and finally decided to call her. She said she was eating and would be out in a few minutes. After waiting another 10 minutes she came out with a towel on her head saying she was in the shower. The next morning there was no toilet paper and here again no one was at the front desk. I think customer service and care was extremely poor. Who eats and then takes a shower knowing the customer has arrived for check in? Very disappointed in how they treat their guests. I would stay again due to the location and price.
