Reviews for AT&T Hotel & Conference Center
Review 1:Unfortunately during the couple of days over new years when we stayed the university was closed and all surroundings were a bit quiet including some shops and restaurants in the hotel. I'm sure when its all operating it'd be a great place to stay.
Review 2:A good, clean and well equipped hotel.
Review 3:Large carpet stain in the middle of our room. Since occupancy was really low at Christmas, I'm very surprised they kept a room in this condition in inventory.
Review 4:We love the access to downtown and Bass concert hall this location gives us. It felt like we almost had the hotel to ourselves. It wasn't decorated near as festively as other hotels for Christmas
Review 5:Not bad but staff seemed undertrained. Not rude but not glad to have your business. Almost dour. Did not go the extra step to be sure you were comfortable. Did not offer to have someone help me with my bags when I arrived at 11:30pm.
Review 6:Space was beautiful, food delicious.
Review 7:For the price you might as well go to a motel 6. Way to expensive for the small rooms and location. The staff got an attitude when I ask my both of my cards were declined. When it was clearly there system at fault. Do not stay here!
Review 8:The air conditioner was broken and always working. I left the hotel with a cold. They didn't offered me nothing for the inconvenience (they sent someone to fix the problem but I told yhem it didn't work). No room change.
Review 9:Location was perfect.
Review 10:the staff was not as friendly as usual, and the breakfast room service, the menu changed (not in a good way!) and the food was cold.
Review 11:I love the location
Review 12:The building is a little complicated, with an elevator for each section (rooms, parking & pool) and the front desk not being in an obvious location as such. All easily worked around but confusing on first visit.
Review 13:Lovely staff & beautiful building. Location was perfect for our trip, a short walk away from the main areas of the city (or a $5 cab ride if the heat gets too much) and sat right next to the University of Texas campus which is absolutely stunning.
Review 14:Got a little warm at times with the conservation ac efforts, so of hard to keep the room cool, but it was not uncomfortable just not as cool as we would have like it to be. Parking was expensive.
Review 15:Great stay, great staff, room was clean and nice, loved the balcony. Location was good for business meeting not as good for exploring the more popular area of Austin in Summer,
Review 16:Pool was full of leaves
Review 17:Although pool was not as clean as I would like it was the perfect size for the kids. Since the deepest end was only 3 1/2 feet this was perfect for my youngest child. The overall hotel was modern and clean and easy to come and go as needed. Very close to the capital.
Review 18:There was not a thing I didn't like.
Review 19:We got a suite for less than the price of a room! We only stayed one night, but for that price, I should have booked two nights.
Review 20:Our room was on the courtyard and birds chirped and sang all night. We didn't know birds made so much noise at night. They next morning they were quiet but at night it was really loud. Room was next to housekeeping room which smelled like a trash dump was in there. You could smell it in the hall outside our room.
Review 21:The room was nice and great service.
Review 22:Appreciate the chef's creativity, but really just want the option of traditional eggs benedict and other breakfast items.
Review 23:Nice staff, timely resolution of problems, super comfy beds.
Review 24:The door leading to the neighbor's room leaking a fair amount of noise (TV, ...).
Review 25:The hall, the breakfast, the quality of the bed, the large choice of pillows, the view in the courtyard.
Review 26:no bathtub..no diet soda in vending machine. .vending not marked. Shampoo and soap bottles to small. .
Review 27:Location perfect for touring campus. Blow dryer and make up Mirror were nice.
Review 28:We have no complaints.
Review 29:Besides the great staff, the beds were so comfortable and the view of downtown was thrilling. All the shops below were staffed with courteous, friendly people.
Review 30:Paying for parking the room is not cheap which is fine because it was worth the stay but if we are staying there as guest why should we have to pay for parking for choosing your hotel ? And 2 nd thing when arriving they asked for a credit card to have on file not once did they say it would be a 50.00 dollar charge I noticed because I checked my account luckily there was funds to cover it if not I would had a nsf .
Review 31:The bed and the pillows extremely soft and comfortable , and a lot of towels did not have to ask for more thats a plus love love the bathroom and very spacious no smoke smell .
Review 32:Everybody was so nice and helpful. A lady in the elevator helped us find our way down the right direction. A man in our hallway asked us if we needed help with a smile. There was staff everywhere, which made me feel very safe:) Even better, our check out time was 12.
Review 33:I didn't like the noise from the adjoining room. Why would the rooms be adjoined with only a door? The noise went on during the day, so I couldn't work or nap. Then at night starting at 11pm. I had to finally call the front desk at 1am and ask for help. Security was sent.....but I overslept and didn't get any rest.
Review 34:I liked the location and the courtyard. The staff was friendly for the most part, but the outside staff never opened the door as I walked up with my hands full.
Review 35:Since Austin is a pretty much college town, the hotel and area were pretty empty. Some of the hotel's restaurants were closed for the Christmas holiday, understandably, but they still kept two of their restaurants open and the food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Review 36:This hotel it was overpriced. SHEETS NOT CHANGED & NO free coffee in the mornings. The coffee left in the room is NOT quality coffee. I was told I would be REIMBURSED FOR INCIDENTALS AND I HAVE NOT BEEN YET. Still waiting after 3 days.
Review 37:Courteous staff. Location.
Review 38:I didn't like the fact that the WiFi was terrible. I also didn't enjoy the room I was staying in (7070) was next to a cleaning equipment room, and I could hear them slam the door every morning/during the day. I could also hear the elevators.
