Review 1：When we arrived, it looked like the Trade Winds had become a Motel 6. The counter person barley spoke, and seemed to only care about listening to music on their phone. The sign outside, and online said Wi-Fi and breakfast, which they no longer offered apparently. The room was ok. The bed was practically a rock slab, and so were the pillows. It was also fairly filthy under the bed.

Review 2：The location was good. Being directly on Division street made traveling for shopping and eating very convenient.

Review 3：One lampshade in room was broken, worried about getting charged for it. Notified staff, they said would bring a new one, but that never happened. They stopped serving the continental breakfast.

Review 5：They discontinued continental breakfast. They had a new computer system and couldn't print me a receipt. Also, I booked room for check in on 30 Dec 15, check out 31 Dec 15. Booking.com gave them data that I checked in 29 Dec 15 and was already there. When I checked out, they thought I owed for two nights. Was worried going to be charged double for one night due to your mistake. My confirmation on my phone said proper dates, their computer said different dates.

Review 7：An employee/manager we will call, "Charlene" -working the daytime front desk- refused to honor our confirmation from Booking.com for a late check out, even though we checked in late, and were given a confirmation receipt, she was outrageous in her belligerence, has absolutely zero skill or bedside manner for the hospitality industry. She single handedly ruined our stay, and we will never again stay with this company again, nor utilize a booking site/system which cannot honor it's own guidelines.

Review 9：I wish I was able to review this hotel. We booked due to a majorwindstorm knocking out power throughout half the city. Many hotels hadnotifications that they too had no power. We saw no such warning so webooked. Only to find a deserted parking lot. We did run into an employeein the who was nice enough I suppose. But real quick to tell us that thehotel would not be responsible for reimbursement & seemed a bitannoyed that we had questions or that we were even there. I am 8mthspregnant & we had out 15mth old daughter & 3yr old nephew in thecar excited to finally have heat, cartoons & most of all, swim! Itwas a major disappointment. Thankfully we did not get charged. Thelocation is great. If ur not from Spokane, take it from a local. Thishotel is on our main North South thoroughfare (we have no n/sfreeway),is a mile or two from downtown which is kinda a long walk butthe bus is right there and walking distance to the N.town mall & abulk or two from walgreens. Awesome Italian rest across the street hbreakfast house next door. Stayed here before the name change (formerlyHoward Johnson) rooms were small but clean with everything needed.

Review 10：Tried to call instead of booking on line as this was an emergent same day reservation, should have known when no one answered the phone that something was wrong. My teen son and 2 teammates got to address and place is run down, fenced off and in a scary neighborhood. It is ridiculous that this listing is still posted by your company!!

Review 12：Halls stunk!! Dirty carpets. Rough blanket window didn't lock. TV lousy. Electrical outlet wouldn't take a cord. Top fell out and bottom felt like it could burn my phone. Worst smell through out like dope or skunk. Shower horrible and controlsee were backwards. Web site said pool was closed but it looked great

Review 14：The hotel was in need of repair. The toilet in our room ran so loudly we had to shut off the water to it. Breakfast was anemic and the 2% milk was sour. A week before we stayed at a much nicer hotel in Spokane for the same price.

Review 18：The public bus goes right in front of the hitel and goes right past the convention center. Saved a lot of money over renting a car. There were good restaurants nearby within walking distance or direct route of the bus line.

Review 23：The TV blew up and caught on fire Sunday AM while watching. Had to disconnect and extinguish the fire. Not very relaxating. Pool seemed always closed and not opened when indicated. Shower ran with Luke warm to cold. Staff stated there was no problem with the temperature,set at the proper temp so we would not burn ourselves.

The break fast was very sad, crumbling quarter sliced muffins, luke warm coffee, we did not eat there. The common area smelled bad. The wall s are very thin, so good luck if you have anyone in the adjoining rooms.

Cleaning staff had only one or 2 ladies that knew how to clean while others were engrossed playing with their cell phone. The Inn needs many repairs / renovations but could still maintain expected standards by having it properly cleaned.

Review 41：I was frustrated to find my room was not overly clean, and rather that it had a somewhat musty smell, that the carpets were sticky in several places, and that the A/C made a very loud noise if we turned it on. Also, the included breakfast was merely dry cereal, toast, apples, or bananas. It suited our immediate needs, but was not somewhere I would choose to stay at again.

Review 42：I like the rate and the fact that it is an inside hallway, so it was more secure than a motel. The lobby appeared clean and attractive, and the staff I spoke with were friendly, even though largely unable to assist with my specific concerns.

Boys' room didn't have a screen on the second floor window. Hard beds. Dirty carpet. Old TVs. Mold in both bathrooms. No waffles during the week. Had to ask at checkin desk for yogurt. Other breakfast items were pitiful. Ice machine flooded hallway. Staff at night was snarky.

Review 55：The doorbell into the lobby was my first value this was going to be interesting. The night time desk clerk was asking us if we had pets (5 times)? No... My friend had a purse.. What kind of pets could fit in a purse? EVERY soda machine ate out money.... Breakfast was free to those who got up with the birds... My reservation information was grossly mishandled until we asked to cancel the last portion of our stay. If your on a tight budget and don't mind a tight budget room & can avoid the staff I would suggest this place but never recommend it.
