Review 1：I did not have a bad experience but currently there is some construction next door which is mildly inconvenient but even that will eventually be a co-located restaurant .

Review 4：many perks - great hot breakfast (the best we have ever had in a motel), hot tub and pool, snacks and coffee in the lobby all the time. Staff very friendly!

Review 5：The door jamb to room 149 has issues. It appears some work has been attempted (between our two stays last week) but it is missing woodwork in places. We felt it was secure, but it certainly looks like cosmetic and insulative work needs to continue.

Review 7：Unfortunately the furnishings were old and beat up (and I'm not talking "vintage"), the carpet was filthy and stained, and the walls really needed paint. The bathroom appeared to be clean but who knows. The free Wi-Fi was completely useless. My phone couldn't even detect the network. My tablet found the network and was able to connect but the signal was so weak it kept losing connection about every 30 seconds. And even when it held longer than that the signal was so weak that it was useless. If this place was updated and cleaned up it would be an easy five stars. Unfortunately as it sits I can only give it two (I'm docking two stars for the absolutely gross carpet). I'll try someplace else next time.

Review 8：Access from the interstate couldn't be easier. Front desk staff was courteous and friendly, and checking in was a breeze. Parking was good, it looked like you could park your car within sight no matter what room you had. I had a single queen room and the room was a nice size, and I liked the layout. It was equipped with everything you need and yet there was still room to move around freely, and everything worked! The bathroom was also a nice size and well laid out.

Review 9：I liked everything about this motel. I found it to be very peaceful with the creek running behind our room it was so very relaxing. The staff is fantastic and the breakfast was great. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Review 10：Staff was friendly and eager to help. The breakfast was substantial and well prepared. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Proximaty to the interstate was convenient for our trip, but the location would not be conducive to walking downtown.

Review 11：It appeared as if the property was recently reopened and was in the process of being rehabbed. While clean, it was overeall pretty shabby, except for the interior of the lobby area which was nice. For the condition of the property, the price was too high.

Review 18：Our room had a VERY strong urine smell that put a child in our bed as it was so strong by one bed, one could not sleep there. We left our heat on and window cracked because of the smell. We did inform front desk of problem. Not sure, think it was animal urine, hopefully not human urine!

I explained that I needed I first floor room due to disabilities and ended up walking a quite a distance to our room. The room was not updated as shown on the website. The toilet ran quite a bit.

Review 109：The place is run down, carpets dirty, furnishings old, dust mites rampant and the bed pillows are old and smelly. There have been no updates or renovations for decades! I stayed because of the 3 star rating and it is not deserved. The wifi doesn't reach all rooms so they moved me and upgraded my room, which apparently meant the carpet had been cleaned.

My husband switched rooms to get the creek view. It seems that they are redoing the rooms. We went from a very nice updated room to one that was filled with scratched and wobbly furniture and old carpeting. Although it was pretty clean, it was not worth changing for the view.