Review 39:How close to campus it was,and how clean it was.
Review 40:i am an older (50-60ish) ethnic person, dress for comfort. i felt the staff was cold and i wonder if they treat everyone like this?
Review 41:location, cleanliness
Review 42:We absolutely loved the location! We came for a concert and were within walking distance from the venue. The staff was excellent and the convenience of the restaurant options downstairs were great! We will be staying here in the future.
Review 43:There wasn't anything I didn't like.
Review 44:The hotel lobby and entryways are very pretty. The rooms are beautiful and the bed was so comfortable-especially the pillows!
Review 45:Breakfast is a disaster. Buffet is great, but service from seating to getting a cup of coffee of OJ appears to catch everyone by surprise. The staffing level seems ok but somehow I get the impression that the workers are all surprised that we want breakfast. this is in sharp contrast to dinner in the very same space, where the service is then impeccable. I have been here twice and the horrific breakfast experience was the same.
Review 46:Room, Lobby and just about all the facilities
Review 47:The fact that we had to leave.
Review 48:The service is second to none. Extremely receptive to any and all requests or questions. The dining facility and service should be rated as 5 stars. I wanted this to be a very special event, and staying here really made that come true. Nathen and the staff are extremely professional and personable. I highly recommend staying here. I would rate it a 10 out of 10. And thank you for everything.
Review 49:We had an awesome stay at the AT&T center! Came for the longhorns game and a night out. Anything we needed the staff was more than willing to provide with a smile I might add. Shannon at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating!! We will DEFINITLEY be back!
Review 50:LOVED all the UT décor! It got me pumped for the football game! It is so close to all of the tailgates and the stadium so it was really easy to tailgate-hop and take breaks at the hotel. I brought some friends back after we got too hot tailgating and we sat in one of the couch areas with a TV in the lobby and watched some of the other games that were on. Air conditioning, LOTS of comfy couches, TV - not the traditional tailgate but I think that's how I want to "tailgate" from now on!
Review 51:The wi-fi was terrible - and would drop you all the time. For a hotel with the AT&T name, you would think at least the AT&T network would have been reliable, but it wasn't. The burnt orange decor was too much for this aggie. Our room was small, outdated, not very clean, and noisy as they placed us right next to the elevator. We asked for a view of the bell tower, and got a view of a cement courtyard. The valet parking was odd, and when we arrived to had to go and find a bellhop.
Review 52:The hotel was in Austin, that is about the only thing going for it.
Review 53:Small rooms, Only one chair in the room so second Person has to sit on the bed Very thin walls - could hear neighbors conversations and they weren't yelling
Review 54:Location
Review 55:$18 parking.
Review 56:The hotel was very nice and the location was perfect for a college visit. I would be nice if they either included parking or breakfast. The are close options for breakfast but for $200/night why not include parking?
Review 57:the wi-fi was intermittent service and the parking was confusing at first
Review 58:the facilities were clean and friendly staff. It is a great place to stay for Longhorn fans as it is on the UT campus.
Review 59:their system did not have my reservations; had I not taken a copy of my confirmation room and rate would have been a different story. I also noted that my friends that did book using booking.com had a larger king room...
Review 60:Room smelled like sweat socks...bleh! Robes were dirty and torn. Room service waited way to long to pick up (other people's) dirty dishes left in hallways. Elevators were on the fritz. Wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. No washer or dryer in hotel. Booked a capital or tower view, didn't get.
Review 61:We loved the ambiance and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Loved the location and parking was pretty easy in garage. Beds were comfy & changed daily. Rooms were very clean.
Review 62:I didn't like how they don't let you know about additional charges get post on ur total bill as "deposits" that are later returned but still inconvenient. I also didn't like the price for parking. I feel the parking isn't so convenient for the price you pay. The tv in the room we stayed didn't work and no one ever came to check it. Even though we did call in for assistance.
Review 63:Overall - was a good experience from staff to food to room
Review 64:We loved our Parlor Room - spacious with a fabulous view!
Review 65:Nothing - everything was great!
Review 66:The rooms were very comfortable, the location was great and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Review 67:Like staying in a dorm. Loud people in the hallways each night. Terrible Nachos in the bar.
Review 68:The position is perfect. The staff is very nice and quick feedback to all the demands. The room is quite clean is well maintained.
Review 69:The staff was great. The young man working the coffee counter in the morning was outstanding! Can't beat the location.
Review 70:Our room had a shower only. It was very small and the water valve made a terrible noise.
Review 71:Location!!!!
Review 72:The room was not comfortable to everyone. We were 3 people the sofa is not comfortable to sleep.
Review 73:Nothing
Review 74:Cheaper and more afforable rates for a stay more than 2 nights
Review 75:Friendly Staff. Great location.
Review 76:Difficult to get shower temperature set confusing fixture in shower. Room for lounge chair in room but there was no chair besides the desk chair.
Review 77:Great location for UT visit.
Review 78:Took too long for valet
Review 79:The room and the staff

Review 86:Easy access to UT campus and onsite parking.
Review 87:Very convenient to our grandson's hs graduation and to downtown
Review 88:A bit pricey
Review 89:Good location and facilities.
Review 90:Although WiFi was free, I did not manage to access Internet in my Android phone
Review 91:Breakfast and very attentive staff in restaurant and bar
Review 92:Room is a little dark and needs more power outlets, and the air conditioner doesn't work well. I love staying here, though.
Review 93:The staff and the room itself were simply fantastic!
