Reviews for Petit Rouge Vakantiecentrum
Review 1:There was no tea making facility in the room We had to arrange for the sauna to be switched on but the steam room wasn't , such a pity
Review 2:We had fantastic sea views, The pool was great Our room was very clean, with a TV And a small balcony The staff were very helpful
Review 3:Car park not easy to get to.
Review 4:Friendly reception staff. Great sea views from the room and the dining room bar area. A value for money seafront hotel, with clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast was also very good.
Review 5:The cheapness of the furniture in the room and the restaurant, the staff (especially at the reception) never smiling or being friendly, even rude when you ask something ! The food ... OMG never eaten so badly, almost rotten. And again the waiter not polite at all.
Review 6:the view
Review 7:1. room smell bad 2. no wifi in the rooms, we need to go out of the room to have a wifi 2. Auto parking is not accessible from the hotel, we need to go and come from front door of the parking
Review 8:staff very helpful
Review 9:Very hard to find if following sat nav as it's located in a pedestrianised area
Review 10:Lovely view overlooking beach. Receptionist was fantastic so helpful and friendly managing to get a space in the underground car park for us
Review 11:No kettle to make drinks. Lack of written information, I had got up early to go in the pool before breakfast, thinking it would be open, but had a 3 hr wait before it did. I gather the information on opening hours should have been given verbally on arrival, but I can't recall that. It may have been along with other details about breakfast/evening meal times/arrangements for door at night etc, but it needs to be written down somewhere, a simple bedroom information sheet would be easy to produce. Lack of lounge area to sit in outside of the room. Poor wifi signal, none in room and difficult and slow to access most of the time in other public areas.
Review 12:Seafront position. Spacious room and good storage space. TV reception and range of channels. Swimming pool/jacuzzi excellent and water quality well tended and monitored. Friendly, helpful staff, cleanliness of restaurant and great service and food quality.

Review 17:It wasn't the first time I stayed at the Petit Rouge Vakantiecentrum. It's actually my favourite hotel in Blankenberge but since my previous stay they invested in better Wi-Fi connection, new matrasses for beds and satelite TV in every room.
Review 18:check out timining forcing people to stand one hour in the que for nothing, please change that policy you will only loose clients.... Sauna et Haman close on Sundays ...should be open saturday until 21.
Review 19:No fridge, coffee-making facilities. Room with no view (to roofs and inner yard) with wall over painted but still need renovation. Price list outside showed a lower price off-season. Check out already at 10.30.

Review 29:Personeel een goede!
Review 30:Nothing really.
Review 31:Great sea front location. Good breakfast with cooked options. Good sized room.
Review 32:Stayed in Blankenberge to create an extra beach dimension to a Bruges trip and to be honest to save money, only to then weaken and pay the sea view supplement. So that was kind of dumb finance wise - my fault I guess rather than the hotel. Happy with it though. The breakfast is not good. Seemed to have ordered and put out far too many pastries and then let them go hard. scrambled egg and bacon a bit stewed in a heater. You won't see this in my hotel score though because I looked at many other hotels in Blankenberge and they had no breakfast at all for the money. It wasn't good but I prefer to think about what they gave me in the one price rather than what was missing.
Review 33:Friendly reception, clean rooms, excellent positioning on the beach relative to other attractions (somewhere near the middle).I was very worried about parking having read other reviews. The facility is under the hotel on floors -4 and -4.5 but they are as good as any commercial carpark size wise (we have a Ford Galaxy) it went in fine. Do need to walk back up the down ramp which some may find daunting and I guess if I was disabled I would find that annoying - but I am not and it was fine. MUCH easier than others would give the impression. Also the car park card did work. Need to leave it in a little before withdrawing but it's not run by reception as others have claimed - it does work on its own.Sea balconies are flat against the building. You can just about stand on them to take in the view but don't expect chairs and a table. We enjoyed the beach and tried the Goolfy blacklight golf next door which was a laugh if a bit expensive. Also walked to the end of the pier.Blankenberge has a defensive dyke along its front that acts as a promenade. The buildings start one floor lower and then sit on top. There is an absolute wall of them which can be a bit overpowering. My tip - don't walk so close to them! A real difference on the far side of the dyke. Beach is end to end with Ibiza style beach areas with soft cushions and play areas. There is a reptile zoo (not visited) a sea life centre (not visited) and a pier. This is a bit run down but not as bad as others have painted and it is decked at its end by the restaurant not tarmac one end to the other. Lovely view from the end and tarmac just fine. For kids there is also a go cart track that runs under the pier and quite curiously a mini wooden, banked velodrome with rental bikes. Some surfers also to side of pier at O'Neil beach club. Seemed like regular waves if not that big.Trains to Bruges are one per hour so it's important to check timetables on the internet.
Review 34:Some people on the staff, especially at breakfast, telling me where to sit and not to sit, without any 'Reserved' signs on any tables.
Review 35:Location
Review 36:The tv could have had programms in other languages.
Review 37:I liked the swimming pool, the breakfast was great, the room was cleanand cosy, friendly personnel and the location of the hotel was good. SoI enjoyed it very much!
Review 38:- the mattress was far too soft; we didn't sleep well and we got back pain - staff forgot to refill soap during the whole stay and we had to ask for toilet paper...
Review 39:- free pool & free whirlpool & lots of wellness offers (for charge) - location & view (seaside on 9th floor) - friendly staff - little nice room - very quiet
Review 40:Breakfast was excellent.
Review 41:Sauna was rather cold, steamroom smelled... Slippery floors
Review 42:Lovely seaview
